NON-REFUNDABLE!!! - refuses to refund my money $270 pounds for a cancelled trip > 60 days in advance
Feb 2020
My trip to London got cancelled, more than 60 days in advance I reached out to them to cancel and they refused. The only grant a credit for up to 1 year, despite my telling them I don't live in Europe and won't be visiting the UK in the next year.

They claim this is NON-REFUNDABLE - but the fine print is I have no idea where, but it is definitely not visible here.

Recommend that you GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY that is refundable and more amenable to international travelers.

Great tour
Aug 2019
I went on this tour with my husband and we just lovd it. Our guide, Carol, was simply amazing! She knew every bit of history in Oxford, showed us the universities, talked about Tolkien, C.S.Lewis and even Endeavour! The Downton Abbey village and castle were spectacular, I highly recommend to everybody, fans or not!

WORTH EVERY PENNY!
Aug 2019
I would highly recommend taking this tour for anyone, even if you have not seen the show Downton Abbey(like myself). The tour guide Carol was absolutely fabulous. She was so knowledgeable, not only about the show; but, also about every single mile we went from London, into the English countryside. And, the bus driver Malcolm was great, very funny, and took part with the group as well. The coach was very clean and comfortable. My daughter and I will be back to London at some point, and we will definitely take another tour with this company!

HighClere was stunning!
Tour of Oxford, Bampton and HighClere was delightful! The castle was definitely the gem of the day. In Oxford you were just given free time and no guided tour there sadly. Bampton was small and cramped spaces, we could have spent less time there actually. The castle was nice at the end of the day, but could have spent a bit more time there with the gardens and grounds being so well done. Overall a lovely day, but shifting to more time to the end would have been nice.

Wonderful Tour
Sep 2019 • Couples
We travel quite a bit and usually don’t like to use tours, prefer doing our own thing. But we decided to use one for the Downton Abbey tour. It was an excellent decision! We had Frank as our guide and Carlos as our driver. Just the ride itself was enjoyable. Smooth, very comfortable and great on time! Frank, our tour guide, was wonderful! He made the trip very enjoyable. He was knowledgeable of the many things to see, to do, where to eat and use the facilities. He was also quite funny. He knew exactly when to talk and show you things; and when to just let you walk, look and take it all in. He gave you plenty of time at each stop and gave excellent instructions as to arrivals/departures at each stop. His recommendations were spot on with everything! At the end of our tour he spoke to each person/group, letting them know which stop was best for them to get off to be closer to their accommodations, even advising which train/tube/taxi to take to get there smoother/faster. I would recommend Premier Tours to anybody, especially with Frank & Carlos! Great trip guys!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A Very Pleasant Way to See Downton Abbey!!
Aug 2019 • Friends
This tour was a very easy, pleasant way to see Downton Abbey, Bampton- Downton Abbey Village and Oxford. The bus was luxurious- a double decker with extremely comfortable seats, air conditioning and a bathroom. Our guide was very charming and she truly cared about each person on the tour. She gave us great tips and advice at each stop.
Starting out from Victoria Coach Station, we boarded the luxury bus and made our way to Oxford. There was a comfort stop along the way. Our guide showed us the beautiful Oxford Universities area and then gave us free time on our own to get an early lunch and explore .
We then travelled to the beautiful Cotswolds area ( you will see thatched roof cottages and lovely flowers) to Bampton - the sight of fictional Downton Abbey Village, Grantham. We went inside the lovely church used for all the weddings and saw Mrs. Crawley’s house, the pub, Hospital and other village sights. Inside the library ( Downton Abbey Hospital) there is a lovely little shop with artisan made Downton Abbey/Bampton handicrafts and souvenirs . The funds raised are used to support the local village library. Please bring your pounds because they do not accept credit cards.
We then made our way to the ultimate destination - Highclere Castle aka Downton Abbey. We had plenty of time to tour , explore the grounds and even enjoy tea. They have an indoor tea area and outdoor tea tables, tented or out in the sunshine.
This tour was wonderful and our guide was superb. It is the best way to see Downton Abbey sights. It is a full day adventure ( we arrived back in London around 7:00 PM). Our fellow travelers were lovely - we were all Downton Abbey fans, so we all connected well together. It is very well paced and the bus was quite comfortable.

Magical Day
Aug 2019
Loved this tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and so articulate. She explained British history in detail and put in context what we were seeing. Be prepared for a very long day. The bus left the station around 8:30 am and returned just after 7 pm. You need to be ready to walk as in each location we were on the move!

Great Tour
Aug 2019
Being a big Downton Abbey fan, it was awesome seeing the places in the show in real life! We saw the little village of Bampton where they filmed village scenes and the church used for the show’s weddings. Our tour guide, John gave us little facts along the way about the show and was very pleasant. After your tour at the castle, you can have afternoon tea and scones in their little cafe which was a nice touch. It poured down rain on our visit to Oxford and we got soaked, but our tour guide was a trooper and didn’t give up on giving us the tour of the city. For lunch, eat at The Turf Tavern in Oxford which came recommended by our guide. It’s very old and was Bill Clinton’s hang out during his studies at the university. Best fish and chips in England!

Well done
Aug 2019
Visiting Oxford was a bonus for a tour featuring Downton Abbey. We could have used a bit more time in Oxford, but that's always the case with tour stops. We had ample time to stroll Highclere Castle interior and grounds, and had a brief stop in Bampton Village. Tour guide was good, though group was quite large.

Oxford and Highclere Castle Tour
Aug 2019
The opportunity to see Bampton (site of Isabel Crawley's home, Downton village green and church) was great. Highclere Castle itself was amazing, the interiors look exactly the same as in the show. The grounds are gorgeous with many old growth trees. I was disappointed with the Oxford part of the tour. We arrived at Oxford around 10:30am on a Sunday. Christchurch college only opens for tours at 2pm on Sunday and all the churches were closed due to services. So, I only got to see the outside of the colleges. This was a bummer. The bus itself is double decker and fairly cramped. You are instructed to keep the same seats throughout, so if you are lucky enough to get a window seat, then yay. Otherwise, my family was split up in different rows, none of us with a window seat for the whole trip.
