Just spent the most marvelous day touring with Go Cotswolds! We saw all of the postcard highlights, and got to visit some of the quiet towns scattered among the beautiful countryside. Tom was an excellent guide, pacing the day perfectly, and sharing his obvious love of the area while zipping along back country roads known only to locals. We also had ample time to explore on our own. Even before we booked, Lisa was incredibly helpful at answering our questions about the area. If you want to explore the Cotswolds, or would even like an overview before exploring on your own, I highly recommend Go Cotswolds as the first item on your itinerary!

It was an outstanding guide and equally outstanding customer service and experience. The tour guide Mark is highly knowledgeable and actually lives in beautiful town Chipping Campden and has got full knowledge of this area and friendly approach. From the begginning of the tour the customer service was excellent. The tour guide picked me up from outside my hostel in Stratford - Upon - Avon and others in railway station there or in Moreton in Marsh. They do tours in small groups which is for me excellent. From the begginning the customer service was excellent. I got a welcome email straight after booking tour with them with all the necessary details of the tour. A day before the departure I got a remember email with name and the mobile number of tour guide in case there were any issues. I loved each of storybook towns on the tour and the most a quite and beautiful place Snowshill and cottages with thatched roof. Thanks to Your agency I had a great day in the beautiful part of England, for sure it was a remarkable day like in the fairytale. I highly recommend to book a tour directly with this family agency which guide approach to guests is like friendly. For me it was a five stars tour. Thank You very much for a wonderful day in Cotswolds! Greetings from Slavica in Croatia!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review Slavica! Tom and I (the owners of Go Cotswolds) have both travelled the world solo, so we know how daunting it can be to travel alone in a new country. That's why we have made our tours affordable, convenient and available for solo travellers, couples and small groups. I'm so happy to hear that you had a wonderful day in the Cotswolds with Mark, and that you appreciated our friendly customer service. We hope you can join us for another tour some day!

Tom picked us up on the dot of 8.50 from the hotel we were staying in, he was friendly from the minute we met him, we chatted all the way to Morton in March where we picked up the rest of our party who were arriving by train from London, we were 16 in all.
Our 1st port of call was Dovers Hill, which is looked after by The national Trust, he told us lots of interesting facts gave us adequate time to take photos he even took a photo of our group, and emailed it to us the next morning.
We drove down beautiful little lanes taking in the wonderful autumn colours which were spectacular.
The surprise village which I won't name so it remains a secret was absolutely stunning horses being ridden through the middle of the village.
We stopped in Stowe on the Wold for near on an hour and a half for lunch, plenty time to explore this large Cotswolds village with it's lovely antique shops, and eateries.
Our last stop was the stunning village of Bourton on the Water, with it's little bridges and all the ducks swimming up and down the stream lots of places to visit. Lots of people sitting around enjoying the beautiful autumn sun shine.
Then it was off back to Morton in March to drop the people back to the station, through out the day Tom did not stop explaing everything to us, he made the whole day very special, we learnt a lot and my husband was able to take in the wonderful scenery as he was not driving.
Plenty of comfort stops throughout the day, place to store your luggage if need be and racks above your head to place all the bits and bobs that you might of bought on the various stops.
Throughout the day Tom drove very carefully if you want a comprehensive taster of the best the Cotswolds has to offer this is the tour for you.

We booked the Go Cotswolds day tour on August 14th for our recent stay at Stratford Upon Avon. During our tour Tom went through all the new safety measures which was reassuring. A local to the area Tom was incredibly knowledgeable and informative. The time spent in each area were well assigned and we felt the tour was a fantastic taster of the area. We appreciated some of the personal touches unique to a local family business and would highly recommend the experience.

In late May of 2022, we did the Cotswold tour after being picked up at our hotel in Stratford Upon Avon. Our driver, I apologize for not remembering his name, did an excellent job of ferrying us all over the countryside and telling us great stories about the area. The towns we visited, the extra stops were a great enhancement from previous trips where I did the driving. I heartily recommend this company.

The Go Cotswolds tour from Stratford Upon Avon is probably the best and most affordable and extensive tour you can take in the beautiful and quaint Cotswolds.
We were staying in Chipping Campden and the tour bus picked us up right outside our hotel. Since it was September 2020 we were in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic and so precautions had to be taken. We had to hand sanitise each time we entered the tour bus and had to wear our masks at all times. The bus surfaces were regularly cleaned. The tour itself was very scenic, extensive and exciting especially if you are travelling to the Cotswolds for the first time and want a taster of every town in the area. The tour encompassed Chipping Campden, Dover Hill, Broadway Tower, Stow on the wold, Bibury and Bourton on the water. I loved all stops but the one which I found to be quintessential Cotswolds was the town of Bibury with it's beautiful Arlington Row. I am pretty sure most people would agree with me on that one as its picture postcard Cotswolds. The town which I found to be the most lively was certainly Bourton on the water with many day trippers from London and a wide selection of pubs and restaurants by the river. The tour guide was very informative and provided us with a detailed history of the region and extensive knowledge of the area. He is local to the region. I would give our tour guide a 10/10 when it comes to knowledge about the Cotswolds , it's history and it's culture. I would highly recommend taking this tour and would not think twice about booking another.

Thank you so much for your lovely review Amjad! I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed your tour of the Cotswolds with Tom, and that you were reassured by our rigorous COVID-19 procedures to help keep everyone safe during these difficult times. You're right - our tour is perfect for the first-time visitor to the Cotswolds, and while we don't visit *every* town and village in the Cotswolds (there are over 150, after all!) we do take you to the best and most beautiful places. Bibury is always a popular spot with our guests! Thank you so much for taking the time to write us a review, we really do appreciate it. We are adding some new tours for 2021 (when we are eventually allowed to open!) so we hope to see you again in the future!

From the very moment I booked the trip to the Cotswolds and the help of the Go Cotswolds team, I knew that the trip would be beautiful and one that I would remember for a long time. Our guide and driver Mark was very nice and accommodating. All along the way, he presented many known and unknown information about the region and the charming villages we passed through. Everywhere we had enough time to take photos, drink coffee, shop or simply walk. We have passed through several more interesting locations such as Bibury, Stow on the Wood, Camden, Bourton-on-the-Water and for anyone who likes a combination of extremely tame nature and beautiful towns, I recommend choosing Go Cotswolds.

We decided to book this tour as it meant we could both enjoy the scenery without the hassle of finding parking in each village but this tour was so much more than that.
Mark was a fantastic guide taking us to villages and locations through back roads we would never have known about whilst giving information about the areas only someone who has lived in the area for over 25 years would know.
I can't recommend this tour enough its great value for money and you will not regret it.

Thank you for your lovely review Andrew and Sandra! It was a pleasure to have you on our tour and I'm delighted to hear that we exceeded your expectations! Anyone with a car and a driving license can drive around the Cotswolds, but spending the day with a friendly local person can make all the difference between just 'sight seeing' and 'making memories'. As one half of the husband and wife team who owns and operates Go Cotswolds, I am absolutely thrilled with your feedback - it has really made my day! Thank you!

We recently had the pleasure of enjoying A Day in the Cotswold tour.....our guide Colin was absolutely superb during the whole day, so enthusiastic, knowledgeable, friendly, polite, he even remembered each passengers first name & used them whilst chatting, lovely touch!....
The whole tour was great, we saw many different places we didn't even know existed.
I recommend this to all new & returning visitors to the Cotswold area.
Thank you Colin, Lisa & Tom for making sure we enjoyed our trip especially with my wife, Natalie's seating arrangement :).
