Overview

Spare yourself the hassle of organizing transport and tickets on a stress-free day trip to Granada from Seville. As well as convenient round-trip transportation from your Seville hotel, this day trip includes skip-the-line entry to the Alhambra, which sells out months in advance, along with a guided tour. Upgrade to include a walking tour of the Albaicin quarter, a must-see area of Granada.

What to Expect

Your tour begins with pickup from your Seville hotel, where you’ll board an air-conditioned minivan destined for Granada. During the journey through Andalucia’s countryside, receive an overview of Granada’s history from your guide.

On arrival at the Alhambra, you’ll bypass long lines outside of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, and head straight inside for a guided tour. Marvel at highlights such as the Alcazaba, Nasrid Palace, Generalife Gardens, and Palace of Charles V, and listen to commentary crucial to understanding the landmark’s history.

Following the tour, travel to the center of Granada to purchase lunch (own expense). If you’ve upgraded to include the Albaicin walking tour, spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the UNESCO-listed district.

This guided tour concludes with drop-off back at your Seville hotel.

Beautiful Alhambra, but the tour is overpriced..

On hindsight, we should have planned to stay a night or two at Granada. But as that was not possible, we decided to take this tour to visit Alhambra. We took a couple of more tours during our 2 week holiday in Spain, one each...More

Only for the very determined

The four stars are for the company organising the tour - very well run. I would seriously encourage travellers to really think carefully about such a long trip. Many factors are beyond the control of the organisers, especially timing and quality of Alhambra guides. Go...More

Andalsur – Experience and Efficiency

We traveled as a group of friends from Seville to Granada with Andalsur to see the Alhambra. As we only had a few days in southern Spain it made sense (to us) to make this a day trip from Seville. After extensive research we decided...More

Worth the visit!

Booked the tour since I didn't get the Alhambra ticket in advance. Everything was pretty much as the description says, and I was lucky enough to be in a punctual group--we were almost always on time (so basically no time wasted), and arrived back at...More

must see and experience

This is worth every euro, something that is unique in terms of historical differences when Islamic and Catholic architecture merge together... The guide was very skilled and lot of information shared with Family (the group).

Our tour operator was Andulsur. We met at their office very near the Cathedral and then walked about 3-4 blocks to board the bus. They did make pickups at other locations along the way.

Agree with the others. On our trip one person was ALWAYS late consequently we arrived back late in Seville. Either rent a car, the route is straightforward or stay overnight and travel by bus.

Good morning. We were allowed to keep small bags on the bus during all of our touring. The driver stayed with the bus all day. However, because you might have luggage, I would recommend calling the local tour company and... More
