- shannon1510350 contributionsOUTSTANDINGAmazing!! I visited for a family holiday and we did the 5D experience…it was amazing. The man who was running it at the time (this morning/afternoon) was amazing and fun and kind and extremely enthusiastic and he made the experience really enjoyable!!🩷 Would definitely visit again! Outstanding service 🥰Written 18 February 2024

- F6245OXchrisb0 contributionsStuck behind the automatic trabbi with a bad driverThe policy to put the automatic e- Trabbi first behind the guide means chances are the driving experience for all cars following behind will be less than fun. It is unlikely that people who book an automatic trabbi are in for the driving experience and therefore spoil it for the others. Very expensive for a very, very slow drive following a terrible driver.Written 6 May 2023
- Ian H0 contributionsAbsolute highlight of our weekend.Fantastic fun and informative way to learn a bit of history. Thomas our guide was fantastic although how he kept the convoy together I’ll never know! I only wish they did other tours as would like to go again. Maybe I’ll have to visit Dresden!Written 31 December 2022
- LiamS5750 contributionsFantastiche! My partner and I had an amazing time, something I always wanted to do! The tour was excellent, our guide, the nicest and funniest you could hope for! We had the XXL tour which meant that we eneded up getting the last half to ourselves which was a nice treat. The cars aren't the easiest but you soon get used to them, even with the 'simulator' beforehand. Absolutely loved it and was a highlight to drive around the city and past many landmarks & monuments. An absolute must while you are here, & be sure to buy a mini version of your Trabant!Written 22 December 2022
- karenwF5763HJ0 contributionsGreat funGreat fun & very funny commentary We learned a lot too. Quite an experience to drive !!! The reception on the commentary could have been a bit clearer but we were in a Trabi!!Written 31 October 2022
- L8626UXdouglass0 contributionsA huge fun laugh a minute authentic informative ExperienceThe best fun you can have on so many layers. the driving experience is fun , viseral and be prepared to wave at the camera wielding tourists as you parade thro some of the best , unusual, and secret places in Berlin. Highly informative guide, friendly, and attentive, no 9ne gets left. Learnt so much on so many levels, but overall we just laughed and laughed with fun from start to finosh. Hugely memorable time, highly recommendWritten 4 October 2022

- BronteBucket0 contributionsIconic wheels for an iconic City!!My husband’s choice as we always do something transport related on our trips! We arrived at TrabiWorld and had a good briefing about these old Trabant cars. The pick-up area was fun of multi-coloured cara which look great but they are really small and not very roomy at all for a family of 4 (2 teenagers) however we squeezed in and off we went. We did the 2 hour follow the wall tour but there is a shorter one which might have been better in the 37 degree heat (we didn’t know this when we booked it)! The Safari did a one hour loop and then dropped off those on the shorter tour back at base camp. Clutch control was tricky but my husband really enjoyed the ride around the City in these iconic cars.Written 4 August 2022
- Thorpeebda0 contributionsWould recommend!Great fun. Would highly recommend. Cars are good fun to drive and the running commentary is really good. You can squeeze a family of 4 in a car.Written 28 July 2022
- Q9578ZFjustinc0 contributionsMay 22 Trabi TourMy old school friend and i were a little late turning up to the group Tour however the owner/manager Axel was kind enough to take us on a tour by himself. Much appreciate his flexibility and much enjoyed the trip around both West & East Berlin - all while figuring out the Trabi gears, brakes, and what to do with a whole 26 horsepower! An excellent way to explore Berlin, highly recommended - 5 stars from us! Justin & Phil.Written 3 June 2022
- 264lloyds0 contributionsBrilliant 2 hour trabi drive!Really enjoyed the 2 hour Trabi driving!! Took a few mins to get used to car and the gears but no big problems! Roads were quiet as it was a Sunday - thankfully! The organiser drove his car at front of our 5 car convoy and was really good at making sure we all stayed together - stopping after red lights to enable the convoy to catch up. It was great that we had a 10 min break half way round as we could swap over the drivingWritten 30 May 2022
- Almostgreynomad0 contributionsJust do it !!Brilliant experience !! Thoroughly recommend. We went on the XXL (long) tour. Two and half hours ..... Our guide Henrick (? sp) .... was hilarious .... we spent lots of the two hours laughing !! Guide gives a commentary over the 'radio'. He gave an 'official commentary' ... with lots of personal comments - hilarious !! OK .... maybe some of the laughing was nerves .... navigating Berlin traffic, whilst jostling gears & pedals, while on (for us) 'wrong side of road' ..... what could go wrong ? You become a 'tourist attraction' !! We were in a 'hot pink Trabi' .... as part of a small convoy ... lots of people took pictures / waved .... it was loads of fun ! Great way to see the sights and experience a part of Berlin's history.Written 7 May 2022

Tomas was great - a fabulous guide and superb leader.
I drove the trabi with no problem and saw every sight and gained valuable insight.
The whole experience was brilliant- unique I got the hang of the gear box in a few minutes on the trial boxes and felt safe and supported throughout- this was a real highlight of our trip

What an amazing experience to drive one of these iconic wee cars. We were able to do the tour with our guide giving English commentary. The sound and smell of 2 stroke brings back memories of growing up, FAB. The tour lasts just over and hour and takes you round the main sights of central Berlin. You also become a tourist attraction as well driving these.

Absolutely AMAZING. The HIGLIGHT of my trip to Berlin. Gave myself and my son an amazing experience of sights around Berlin, without the hours of walking from one place to another. The cars can be a bit tricky, but after a few minutes they're no bother. Our guide Leonard was amazing, so knowledgeable and very funny. Would 100% recommend a visit to anyone travelling to Berlin!!

The cars were fun to drive, if you're into old cars. The shift pattern is unusual, and the smell of 2 stroke oil is unmistakable. The guide's English was good and he had a sense of humor. Try to be close to the front of the caravan, because the Berlin traffic can be difficult. Tail end Charlie will constantly be a traffic signal or two behind. Everyone on the street seems to love to see the Trabis driving around.

What a fabulous experience. How many people can say they drove a trabi through the streets of Berlin. This was so much fun and the best tour we’ve don’t in a long time. A must do while in Berlin (as long as you can drive a manual transmission).

This tour really made my day. I was laughing the whole tour.
For me, the experience was not the historic tour itself, but driving around Berlin on a Trabant.
You will not miss this.
When you get your ticket, they have a gearshift simulator to learn how to shift gear. Hilarious 🤣
The guide drive first in the row with 6 Travis and tell you where to drive and also give you the tour around Berlin. The guide was fantastic and guided us with a great amount of humor.
The car was quite easy to drive and so funny. One of my funniest driving experiences.
For sure I’m coming back.

This was a fun and memorable experience that I would recommend. However, it's not easy getting to grips with driving the car and I felt like the support at the start was lacking and the woman slightly impatient with me. Because of the concentration required, I didn't take very much of the commentary or scenery in so I would say this is more of an experience than a tour. It was also quite hard to understand the guide over the radio at times.

What a fantastic time we had driving around Berlin. Guide was fantastic and made you feel at ease. Stopped and waited for everyone to catch up so nobody was left out. Thoroughly recommend- if you’re brave enough to handle the trabant’s gears!

Hysterical experience and my kids couldn’t believe it was really a car that people used and even waited ten years for! The fumes brought back memories of garden machinery and mopeds and the entire attack on the senses didn’t end there. Our guides were aware of how ridiculous the whole thing is and had their tongues firmly planted in their cheeks all the way from arrival all the way through to the commentary which was delivered at volume into the car as we drove in convoy around Berlin.
I thoroughly recommend this as a fun experience and don’t just leave the driving to your other half. Have a go as my Wife did. We didn’t stop laughing for ages and my Son now wants to buy a Trabant for the UK!

Hello, I am expecting to book for the Birthday of my wife (2 persons in the car only). Does the price (59€ per pax) is for 4 persons in the car, or 2 persons in the car ? Thanks for your feedback. Jean

I would definitely say so - I drive a manual and have done for many years but even I found this a challenge - I got used to it, but its a push pull lever arrangment rather than a gated box. Also the worst clutch I have ever used in my life.
Prepare to stall. Often..
But... That's all part of the fun - go for it!
We have booked for September but our holiday has been cancelled by the airline. Can we get a refund or a credit for a future date?
