Arrange to be picked up from your hotel or meet your guide at the downtown tour offices for the ride to Maligne Canyon, the deepest accessible gorge in the Canadian Rockies. Dress warmly for the experience, which runs in the morning or in the afternoon, for your convenience. Winter boots and ice cleats are provided for your trek across the frozen river.
Explore ice caves and frozen waterfalls from the valley floor, as your guide tells the story of the gorge, the geology that formed it, and the history of the area.
