      Amazing experience
I did this for charity with 2 friends to raise money for a memorial bench for my late husband. Steffi and Denny were amazing especially Steffi as I bottled it when at the top and was so close to giving up. It was emotional but her encouragement and reassurance meant I was able to complete it. And once over the edge I loved it!

      A small nice museum
Housed at the ‘Kop end’ of Anfield stadium, this is a small, nice museum. Short and crisp story telling of the key events in Liverpool FC history. Well worth a visit even you aren’t a Liverpool supporter

      Fabulous and Highly Recommended!
We tried this event out as the wife is a Liverpool fan and had always wanted to do it. I had to join in, despite my fear of heights. We visited the Museum first and that was brilliant, then it was onto the abseil. At the top, I must admit, I almost bottled it, but my Instructor and all the staff were amazing and very reassuring. It’s totally safe and once over the edge, I absolutely loved it! I did have an issue with my photos, but received brilliant customer service in relation to this and if anyone’s not aware, they are £7 for one, or you can have all of them for £15 which is great value. Go for it and thank you for the fabulous experience.

      Who likes liverpool?
I attended the liverpool v man u game at Anfield on January the 5th i was in the home end but was still absoutley heckled by these disgusting greasy scouse rats after i asked one fan in a polite manor to please stop using racially abusive words infornt of my children him and the rest of his friends continued to heckle me and my family for the rest of the 65 minutes of the game to the point of spilling a cup of fizzy juice on my youngest son age 7 with the claim of 'it was accidental' and to top it all off me and my wife took it up with the stewards of the game to the point they told me it was not there fault i then went to get food from one of the huts to be told they had no more pies no more bags of sweets so i finally settled for a COLD burger i then left after the game i was then followed to my car from these absoutle beaners and they through stuff at my car absoulte GEEKIES.

      Professional
From arrival to departure we had an amazing experience. We went to the FA cup game against Accrington. We were amazed by the number os match day staff on duty. All were so well presented and looked so professional. There were staff everywhere to help you. We had access to the Code lounge which was great . Doors were opened so we could go and look at our seats and take pics. As I was out there I met a steward who was so lovely and informative. His name was Andy and he was a real star. Seats were fantastic and view of park was great. Staff in code lounge were fantastic and no long queues for food or drinks. Toilets immaculately clean. Staff everywhere to assist . Dugout bar after the game was fantastic and huge. Prices for drinks very reasonable. Great for all ages

      Anfield/LFC: Here Comes the Sun!
Traveled 17+ hours to watch the match vs Man U. Popped into the stadium before match day to visit the store and explore. Great facility, fantastic hosting of a massive event, super energy! Proud to be a fan. Also, walked to and from city center in “severe” winter conditions. Stadium is easily accessible. We must do it again!

      Fantastic
Excellent experience. This was the first time I’d done an abseil so was feeling a little nervous to say the least. The instructors were fantastic and helped put me at ease and got me over the edge! It was brilliant, a fantastic experience. I would recommend it and look forward ti my next one 😉

      Fantastic!!
Did the abseil yesterday and loved it! Fantastic time from start to finish with the various team members all the way through. A huge thank you to Steph (hopefully that's her name) who helped my partners daughter at the top as she was struggling a bit with the lean over. She was really patient with her and reassuring and I want to say a massive thank you. Then it was my turn & I loved it! Felt very safe and very relaxed. Totally recommend it!! You can buy some pictures at the end but they are pretty cheap. Again thank you to all involved.

      Outrageously expensive
We paid £600 a head for the eights lounge to watch the match v Chelsea.Staff friendly and helpful however food very average, stadium seats too small with almost no legroom and they had the audacity to charge for all drinks both soft and alcoholic. I suppose there are enough people around like us who will do this once but we shall never be ripped off like this again.

      An experience you'll never forget
The sign asks I if you're READY FOR AN ADRENALINE RUSH and they're not kidding. Abseiling down the front of the stadium is an incredible rush. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the level of safety that surrounds you as you go on to the roof and then abseil down. I've done this sort of thing in the past, but they took safety to an even higher level than I've experienced before. I was definitely pumped when I got down.

      One step and away
What an amazing time. No waiting around and the instructors were really nice and talked you through everything. I’m going to do it again. Leaning over the edge when you first start gets the heart going. But once you trust it’s safe you fly down. Great fun. Recommend highly.

      What and experience
This is without a doubt the best atmosphere out of any football stadium. What a team and what a connection from the club and supporters. As a Scotsman looking in from the outside, it was the best footballing experience I’ve had. What a club.

I got bus 17 from Greek Street in Liverpool and it took me just 20 mins to get there.
My pre booked time was 10:15 thru Virgin Experience Days and cost Adult £17 (Nov 2023 prices)..
When you start you are given a audio guide and you can take your time as you start from the top level..
As you follow the guide you see pictures of past players,Manager's, How Liverpool FC began, Great views towards The Docks as well..And at one point Jurgen Klopp even tells you to come and view the stand outside where the TV gantries are..I visited the away dressing room and the Home with the players shirts still on there hooks.. On Level 2 you can get hot food and drinks, The best for me is when you thru the players tunnel and your headset starts playing the roar of the crowd. The pitch is like artificial but its not..All of the stewards were so friendly. Outside is a great tribute to those who unfortunately lost there lives at Hillsborough..Next I visited The Museum, It told you all about the history of Liverpool FC , Fascinating facts and plenty of memorabilia on show. A must experience for all footy fans ..

We visited on a Sunday as we thought it would be quieter. Traffic was really busy so we parked up in Mount Pleasant car park (£5 for the day) & used public transport. Number 17 bus stops at the Anfield Gates.
Tour was well organised & a great experience even if you’re not a football fan. The guides are enthusiastic & knowledgeable.
Plenty of photo opportunities & if you’re on a budget the photo packs can be expensive but better to take your own. You don’t feel hurried or regimented on the tour and can take your time to soak up the atmosphere & history.
    Excellent day out, highly recommended.
Good value but the experience days from the likes of Virgin can work out more expensive !

I've been lucky enough to attend games at Anfield quite a few times per season but never got round to doing the tour. I went today with my husband and 3 children, had a very generous 30% discount due to having a membership (membership worth its weight in gold, honestly, look it up if you haven't already). So I paid £53ish for 5 people! Bargain! All staff at Anfield are so friendly, helpful & nothing is ever too much trouble. They were extremely informative during the tour and it was clear they genuinely cared that everyone was having a nice time, asking us lots of questions about where we were from, had we been before etc. Inside was spotless as per usual, large hot dog & drink £7, bargain for stadium food, plenty of staff around to help should you need anything too. The tour lasted us around 2 hours and there is so much to see for your money, a must do for any fan. Put it this way, my husband is a Leeds fan & still got emotional walking out of the tunnel onto the pitch side! Thank you Liverpool, see you next week for the Sheffield United game, YNWA. Ps. Tip, after your stadium tour take a walk/drive around the area to try and find all the murals, great fun!

Me and my son travelled from Worcester on the 29/12/24 to do the Anfield tour he had for Christmas previous. He was really excited and couldn’t wait. We had the 3pm booking, but we were slightly delayed by someone on the Stanley park car park wanting to charge me £13 to park as Everton were playing at home and they were using the car park, I refused to pay as it didn’t say anything about this in the instructions. A lady came over and waved us through as we weren’t here for the game and only to do the stadium tour.

He loved the stadium tour, although he said he felt very rushed by the staff who kept telling everyone “don’t forget Liverpool play in a couple of hours”
We finished the tour and then moved on to the Museum tour, well we couldn’t do this as the lift wasn’t working to go up, we couldn’t see any stairs, so we and lots of other people walked away as there was no one around to ask. So I said come on let’s go and have a look in the shop and treat him to a shirt. Couldn’t do that either as that was now shut.

It wasn’t so bad for me as I’m not a Liverpool fan, but I was really sad that he was upset as he’d been looking forward to this for a long time.

Luckily we were staying over night so I could take him to the Liverpool store in Liverpool one the next day.

So it was a bit of a disappointing experience overall. Was almost made to pay to park, rushed through the tour, couldn’t get into the museum and the store was shut.

We done this tour in march 2019 but I forgot to post this review it’s been in my drafts. It’s an experience we still talk about to this day!

The tour guide terry was amazing and went into a lot of detail about the history of LFC he is very passionate about his job which made the tour amazing every time he spoke you could hear and see the passion he had for his job

The tour was amazing I’m not a football fan but I found it very interesting

My husband is a massive Liverpool fan so it was a lovely experience I highly recommend it!

An amazing experience for any Liverpool fan! There's about three hours worth of time to spend on this including the museum experience, at least, so very good value. All of the guides and stewards are so pleasant and lovely to speak to and you find out so much about how the club, manager and players operate behind the scenes. I also really liked how the stewards took photos for you in certain places so in the press room, for example, you are not pressured into buying a photo which they could exploit to make more money. It does get very busy as you'd expect so there's the odd queue here and there. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Booked in for 12.45pm on Saturday, big mistake, we arrived at 12.30 expecting to get in at about the due time, there was a long queue and it took us about 45 minutes to get to the main desk there were no toilets available, they were all locked up, while queueing, the tour was obviously over booked, while standing in the queue there was a mobile burger van charging £9 for a burger and an ice cream van charging £3.50 for a cone, unsurprisingly they were not doing a great deal of business, when we finally reached the front of the queue and began the tour we were herded like cattle and held in certain areas for what seemed to be an age while someone at the front were talking while those of us at the rear could not hear, although most of the staff were helpful and friendly I found that there were far too many of the other staff who were loud, rude and a little intimidating, who did these people think they were speaking to? I found that since my last visit to the stadium whoever organises the tour are now fleecing the supporters and visitors, they are now charging extra for photographs (£30) where before you could just stand or sit at a certain location and take your own photos, the tour felt rushed at points being constantly told to move on, we were standing in the part where there are the old barriers watching the screen when a member of staff rudely shouted at us to move while a lady with a disabled child was coming through, the lady herself was very polite and I don't think the attitude of this member of staff was necessary, I myself am blind so this man shouting caused me to panic. it was very crowded so you couldn't get any decent photo's, I think the club need to look at their tour booking policy and some of the staff need more training in customer service, overall I was very disappointed at my experience being spoiled by rude staff and overbooking.

On a trip to Liverpool I went to the Anfield tour (just to say that I have no allegiance to the team) I found the tour to be detached, cold and commercial. The Anfield tour was not a personal tour but instead was undertaken through a visual device and ear plugs that provide a recorded history as you walk through the stadium in your own small group. In honesty I found that it was not particularly clear where and when to play the device and as such I soon lost interest. The ushers in each area were friendly but In truth I felt that I could have been in any big stadium in the country because Anfield is effectively a completely rebuilt ground and as such has been unable to retain the previous atmosphere that comes with age. The one area in the stadium where the guide was very helpful and was happy to talk to everyone and impart further information and personal experiences was the lady at the changing room/tunnel area who was lovely. The most enjoyable part of the tour was the museum which was done very well and felt full of character and atmosphere through the memorabilia and its just a shame that the stadium tour couldn’t capture all of this amazing history in the same way.

A brilliant tour of the stadium with lots of opportunities for photos - the pitch from both above and ground-level, the dugouts, changing rooms and in the LFC museum which was a free add-on to our ticket. The staff even kindly offered to take a photo of each party sitting at the media table in the press room!

I always feel that the quality of the tour guide can be the difference between having a good time and having a great time. Our guide Jamie definitely contributed to our overall enjoyment of the tour. He was entertaining, funny and bubbly, having a laugh and joke with everyone while at the same time answering all our questions, being very knowledgeable and getting to know everyone during the tour as best he could. Thank you Jamie for being an excellent tour guide!

There was no clear info about the limitations to tours on match days!! So disappointing to discover just how restricted it was, when we arrived. The info should be much clearer at the point of booking - we didn't get to experience the changing room, the press room, the players' tunnel nor the dugout. We had found the small print about no access to the changing room on match days, but nothing about the other areas, so we had a very limited tour indeed - our 12yo son was bitterly disappointed (as were we). The tour guide was informative and funny, but his frequent use of the word "bloody" was, I felt, inappropriate - especially with a few youngsters on the tour.
Get your act together LFC, and give clear upfront info at the time of booking about tour limitations on match days!!!
