Discover the magic of scuba diving in St. Thomas. No previous experience is necessary as a PADI certified instructor is with you at all times. Once you feel comfortable with the equipment, join your small group beneath the waves and see tropical fish, vibrant coral, and other marine life. We can provide a contact for a reliable and friendly taxi service if you'd like. Taxis pick up anywhere on the island, including all hotels, villas and Cruise ship docks.

- Divers are advised to allow a minimum of 18 hours between diving and flying.
- Non-certified divers (students & Discover Scuba Diving participants) will be required to complete a standard Diver Medical Questionnaire on arrival and are also advised to review ahead of time for any health conditions that may require a doctor's written pre-approval.
- Minimum age 10 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Please message us to let us know if you are coming from a cruise ship. We will make every attempt to work with you, however we do not work directly with the cruise companies and are not responsible for cruise scheduling, changes, and other logistics.
- If on a cruise, please consider pre-arranging a private taxi to meet you at the port and take you directly to Saga Haven Marina if your arrival time on the island is close to the excursion meeting time. If you would like a taxi recommendation, we'll be happy to provide our favorite friendly taxi contact.
- Please note that as per the questionnaire, if you are over 45 and are a smoker, or if you take prescription medications, you will need a signed form from your doctor.

- Our current boat capacity is limited to 50% of our USCG rating. This is to allow our guests space. Please spread out on the boat, space your groups (remembering the 6 foot rule) and don’t crowd to one area. If you have any questions, please speak with any of our crew or staff

Jared, Billy, Nen, Steve & Audrey were great & made the trip a lot of fun. I would highly recommend doing the second optional dive on the trip because that was next level diving. We went down to 40 feet and were swimming through & under Coral ledges. Jared was really good working with my daughters and getting them comfortable with their first scuba experience. They also had tons of good information about the island. No matter where your staying in St. Thomas it’s worth the short drive to get to the East End to dive with them

This was my first discovery dive ever.my boyfriend decided to sign up with me even though he was already certified. This was a top notch outfit. From TOM the captain to wonderful Spencer, it was an absolutely wonderful experience. I was very nervous to try scuba and all the folks were wonderful, helpful, and put me at ease. I felt safe and could feel their experience and attention during my dives. These guys have experience and patience to help a non scuba person have a wonderful experience. I would recommend this dive experience to everyone.

These guys were amazing. From accommodating a last minute request for cupcakes for my partner’s birthday, to cracking jokes the entirety of the trip and making everyone feel comfortable, these guys were amazing. Jess, Ana and Wolfgang were our crew members for the day and they were nothing short of awesome.
Ana took my both my and my girlfriend for two dives on the trip. The first dive was a great lesson in scuba theory and execution, and the second dive was an INCREDIBLE tour of some underwater ship wrecks. She was so nice and knowledgeable, we felt comfortable at every stage of the process.
Jess was so kind and hospitable on the boat, constantly asking if anyone needed anything, and super excited to chat about anything we wanted to talk about. So great!
Wolfgang was one of a kind....you gotta meet him to understand. The whole experience would be worth every penny if we just hung out with Wolfgang on the boat for 4 hours.
Thanks to the entire Aquamarine team for the amazing experience, we would love to be back with you for our certification!

Came to Saint Thomas on the Norwegian escape. Tried to book a dive through the cruise ship however, they were sold out. Contacted aquamarine dive center and they were able to accommodate me and my two cousins who are both doing discover scuba. I thought the service they gave, and the education for discover scuba was way above average. They spent time making sure that my cousins were going to be safe when we got into the water. The dive sites were amazing and so much fun. If I had to describe this dive operation, I would say it’s professional, friendly and safe. If I ever return to St. Thomas, I will definitely dive only with them again. Thank you so much to the crew for such a good experience. Also, the rum punch on the way back was great and the fresh baked chocolate chip muffins were such a nice touch.

We are so glad we chose DiveAqua for our diving excursion, we had a large group of 14 and they were more than accomodating. Miss Jess was AMAZING with all our kids and gave them snorkeling lessons and taught them about the island and wild life we saw. Quentin and Bryan were our scuba instructors and went out of their way to ensure everyone was comfortable with gear and skills prior to diving. Bryan even was gracious enough to take video of our dive and photos. They were so patient with our teenage first divers and made their experience so great, they want to get certified and go back! Captain Steve spoiled the kids with treats (and the adults with rum at then end :-) and a great ride to our site. We couldn't have had a greater experience and THANK YOU guys so much for hosting! The only regret we have is that we didn't pay attention to the time change and showed up an hour late, and you guys still accommodated! Thanks again for everything!

This was my 4th discover scuba diving outing with Aqua Marine Dive and every time has been special in its own way. On this trip, Jared and Nen took great care of my son who was on his first dive and really made it a memorable experience for him. This Dive shop is professional and organized but always creates a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Now that I’m certified I will be contacting Aqua Marine the next time I am in St Thomas.

This is a great company for SCUBA, but below average for snorkeling. I did the beginner SCUBA and Spencer was great. I did the same trip a year ago with Low Key, and I think the areas that Aqua marine take to you were much better than Low Key. However, the areas that we scuba dived in had rough water that were not very good for my wife who was going to snorkel. She would have been better off not going on the trip or going on a dedicated snorkel trip.

We're very sorry that your wife did not have a great time snorkeling while you were enjoying your dive. Unfortunately she was the only snorkeler on the boat and did not have a partner or guide to point out the marine life. Hopefully you can come back and take her on one of our guided snorkeling trips one day so we can point out all the amazing marine animals she missed! We're glad you enjoyed your dive!!

What a cool first experience of diving Aquamarine was able to provide for me. A huge thanks to Cora, Quentin, Justin, Jess, and Jerrod! I was terrified to dive for the first time, especially as a solo traveler, so I started out snorkeling and absolutely loved it. They took us to sites with such colorful coral and fish, and the crew told us really interesting histories about the surrounding islands. I was encouraged to try out Discover Scuba Diving and despite my initial fears about bigger fish or breathing completely underwater, Cora did amazing to make sure I was comfortable and ready for the next step. This has gotten me excited to return to Aquamarine, as it was such a great start for more diving to come!

This is not the 1st time doing a discovery dive as we have not had nor taken the time to get certified. From the outset of making our initial call to reserve a spot, to the time that we disembarked...we were very impressed. Captain Floyd, Audry and Abby were absolutely fabulous in both professionalism and hospitality. The instruction that we received was the best that we have experienced. They were very patient with my Sweetie as she was rather nervous and they kept me in check as I was somewhat over-eager. Cost was very reasonable as I was able to do a 2-tank dive. We would suggest that you go early and find the location as it could be difficult to find if you were unfamiliar with the area. Would highly recommend to any and all.

This was out first time scuba diving and I was admittedly very nervous. From the moment we arrive Jared was very calm and welcoming which instantly made me feel better. Our scuba guides were Quenton and Austin, they were both extremely knowledgeable and patient. I had the best time ever, I went from being incredibly nervous to not wanting to go home, now I can’t wait to get certified! I can’t thank this dive center enough for helping me find a new love. If you’re on the fence about going, go with this company, you won’t regret it!
