Whale-Watching Pirate Ship Cruise in Los Cabos
From US$69.00
Head out from Cabo San Lucas on a 3-hour whale-watching tour aboard a pirate ship. As you cruise the waters of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez, keep your eyes open for humpback and gray whales. Breakfast and an open bar are included onboard.
What to Expect
Your tour starts at the marina in Cabo San Lucas, where you'll hop aboard the Buccaneer Queen pirate ship. Meet the crew, and listen to a brief introduction about the area and the whales you are likely to see—humpback and gray whales.
Then set off, heading toward the rock formations and past Lover's Beach, the Arch of Cabo San Lucas, and a sea lion colony. Your captain stops for a bit so you can take photos before speeding up as you make your way into the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez. Keep your eyes peeled for the whales who visit these Mexican waters each year to breed, and listen to commentary from an onboard guide about the behaviors and other characteristics of the animals.
While you cruise, enjoy a provided breakfast and drinks from the open bar. Your tour ends with return to the marina.

Ok sure it is not an authentic sailing vessel. It still looks good. The crew is fun loving, and polite. The meal is simple yet good flavor. And yup whales, enough to have kept the Pequod busy and happy. There is also a pirate snorkel voyage...More

Hi there, I believe the pirate ship is a 2 1/2 hour trip and leaves the dock around 10:00 am and breakfast is immediately served. I think you have to pay for drinks, except for coffee, juice, etc.
