No paddling experience is necessary on this half-day kayak tour of Turks & Caicos' mangrove habitat. While you enjoy a leisurely paddle through the channels, your guide points out a variety of marine life, which might include turtles and rays. Nature lovers appreciate that different birds make their home in this coastal area as well. This tour, which is ideal for families, includes light snacks and water.
  • No paddling experience necessary for this half-day kayak ecotour
  • Simply follow your guide as you explore the mangrove channels and spot wildlife
  • Learn about the vast ecosystem that makes up two-thirds of the islands
  • Life jackets, light snacks, and water are included
What to Expect
Meet at Leeward Marina or arrange for transportation from the Grace Bay area (additional fee). Upon arrival, meet your guide and get outfitted with a life jacket before hopping into a kayak to begin your half-day tour on the water. As you paddle through the mangrove channels, your guide points out a variety of marine wildlife; keep your eyes peeled for birds, juvenile turtles and sharks, rays, and iguanas. Before ending your tour back at the marina, there is time for a refreshing swim at a beautiful beach. This tour of the Turks and Caicos mangroves can take place only during high tide, so departure times vary as the tide moves throughout the day. On some days, high tide falls outside business hours and tours are not available.

This was a highlight of our trip to Providentiales. The water is calm, so you don;t need to be an experienced kayaker, and you get to take a bit of break and visit a little island. You don;t need to be super fit (I certainly am not), but you can't be completely out of shape.

Brentley was awesome tour guide(Tom too). He knew quite a bit about the mangroves. He knew about the wildlife living there and their habits. Really a great experience overall. We saw a couple babynlemon sharks, all kinds of puffer fish and quite a few turtles hanging out in
