Overview
Follow charming cobblestone streets into the heart of old Quebec City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that’s best seen on foot. This private, guided walking tour of the historic center takes you straight to Quebec City’s highlights and hidden architectural gems. With the flexibility to choose a departure time that works for your group, you set the pace throughout the tour.
What to Expect

Meet your private guide at a central location in Quebec City’s Upper Town, and then set out on foot through the narrow cobbled streets of Old Quebec—the city's center and the historic heart of French Canada.

As you walk, take advantage of your time with your guide to chat about local history, culture, and landmarks, pausing as often as you wish to take pictures or learn more.

The itinerary is fully customizable, but some must-see highlights include the Fortifications of Quebec; Notre Dame des Victoires Church, one of the oldest stone churches in Canada; the Citadelle de Quebec, the official residence of the Canadian monarch; and the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, the city's iconic hilltop hotel.

When the walking tour concludes back in Upper Town, your guide can give you tips on the best things to see, do, and eat during the rest of your time in Quebec City.

Anne Tanguay was a great tour guide

Fascinating tour of the old city

Jocelyne met us at our hotel (the Chateau Frontenac) and walked us all around the old city--graciously weaving in a pharmacy stop so we could pick up an Rx we needed. We learned so much and had such a great time getting to know her,...More

Great Tour

Brought a group of college students to Quebec City and had a great tour experience with Robert as our guide. He provided a down-to-earth tour with interesting stories, good humor, and all of the sites. An excellent experience.

As long as they don't mind walking and standing for most of the tour time. Private tours are somewhat customizable, (you can stop and rest, if you like, or cover a lot of territory by walking quickly).
