2 days of Champagne tours
Oct 2019
Company does a great job of organizing and delivering you to all the major Champagne houses. After walking to the train station to meet our driver, he took us to various houses you then go on a large group tour performed by each house, followed by a tasting. We went to 4 large houses, where each 1-2 hour tour was mostly the same, with some minor historical nuances. The highlight for me was seeing the vineyards, and the co-op smaller family owned Houses, especially "Salmon" where we were escorted by the founders Granddaughter, and were delighted to enjoy her grandfathers company at the tasting portion. Also enjoyed a gourmet lunch at another small "house" whose name escapes me..Bottom line- A good time was had by all, by the end I think I knew enough to start my own brand!

Great history and tour
Had a great tour with Dorothee. She picked us up at our hotel in very nice Mercedes minivan. Toured cathedrale and taught us history of region before going to Veuve Clicquot. Had a 45 minute tour there in the chalk quarry cellars and history with a two champagne tasting before heading to lunch with Elizabeth at a small family winemaker Dominique Foureur . Delicious lunch of vegetables and accommodated to our needs(father is vegetarian). Delicious and informative lunch before heading to Godme winery with Sabine. Toured the cellars and saw behind the scenes of winemaking. Very informative and delicious tour. Dorothee was extremely knowledgeable and answered many questions we had about the region and the champagne making process. Lunch was fantastic and would highly recommend this day long tour. August was a great time of year to be there as it is before the super busy harvest season.

Absolutely bubbly amazing day out
Aug 2019
My husband and I booked this tour as part of our 1st wedding anniversary celebration and we had an absolutely amazing day out. As we were staying outside of Reims the company arranged a private taxi to pick us up and bring us back to our hotel after the tour. We were met at Reims station by our guide Julien who was very friendly yet professional and very knowledgeable about Champagne and the city of Reims.
Our first stop was at Veuve Cliquot and we throughly enjoyed the tour and the tastings, highly recommend the 2008 vintage. The tour lasted 45 minutes and we were given plenty of time for tastings and it was not at all rushed. We visited Dom Cuadron where a delicious lunch was provided with the champagne pairings and in the afternoon we went to Didier Chopin where we were lucky enough to see 2 bottles being disgorged.

This tour was an amazingly fun experience and well worth the money. The company are brilliant and we would recommend anyone visiting champagne to use this company.
Thank you Julien and the France Bubbles Team.

Amazing tour of Reims and three champagne houses!
Jun 2019 • Friends
We loved our full-day tour of Reims that including three very different champagne experiences. What made this even more special was the comprehensive guidance and friendly personality of our tour guide, Melanie. Not only did she know a lot of information on Reims and champagne, she was also very accommodating to all our needs.
First, we started a Veuve Clicquot and learned the history of one of France's oldest champagne houses. This included a tasting of the yellow label and the rose. Next, we toured the main cathedral of Reims, which was very impressive, and Melanie filled us in on the architecture and stained-glass windows. The second champagne house (and our favorite) was a small family-owned grand cru house. The winemaker-host-cook made us a home-cooked meal and allowed us to liberally try all of their champagnes, from bland-to-blanc to their rose. Lastly, we visited a medium-sized winery and got a very hands-on tour of the fermentation and corking processes. I recommend this tour highly.

Beyond Amazing!
Feb 2019 • Friends
One of my bucket items has always been to drink Champagne in Champagne! WOW France Bubbles Tour did not disappoint! From Andréa helping me organize and figure out the best way to plan the day to Raphael, our guide, showing us around Reims and the Champagne houses; everything was beyond what I expected! Andréa was so kind and helpful with planning as well as prompt. Raphael was wonderful!! His knowledge of the area and the Champagne process allowed us to understand as well as appreciate the amazing history and the grand culture of enjoying Champagne! Our driver was very kind and kept us safe and warm; while driving around the picturesque countryside! Words can not describe how wonderful everything was during the day! The three Champagne houses were divine and everyone who we shared the day with were so kind and friendly! I can not wait to go back!! Mercie beaucoup for the amazing experience!!

Very informative
Sep 2018 • Friends
We had Raphael as our guide, he was very knowledgeable and passionate about champagne. We were driven from our hotel in Reims to see three different places which specialised in the three different grapes. I cannot remember the name of the first one, but the guide was new and didn't know the answers to many of our questions. She also could not get a key to let some members of our party use the toilet so Raphael took us to a nearby cafe. We had lunch at Dom Caudron, which was a very enjoyable lunch but in a strange situation inside the shop. We sampled nine champagnes in all. We had a fun day, but we came away feeling like it was an expensive day and spent quite a lot of time in the minibus.

What more could you want!
We had a relaxing day being driven around Reims with our friends by Dorothee. We sat back and enjoyed the scenery and the considerable information Dorothee had to share. The champagne tasting and tours at the different wineries was beyond my expectation. I’d highly recommend this tour.

Great If You Don't Have Time To Do Your Own Planning Or Don't Speak French
Nov 2017 • Solo
I was in Germany on business and suddenly had a free weekend to go where I wanted. Where else to go but Champagne?

The problem was that I had not done any planning. And someone with a plan is fairly important so that you don't waste precious time on things that turn out.

Based on the excellent reviews on tripadvisor.com, I booked this tour and it was money well spent.

Amanda was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The 5 other members of the tour group were great to be around.

More importantly, I didn't have to worry about reservations, buying tickets, parking!, not being understood by the locals, etc.

I hope to use France Bubbles again when my wife and I return to France next year.
