What to expect
Make your way to Port Zante in Basseterre at least 20 minutes before your departure time; choose 9am or 11am when booking. Alternatively, round-trip transportation is available from the cruise port or the St. Kitts Marriott.  Step aboard a power catamaran for the speedy ride over to Nevis, where you will transfer to a climate-controlled van for an island tour. Visit the birthplace of Alexander Hamilton in Charlestown, then continue to the St. Thomas Lowland Church and the Nisbet Plantation Great House. Originally a private home, the plantation is now a luxury hotel; stroll through the lush grounds and take in the scenery.  Spend the rest of your day on Pinney's Beach, where you will dig in to a Caribbean-style lunch accompanied by rum punch or fruit punch. Relax on the beach, go swimming, and enjoy your included lounge chair and umbrella.  Return to Port Zante via power catamaran, sipping a provided beverage on the way.

A little bit of everything
Mar 2020
This was our third time in St. Kitts with a cruise ship so it was time to explore Nevis. We were in port 9 am- 4 pm. Meet time was at 930 in the marina which is just to the left of the port as you exit the bulk of the shops. The marina is also easily visible from the top of the ship before you disembark. We actually did not depart until about 10. We took a fast boat across the water to Nevis. The trip took about 30 minutes. The bar was open and the crew served us . The trip over affords you great views of both islands. Upon arrival in Nevis we were turned over to the care of our Nevis guide Smoothie who alternatively regaled us with historical facts, quizzed us or much to our dismay sang (haha!). Had a quick pit stop before we boarded our mini bus. Unfortunately at this point it was cloudy and drizzly. We stopped at Hamilton's birth place, then the hot springs and the Old Bath hotel, on to the old Anglican church and then a quick stop at Nisbet Plantation. Then we back tracked to Lime Coconut restaurant for lunch where we had a choice of jerked chicken/ fish/ veggie wrap with rice and slaw and two drinks ( all included in the price). From there we could walk to the beach where we had umbrellas and chairs at our disposal. It had by then turned into a beautiful day. We had a little bit less than an hour on the beach. The boat picked us directly off the beach at 2 pm. The people who opted for just the beach experience in Nevis were on the same boat with us. We were dropped off in Charlestown first and they were then taken by boat directly to the beach. Then we all got picked up together. Likewise a fun return ride to St. Kitts with open bar and good crew. We were back in port by 230 with plenty of time to do a little shopping and get back on board. This tour gives you the best of Nevis in a small amount of time and absolutely delivers.

Beautiful Island, Great Tour!
Mar 2020
Great boat ride over (beautiful landscapes of St. Kitts and Nevis). "Smoothie" (Lester) was funny, knowledgeable, and very personable when showing us around the island. We felt very taken care of. The food at Lime Bar was amazing --- we had the grouper and the jerk chicken. Highly recommended and would do it again! This tour included the boat ride over to/from Port Zante, a van tour around the island, lunch at a local beach bar, and just over an hour at Pinney Beach. Awesome!

Great tour
Jan 2020
I recommend this fast boat tour over to Nevus. Very informative. We would have liked some more time at the beach. The 2 hours we thought we had only ended up being 1 1/2 hours after lunch. We were picked up at the Marriott but there was no transportation to take us back when we arrived so there was some confusion. It all worked out though.

Nevis is worth the trip across the water!
Jan 2020
While we've visited St Kitts many times, we never ventured to Nevis until this trip. We were rewarded with a tour of the island including a stop at the oldest hotel, one of the hot springs, the beautiful Nisbet Plantation, delicious lunch and some time on Pinny's beach before being picked up right at the edge of the beach by our boat for the return to St. Kitts. It's a beautiful island full of interesting things to see and plenty of history

Great tour definitely worth it
Dec 2019
Our sailboat stopped here for the morning, we hopped off and did a tour of the plantation, hot springs and a museum. Then we headed to the beach where we had a bbq lunch and an hour to relax in Pinney Beach. That water is so calm and so warm.

Nice way to see Nevis
Took the Nevis plantation and Beach experience and it was a great way to see the island of Nevis. “Smoothie” was our tour guide on Nevis and was GREAT! This is a well-run operation from start to finish.

Blue Water Safaris redeemed themselves
Nov 2019
A year ago we had booked this tour and Blue Water Safaris were a 'no' show and boy were we upset. You can probably find my previous review.

A few days we were back in St. Kitts and tried this tour again with a promise from the company that they would show up. The tour was everything we wanted. They left right on time, the van was waiting for us on Nevis, had a great tour of the highlights, nice lunch and some beach time.

At this time I would highly recommend Blue Water Safaris.

Tour of Nevis
Jun 2019
The boat ride from Port Zante, St. Kitts to Charlestown, Nevis, was very pleasant and with an 'open bar' of fruit punch or rum punch. Once in Nevis, we boarded a kind of safari-type bus with open sides. Not terrible, but it was hot, and it is not the air conditioned van that is advertised on the description of this activity. The Hamilton House is disappointing. It is nothing but an empty house with nothing but pictures and historical facts on the walls. The actual museum had a cost attached, and it did not look like it was worth it. The Bath hot springs was a nice stop. Even though there is not much to it either, It is clean and well run, and all they request is a small donation to keep up with the small towels that they provide to enjoy the hot springs. The Nisbet Plantation was unnecessary, and seemed like a marketing ploy to get you in and get free advertising. One of the biggest problems I found with this tour is that you leave St. Kitts at around 10:30 and lunch was not served until close to 2:00 PM. My advise is to bring snacks and a bottle of water to hold you over. A simple lunch was served from a limited menu, but it was actually delicious and fresh. You get a two drink allowance so be sure to quench your thirst before heading to the beach. By the time we got to the beach, though, there was really only about 30 minutes left before the boat picked us up. I think they could easily remove the Nesbit Plantation from the tour, and give you a few more minutes of beach time

Fun in the sun
Jan 2019 • Friends
Went to this location on our last night as our final treat. There are numerous TVs behind the bar and around the property just like sport bars in the US. The menu is varied and the portions are filling. After dinner we had access to the packed dance floor where all races, nationalities danced to a great reggae band. A must visit location.
