This was a great tour of every major part of old Berlin and we learned a lot about the fascinating history of Berlin. Our guide Tom had fascinating details about the reasons the architecture and art were designed the way they were. As Tom said “Germans have a reason behind everything they do”. I highly recommend this tour.

So glad we did this tour as soon as we arrived in Berlin for the first time with our family of 5 including 3 teenagers. Maria was knowledgeable and personable and knew her stuff. Highly recommend Maria and this tour. Very few tourists in Berlin right now so we had the main sites to ourselves. We loved Berlin. Maria met us at our hotel (Regent Hotel) so it was easy to walk to everything from there.

Martin led us on a 4 hours tour earlier this week. He was one of the best tour guides that we have ever had (and we do a lot of traveling). Knowledgeable, smart, engaging and informative. Such a pleasure to be led by someone who is so good at their job.

Booked a morning private tour and Michael turned up on time armed with an itinerary specifically for us (I had been in Berlin in 1963 and heard JKF).
Michael was extremely knowledgeable and made the four hours interesting and go by in a flash.
Although this was an expensive way of seeing the city I would highly recommend the tour.

Thank you for choosing Insider Tour. It must have been a totally different experience for you to come back and see how Berlin has changed since the 60s! It's incredible you got to hear JFK and actually be a part of Berlin's fascinating history! I'm sure Michael enjoyed your tour just as much as you enjoyed his!

We took the Berlin Main tour, lead by the wonderful Maria. Although the day started with a little drizzle, it quickly cleared up. Maria is smart, funny, and knows the city inside out, we learned for more than any guide book could give you. Indeed we enjoyed it so much we walked big elements of the tour again the next day at a slower pace to allow for photos, shop visits and a better look. An absolute bargain for 4 plus hours of interesting walking, with people from all around the world.

It was soooooo amazing guys. You have to experience the Brian Deedrick tour of Berlin. He is the most amazing storyteller and his profound understanding of people, politics, culture, arts brings history all together. He had us all laughing and crying along the way. Lots of insightful and tearful moments remembering the horrors of the Holocaust, the Fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and many key moments in German history.

As a former travel agent, I know a guide can make or break your impression of a city. Yan exceeded our expectations. On our first day, Yan gave us an overview of the city making Berlin come alive both factually and anecdotally. The second day was devoted to the Third Reich and the War, as it’s a particular interest of my husband. Yan is unique as he is able to delve into as much of the minutiae as a client requests . My husband learned a great deal and even though I am not an historian, I was riveted to Yan’s explanations, I would also like to note that the company represented by Sophie Banks was extremely reliable and a pleasure to work with from the States. Yan was one of the best guides we have ever had,

I went on this tour and I highly recommend it! it was very interesting, and it made my whole visit in Berlin much more meaningful. Eran was my tour guide and he was wonderful! He knows so much about the city and it’s history, he gave us recommendations of must see places and was very patient and professional! Take this tour and you wouldn’t regret it.

We took this tour on our second day in Berlin with our guide Maria. Her knowledge of Berlin and it’s history is amazing and we saw all the major sights in one day. We were shown more than we expected and I think this tour is very good value if you like walking and want to make the most of your time in Berlin.

Ciaran was our guide and a very good guide he was too. Very well informed, very friendly and highly entertaining.
If you want a good insight into what Berlin has to offer then book this tour. It's four hours long but there's a break in the middle for something to eat and/or drink. The time sped by.

Hi, We are taking the train in from the cruise port Warnemunde to Berlin dbf. Would we be able to picked up and dropped off there after the tour? Our train leaves to go back at 17:35. There will be 2 people
