Climb aboard your cruise boat near the historic center of Bordeaux for a trip along the Garonne River, one of the longest rivers in the country. Take the welcome apéritif as you board, to sip as you settle in and await the start of the cruise.
The Garonne River cuts through Bordeaux as well as much of the famous wine region that surrounds the city, making it a particularly scenic waterway. During your 3-hour cruise, you'll see the sights of Bordeaux illuminated against the night sky – Quai Richelieu, Place de la Bourse, Pont du Pierre, the Port of Bassens and the Basilica of St Michael among them. The boat turns around at the Château Grattequina for the return journey.
As you watch the beautiful scenery drift past, dine in style on a 3-course meal. The menu changes along with the seasons, so you can expect the chefs will be using the freshest local ingredients as they prepare each dish on board the boat. Drinks are available for purchase on board (own expense). See the Itinerary section below for a sample menu.
At the conclusion of your cruise, your boat returns to its starting point.
