    Pere-Lachaise Cemetery
Stop: 2 hours - Admission included
Your rendez-vous with Paris’ famous dead begins in the morning at Alexandre Dumas metro station. Meet your english-speaking guide and stroll into Père Lachaise Cemetery, the city’s most visited graveyard. Spanning 110 acres (44 hectares), this cemetery houses hundreds of thousands of the city’s famous and infamous dead in tombs of varying extravagance. Hear about some of the site’s famous artists, musicians and writers that rest here such as Edith Piaf, Molière, Chopin, Proust, Delacroix, Jim Morrison and Oscar Wilde. Wander through the labyrinth of graves and along stony paths to visit tombs accented in eccentricity and distinction. As you experience the haunting magnificence of the cemetery, you’ll learn tragic histories of lovers like Heloïse and Abelard – united in a single tomb in the 1817 after centuries apart – and forward-thinking women like writers Gertrude Stein and Collette. Your 2-hour tour concludes at Porte du Rèpos near the Philippe Auguste metro stop.

    Nice trip outside of Paris
The castles were beautiful, wine tasting was great and our guide tour was very nice. I would change arrival time to the town to when the shops are open. I also think the cost is a bit too high

    Beautiful castles in France
The tour guide gave interesting facts about the history of the visited castles. However, the time spent in each castle is short. The castles are amazing so it is worth the visit.

Wonderful day in the Loire Valley!
Fantastic day in the Val de Loire! Enjoyed seeing two great chateaux. We made lunch reservations in Blois ahead of time which worked out great. Appreciated the adherence to the schedule with good communication about where/when to meet along the way. Definitely recommend!

    Louvre major items tour
Florence was a very good tour guide whose information illuminated some of the Louvre’s major items. Some of the Louvre’s galleries were quite crowded, but the earpiece communications were clear throughout.

    Amazing tour of versailles
We just finished out tour with Blerta and it was amazing. She was super informative and knowledgeable and genuinely interested in the palace herself. She did an amazing job at navigating crowds so they we could see and hear everything. Strongly suggest doing this tour!!!

    Guided tour of Versailles
Blerta was a fantastic tour guide. She spoke clearly, great tone and pacing. Even though Versailles was extremely crowded, she never lost her cool and composure.

    Never say never
To climb the Eiffel Tower by the stairs looked like an impossible mission. But our guide Kateryna took care of us and taught us about the history and curious facts of the Eiffel Tower. Task accomplished.

    Disappointing
Our guide was great and a nice group of people. However, this wasn’t really ‘gourmet’ food, with the exception of the macaron and cake at the end. We had croissant/pain au chocolat, a tiny cheese and ham sandwich, then more cheese, followed by more cheese, charcuterie and a slice of croque monsieur. ALOT of cheese and ham!! Felt it was all very safe, gourmet would have been more unusual foods that France is known for, escargot, grenouilles, etc. Disappointing.

The overall experience is a reminder of what we went thru ti defeat the axis powers. Our Guide Brun (From Brie) took it to a different level She was witty, extremely knowledgeable and not afraid to offer her family’s part in World War II

We took this tour with an absolutely wonderful guide, Maryem. She is a teacher of history as well as a guide. Maryem was kind, entertaining, very friendly and did a fantastic tour full of great stories and histories. We really felt lucky we selected this tour and can highly recommend it! Ask for Maryem!

The tour started very slowly (after 45 minutes we had seen two graves), but was unfortunately spoiled by the guide‘s almost total ignorance of Oscar Wilde, who was not presented to us respectfully and was spoken about very negatively. Saying that he „decided“ to become homosexual is highly unlikely to be true.
Furthermore, her lazy use of one quote to „prove“ that he was a misogynist shows a fundamental lack of understanding of the highly satirical nature of his works and his attempts to shine a light on the double standards of the day. And she got the name of the only play she mentioned wrong…

I'd been looking forward to seeing this interesting cemetery and wasn't disappointed, although I could have spent all day here. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting and allowed us to explore without being too rushed. Highly recommended.

Kritika was a great tour guide of the cemetery, with plenty of interesting facts about the most famous graves. It was well paced and took just under two hours, finishing near a different entrance to the cemetery and by some toilet facilities.

The only downside was that despite the tour being in English, several members of the group were French and didn't speak English, so it made the atmosphere a bit awkward. Perhaps it needs to be clearer when booking on the French website that it's an English language tour.

Really interesting. Kritika did a fabulous job! We visited all of the most famous graves and she gave an insightful and interesting commentary throughout the tour. But also shoutout to Becky who was meant to be our guide yesterday when the cemetery was closed due to the weather. She was lovely and so friendly and helpful, making sure we were re-booked on another tour and working out our Metro route to another destination. Would recommend this tour to everyone.

Great excursion on our 4th trip to Paris. Our guide, Rachel, was very well informed about French history and each grave we visited. We saw the most famous sites and she took us to a couple of others that we requested. We appreciated her ability to navigate the cemetery since it would be easy to get lost. This affordable tour was worth every dollar and a highlight of our trip.

Best tour in Paris by far. Our tour guide Hamish was charismatic, enlightening and most of all ever so informative. I Honestly would have stayed all day listening to him. You get to see most of the famous graves in Pere Lachaise, a few we looked up ourselves and were easy to find. Really worth the money!

Loved the tour with Becky! Knows her history very well. Learned a lot. There are so many famous people buried here and you cannot take it all in during one trip. Great way to see some of the highlights. Highly recommended!

This is one of my trip highlights in Paris. Maryem was fantastic. She's a history teacher, so we're in good hands. I love how passionately she explained every personality in the cemetery and the fight for equality spirit she brought in her explanations. Tour lasted more than 2 hrs, she said it's her longest, but I enjoyed it very much it didn't feel long! Explored Piaf's, Morrison's, Wilde's, and some new great names that I didn't know but now I do. Thanks to Maryem!

Père Lachaise cemetery was brought to life by the stories of its occupants. Who knew it was also a park with art and sculptures? Our tour guide, Becky, gave us history, told us legends and played music of Chopin and Jim Morrison at their gravesides. I definitely recommend this tour.
