From the time of booking through the conclusion of the tour, Rabbie’s customer service was outstanding. We booked online about a month before departing the US. We met at the Rabbie’s office in Edinburgh. We were greeted by a friendly team member and then purchased a wonderful breakfast in their cafe. We had to walk about a block and up a small hill (it’s Edinburgh!) to meet the van. Our tour guide/driver, Catty, was awesome! We had a full tour bus. The seats were very comfortable with room to store a small bag in the rack above the seats. It was clean and the temp was perfect. Catty shared her wealth of knowledge with engaging stories. Our first stop was about 30 mins in a lovely fishing village. We also spent about three hours of free time in St Andrew’s. It was plenty of time to enjoy a relaxing lunch and see all of the sites. We had plenty of photo stops as well as restroom stops. You cannot beat the value of this tour! We selected Rabbie’s because they offer small group buses, 16 people, and they guarantee departure even if the bus is not full. It was incredibly reasonably priced and the day was packed with breathtaking views and memorable experiences!

This was a good tour, we got to see the fishing village but it was really nothing more than a pit stop to go to the bathroom and get a coffee. Not sure it is worth the stop, we only had about 25 mins there. The woman at the museum was totally rude about using their bathroom, even though we were paying customers, having purchased something at their cafe. Rabies should not even say that you can use their facilities, she was so rude. St Andrews was great, we liked the fact that we had alot of time on our own to explore the town and the golf course. We had plenty of time for lunch and to see everything. Our guide was great, Not sure about his name but I think it was Ben. He was very informative and friendly, kept us informed on the drive, knew a ton of history and kept it interesting. The men all loved him because he told them how to get a picture on the bridge at St Andrews golf course!! I would recommend this tour.

Our guide Jim Divine was outstanding! He was very knowledgeable and great story teller, which both lead to an amazing trip. A very kind and considerate person, he made everyone feel welcome and brought us together. Even though we went on the busiest day ever of St Andrew’s, he stayed calm, cool, and collected and delivered a fantastic day for everyone. Thanks a bunch!

Our driver was an extremely pleasant man with a great taste of humor. However, this is as far as it goes..the bus was going a little too fast and the acoustics was extremely poor and the inside of the bus was too noisy (I suppose, their fleet is outdated, hence the noise) and we ended up not listening to a single thing the driver was saying. My impression was that the company is producing mass tourism tours without attention to detail and treat people as naive tourists, instead of mindful travellers.

We cover key sites that tourists are interested in seeing, but the guide should bring their own perspective to the tour, to make for a more unique and authentic experience. If you were unable to hear the commentary, then we can appreciate that your impression of the tour was negatively affected and we are sorry about this. The commentary is a key part of the tour and it should be audible from all seats. We can't identify your booking from the review, so please do contact us at feedback@rabbies.com so that we can follow up on your experience.

Let me start by saying that the tour guide, Ally, was very entertaining and did the best he could given the lack of material (destinations) to work with. This is not a critique of him or Rabbies Tours, there just was nothing to do in any of the places we stopped-- the seaside town, St Andrews, and Fife. And we were in St Andrews for 3 hours! After eating lunch in a pub and walking the grounds of the cathedral, we were so bored we shopped in H&M until it was time to leave. Seriously, we could have done that in Edinburgh or even at home.

We're really sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy this itinerary. St Andrews is a very popular destination and with the Cathedral, Castle, West Sands Beach, Old Course, British Golf museum and more, there is plenty to see and do. We offer around 2.5 hours here so that our passengers have time to visit a few of these sites as well as have lunch. Generally speaking, this works well and receives positive feedback. We're glad that Ally impressed and entertained you but it does sound as though this wasn't quite the right tour for you and we're sorry you didn't enjoy it. Thanks for the feedback, Kind Regards, Aimee

Nick was my guide for the St Andrews trip and made the experience wonderful. He gave a brilliantly detailed lesson on Mary Queen of Scots, which was a lot of fun as well as informative. The day at Anstruther (go in the Fisheries museum - you won’t be disappointed) and St Andrews was so much fun. I liked being on the golf course and paddling in the sea. This was my 6th tour with Rabbies and each one is better than the last

Our guide Jim Divine was very kind, extremely informative and very knowledgeable. The drive itself was nice, with plenty of scenic views along the way. The stops were beautiful and idyllic - we had the perfect amount of time at every place to walk around and get photos or snacks. This was our second tour with Rabbies and it did not disappoint!

This tour makes too many stops, leaving little time to explore St. Andrews. We only had 2 hours (not 2.5 as listed in the tour description) and because of where the bus was parked, we barely had time to grab lunch, walk a bit, and pick up a couple of souvenirs. One or more of the other stops could have been eliminated and the last stop on the way back was entirely too long, nothing to see. That time could have been spent in St. Andrews.

Wonderful tour, with not too much time stuck on the van. My only complaint was that the seats are quite narrow and cramped. My husband is 6’4 and I’m 5’11 and my knees were aching and bruised by the time it was over. I think the front seats have more legroom, but they were taken.

We enjoyed our experience, although the weather wasn't really pleasant: four seasons in an hour. We found a nice bakery in the village of Anstruther (our first stop) just in front of the harbour, and also spent great time in St Andrews, being particularly happy for having 3 hours there. Our guide Grant did a fantastic job, told us many stories from Scotland's past and present, and also shared some entertaining facts from his life. Cudos to Grant! We're kinda fans of Rabbies: it was our third time with the company and we'd never miss an opportunity to book another tour.
