Historic Center Food Tour
Jul 2021 • Couples
Our Historic Center Food Tour with Rodrigo was excellent! We only had one full day in Mexico City, and this was the perfect way to spend it. We got to try food at eight different places, as well as some cocktails. Rodrigo was very knowledgeable about the history of each restaurant we visited & he also gave us a tour of the historic center, including a detailed history of the city and various landmarks along the way. I highly recommend this tour.

Had a wonderful experience with our tour guide Fernanda! She was so passionate and knowledgeable not only about the food but also the history and culture of Mexico. The food tastings and mezcal and tequila was outstanding …. There were so many tastings that we were stuffed and had to skip dinner! Would recommend this food trail to everyone and ask for Fernanda !

10/10 incredible experience! Once in a lifetime!
This was beyond an amazing experience! Not only were there so many delicious and unique foods but the history and information Laura shared with us throughout the tour exceeded our expectations (she was also so friendly and a lovely person overall!). From tortas, tacos, the best margaritas we’ve ever had, and delicious fruits, to a tasting of spices and other wonderful surprises, we would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Mexico City! We can’t wait to return and take the taco and mezcal tour!

Best food tour ever!
Jun 2021 • Couples
This was our first food tour and it did not disappoint. Laura, our tour guide is the perfect guide anyone can ask for. She was passionate, informative and very knowledgeable of Mexican culture, history and gastronomy.

We started off at Oaxaca en Mexico where she gave a bit of history lesson before the food came out. It was the best mole we had ever tasted. Not to one up the Oaxacan restaurant but the next stop was so much fun and tasty. We were so glad to have experience a Mexican market in Mexico City, without giving too much details…. Think exotic and adventurous.

Next stop, street food. Although we were already stuffed, we couldn’t help to finish eating. Who doesn’t love ceviche?!?! Then we continued our walking tour with some more history lessons while heading to our next stop, a cantina. We had drinks and more food! Not to spoil the rest of the tour, there’s more places afterwards and they were wonderful as well.

Anyway, if you get a chance to go to Mexico City you have to book the tour and ask for Laura.

Take the guesswork out of adventurous eating in CDMX
May 2021
This was a great introduction to cuisine in Mexico City that gave us the confidence to explore on our own in the days after the tour. The food on the tour was imaginative, authentic, and there was a good variety of savory, traditional, sweet, and adventurous. We starred one of the restaurants on the tour to make a trip back it was so good!

We were lucky enough to have the owner, Rodrigo, as our guide for just my husband and I. He was easy to talk to, candid with us about other recommendations around the city, and had great context/stories about the chefs, restaurants, and historical places. Without him, we would not have dared to try street food ceviche (!), insects, and fresh fruit - but we would have been missing out. You can tell that Rodrigo and co. put a lot of care into designing the tour and have great relationships with the vendors. Would highly recommend!
