I did the full day private Giant’s Causeway tour with Lewis. He picked me up at my hotel in a very comfortable vehicle. We drove along the beautiful Antrim coast. I have never seen so many rainbows and double rainbows in my life. The coastal route is spectacular and Lewis kept up a running commentary that was both interesting and informative. The Giant’s Causeway was the highlight of a very enjoyable day. Dunluce Castle and the Dark Hedges were worth seeing. After a full day, I was glad to be dropped off at my hotel.

Unlike it’s Belfast competitor, this tour caters more to die hard and new fans of the show (and non fans too). Our tour guide/drive was Derek, who is known for his corny jokes, strong opinions on GOT character, and all around gregarious fun nature. I swear the tour was much more fun simply because of Derek. He made you laugh, he called out ppl (in a fun way) but through it all, he was always highly accommodating to any of our needs and made the 12-13 hour days as much fun as possible. You can also tell that he loves what he does and it show through clearly in his stories and passion for the city of Belfast and the growing tourism industry.

We did a private tour through McComb's Coach Travel on 29 February and Keith was our guide. He was very professional and gave us a lot of information related to Game of Thrones filming sites. He played short videos showing the episodes filmed at various locations we visited.
We stopped at the rope bridge minutes before a wind storm moved in. Our next stop at the Giant's Causeway was exciting due to the weather but well worth it! We had a good lunch at a cafe and did a quick stop at Old Bushmills Distillery. We also stopped at a jewelry store that produced some of the jewelry for Game of Thrones.
Keith was knowledgeable about past and current history and we appreciated his insights. I was especially impressed by the brief history he gave us of the Peace Wall in Belfast. He also told us about other things to do in the area, which was helpful.

Desmond was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and flexible with our itinerary. It was great not having to share this experience on a bus with with 50+ other people. We could stop when we wanted to and spend as much time at any location we chose. Be sure to wear comfortable, hiking shoes so you can walk on the stones at Giant's Causeway - nice experience. We would definitely book this tour again with a request that Desmond be our guide!

It is the worst service I have ever seen. The instruction said the check in place is 22 Donagall Road, but when I arrived, I couldn't find the bus. I made a phone call to the staff, they said the bus was in front of the Europa Hotel, and if I couldn't get to the Europa Hotel on time I would miss the bus, and I couldn't get any refund, and getting to a wrong place was totally my own mistake.
That's so ridiculous.
这是我见过的最差的服务,上车地点完全不是指引上所写的位置,然后客服告诉我这和他们一点关系都没有,如果我不能及时赶到,我将无法乘坐大巴并且不会收到任何退款。
绝对的不可理喻。

We had the best private tour with Tony Mulholland and saw every beautiful thing on the list. He gave us insider tips and took us to a couple of places not listed. We also had Tony for a second day giving us the Belfast tour and his version of the black taxi tour. He is friendly, informative, and very prompt!

I had a great day of excursion by the McCombs coaches- especially our great tour guide Stephen with very good knowledge history of Ireland and the areas that we visited. What a lovely pleasant chap who is very well mannered and full of beans! Cracked jokes and made the journey a pleasant one.
It was a combined Game of Thrones and Giant Causeway tour which was absolutely a great experience- besised the weather was fantastic- warm, nice and sunny and have got a tan :-)
We had a most wonderful time- Thank you Stephen

If a private tour is within your budget, definitely go for this one! We were in Belfast in the summer when many locations are crowded with the big coach tours. Being in a smaller group you have more flexibility with your itinerary and the smaller van can go to locations the larger coaches can't.
Our driver Troy was great and provided us with a good mix of GoT knowledge, history and local lore. All of the locations are stunning and it was nice to be able to enjoy them at our own pace.

How long is the tour? Departure and return times? Do you pick up at the cruise terminal, or what is the nearest hotel pick up? We are arriving by cruise ship at 8:00 a.m. and departing at 6:00 p.m. It usually takes 30-60 minutes before they let us off the ship. Most tours are too long to make it back to the ship on time. But this looks like such a fun tour and we are Game of Thrones fans.

We are a group of 5, some are more avid GOT fans than others. Is it possible to combine a tour of GOT sites and some others such as Belfast murals and the Dunluce Castle?

Would this tour work with 2 USA tourists visiting 2 Belfast friends-would the local Belfast persons enjoy this tour as well??
