    Stop: 60 minutes
Starting from the cafe bar at 10am, the guide will take you to the next floor to start the tour.  Discover the history of Irish whiskey and the Irish diet from as far back as early Christianity until Modern Day.  Each of the five rooms are themed and represent an era in Irish history. Go way back in time in the 'apothecary' and discover how whiskey, or as the Irish know it 'Uisce Beatha' (or water of life), came about. Moving on to the 'shebeen' room, learn about some quirky Irish traditions in the late 1800's and what the Irish ate at that time.   The next room, which is a Victorian style bar, represents more opulent times in Irish history. This was called the golden era of Irish whiskey. Moving to the next floor and the Renaissance room, discover the number of political events which led to the downfall of the whiskey industry in Ireland before its current revival. After 35 minutes of history, enjoy a 15-minute masterclass with a master taster and learn about the flavors and aromas of 3 Irish whiskeys from different distilleries.   At the end of the tasting, the guide will take the group back to the Cafe bar to enjoy a hearty brunch of Irish food representing the eras. Allow 25-30 minutes to enjoy brunch.

Excellent Tour
Enjoyable your, we went for premium which included an extra whiskey to taste and free glass to take home. Host was Fionn, really entertaining and littered with facts.

The Irish Whiskey Museum Rocks!!!
Mar 2020 • Couples
My wife and I booked our tasting tour online ahead of time. Wonderful experience and always great to learn more about my favorite drink, Irish Whiskey. Our guide Fionn was both knowledgeable and humorous. He had some nice recommendations and you can get a good bottle or two at museum as well. Well worth it!!

Amazing guide
Feb 2020 • Friends
This is the second time I've done the tour but today my brother and I went for the brunch tour with our partners and our guide Grace really made the tour so much better, she made us feel not like customers but friends by sharing not only the irish history but her own family history of whiskey that really drew us in to the experience, my only problem is we didn't know when we werto upgrade to the premium tasting with the additional tasting so we missed out on that

Thank you very much for coming to visit us again and taking the time to leave your review 👌 We really appreciate the feedback. We don't promote the Premium experience on our brunch tour as its at 10 am but it is definitely an option and can be asked for on arrival if ever you are to come back again😉 I'm delighted that you enjoyed your experience with the amazing Grace. She will be thrilled 😀 Slainte 🥃

Our guide Fionn was perfect, he spoke with a passion, I loved it, he has a real talent to spoke in front of the people,
I found the museum small, not enough attractions, instead of explaining how to do whiskey I would like to do some animations, be a part of making whiskey,
but in general it is worth to see
thanks Fionn!
