Good attraction to visit
Jul 2021
I enjoyed visiting Sea life, the creatures are kept in good condition and looked healthy. I liked the old venue, it was full of character. The exhibits were very well designed, I liked the Amazon jungle theme. I loved the seahorses. It was a good attraction. For me the negatives were that the doors were heavy and that I feel it is a little expensive, particularly for a family. The adult price was £21 and £14.50 for a child. The attraction took about an hour and half for me to go around. So for that money I would expect more. There was an additional attraction inside for about £10. I feel a realistic price for entry would be £14 per adult and £8.50 per child. If the price is based on care of the creatures I think they could ask for donations, maybe tying them to a particular animal. It was good that we could take lots of photos as this gave good memories.

Amazing experience a must for ocean lovers
Amazing encounters with the ocean creatures. The large tank is amazing you get so close to turtles sharks and more. Very wel run center kept Covid safe at all times. The building itself is amazing to behold.

What Beautiful Sealife!
Jul 2021
What a wonderful and interesting place to go to. The creatures in here are truly beautiful and its a real shock to see the stunning Victorian vaults this is built into.

We had a wonderful time, and learned a lot. Strongly suggest its worth a visit.

Worth it
Jul 2020 • Family
Good trip. I plan to return after restrictions are lifted. Compared to other aquariums I’ve been to both in the Uk and abroad this is a favorite. The Victorian architecture is beautiful and the use of lighting is a nice touch. It’s definitely best to take your time here. I think some rush to see it all but believe me you’ll have time to appreciate everything here. Some seem to complain about the price but I think it’s very reasonable.

Good
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Easily booked online, friendly staff. There were lots of different fish to see and the turtles and sharks were great to see in the underwater tunnel. Could have been bigger, but a good way to spend an hour or so on a cloudy day in Brighton

Enjoyable visit
Myself and my partner spent a couple of hours at the oldest sealife centre in the world on our last day in Brighton. It was so hot I was sweating in there for the first hour. The building looked so cool with the rainbow lights glowing up the place. The lady showing us the starfish to touch was really knowledgeable and helped answer our questions. There wasn't a huge amount to see really, concidering the price for adults, but I think it would be better for families with children. The under water tunnel was really cool, but hard to stop for long due to crowds. The turtle was amazing, so big. Worth a visit to see alone. Would recommend if you need something to do but I'm sure there's other attractions which are a better value for money for a couple.

Better than Bristol.
Had a really fun morning at the aquarium! My partner and I went on a Monday morning so it was really quiet. Which really helped with the enjoyment for us. This would be great for families at any time, but if you're wanting to avoid the crowds or kids then weekday mornings are the best. There is a wide range of aquatic life there and we much preferred it compared to the Bristol Aquarium which was a bit underwhelming. I wouldn't recommend driving, there is little to no parking. Stick to getting transport into the centre or walking. There's also a wee shop. My boyfriend also says the ants are cool.

It was I think over priced for what it is
May 2021
We were a little disappointed with the sealife centre, for several reasons,
1, The music being played was so loud that you could not here what the staff were saying.
2, The shop was very disappointing, it was aimed at very young children mostly with cheep tourist tat. Nothing for adults,
3, There were no books on sealife in the shop or on conservation, this was disappointing especially as it says they are into conservation in a big way.
4, There were no local fish except for the Ray tank, also no crustaceans

Over it was a very interesting visit but they could do more on conservation, It’s very good at what it’s done, but when you compare with, the ones in Plymouth, Boulognes Norsica are way ahead. Norsica is quite possibly one of the best sealife centres in Europe
