Overview

Get up close to Niagara Falls on this boat tour that cruises from the Canadian side of the border. You’ll feel the power of the massive waterfalls as you motor past American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Horseshoe Falls—which you can view from either the interior or exterior decks (with free ponchos provided). Enjoy the trip at your convenience with frequent departures, morning through evening.

What to Expect

Meet for this Niagara Falls boat tour on Niagara Parkway.

Once you board the 700-passenger catamaran with upper and lower decks, choose to stay dry inside and view the falls from the glass windows, or to head to the outdoor decks to get splashed by the crashing falls. A poncho is provided to minimize getting wet. Snacks and drinks are available during the cruise.

Your boat first makes its way through the Niagara Gorge as it heads toward the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. For most, the highlight is getting close enough to feel the mist and hear the roar of the powerful Canadian Horseshoe Falls.

Your boat tour ends back at the same spot where it began, where you can purchase souvenirs.

Don't you have to do this? Yes!

My husband and I did this a million years ago with family. After the Infinity Mirror exhibit in Toronto we decided to revisit Niagara (since it is so close) and do all the things we remembered from childhood. It's really quite an experience to get...More

Perfect boat tour

This is a must do. I was wondering if I should do the Hornblower or Maid of the Mist and asked some locals. They recommended Hornblower due to new boats and there more space on the front of the boat. We did not regret it....More

My 2nd visit

Definitely, this is better than American side. Spectacular, what else to say. Should be there at least once in a life time.

The Hornblower serves the Canadian side and the Maid of the Midst serves the American side. They split this up a few years back. That way if you embark on the American side, you do not need a passport.

We did a package that included several excursions and did not have to wait in line.

No Hidden fees - we got ours at the landing - they do have a picture you can purchase after but we skipped that - we kept the thin plastic rain poncho's as a keepsake though :) - was fun!
