Travelers that want to experience two of Seville's most popular sights—the Real Alcazar, and the Catedral de Sevilla—can expect to wait in line, since these must-see attractions top many itineraries. Fortunately, you can avoid the hassle with this skip-the-line tour. My wife and I pleasantly booked via the hop on hop off bus that we had tickets for two days to see the city and what it had to offer, decided to visit the Cathedral with a privately guided tour. We where lucky to have "landed" on Alicia, who professionally guided the six of us in all on an English detailed one and half full hour tour of the Cathedral, its history and developments that took place over the centuries to date. The location is surely a must see that you cannot miss whole in Seville. Having Alicia as your guide will ensure you will smoothly enjoy it even more. Highly recommended.

Great tour. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable. She clearly had multiple degrees on the subject matter and was able to give detailed information. She was able to answer every question we had and was very personable. Really recommend!

Melissa was one of the best tour guides I ever had. She is very knowledgeable, funny and kind. We learned so much about Seville through her. She took the time to explain all the details and answered all our questions. The tour was in Spanish but she also does it in English. We had a great time. Thank you Melissa!!

We really enjoyed the tour. We were lucky that we were a small group so didn’t really need the blue tooth ear pieces, although they were useful if we wanted to drift off a little to take a photo. Melissa was so enthusiastic, informative and engaging. She made the tour lots of fun and clearly loves what she does!

Today we went on the Seville monumental tour and we were lucky to have Melissa as our guide. A fantastic guide providing tons of information and details. With a lot of humour as well. And also important: in really excellent English. It turned out to be the best guided tour ever. Visitours seem to be very well organised as well, so picking up extra people in the middle of the tour went smoothly. This tour is absolute value for your money. My advice: try to figure out when Melissa can be your guide!

I’m a 45 year old globe trotter who has traveled nearly every continent and more than 60 countries. This was the worst tour I have ever been on, ever and anywhere. Our guide Melissa was a charming sweetheart, but she was set up to fail.

Our English speaking group was 32 people large (50 including the Spanish group). Though our tour was booked to start at 10:45am (with warnings to arrive promptly), our group did not physically enter the Alcazar until 12:45pm. This is because the tour company did not book fast track tickets for us to enter until 12:30pm (probably due to our large group size!). It took 15 min to force our way into the Alcazar, so our entry was in fact 2 hours after the advertised tour start time.

Unfortunately no one was advised about our delayed entry until 90 minutes into the “tour” during which time we merely walked down 2 narrow allies, peered into 2 patios, and stopped in front of a perfume shop.

By the time our group finally entered the Alcazar (by forcing our way through a massive crowd of regular entrants), it was all our guide Melissa could do but herd us together. No meaningful guiding or information could be provided since she was constantly trouble shooting and searching for lost group members.

It was 1:45pm by the time we managed to enter the Seville cathedral , by which time we had to leave the group for another pre-booked activity. At least 3 families left the group when we did since otherwise we would miss our pre-planned afternoon activities. Thus, we paid for 2 monuments and a walking tour and basically were herded through 1 monument and a crowded alley between 10:35-1:45pm.

This is an absolute sham operation. We were not advised of delays, not provided any drinks while waiting around for hours, our group well beyond reasonable numbers, and we were not provided much guiding or info about these spectacular UNESCO sites.

Save your money and either book another smaller tour operator or enter on your own. The concept of fast track is not respected by this company and you are better off staying at home.

Essentially we felt pick-pocketed by this company and I would have reported our experience but we chose not to waste one more second thinking about this miserable experience.

We feel really sad everytime one of our customers is not happy with our tours. We want to explain our groups are limited to a maximum of 30 people. The main reason is Alcazar organization never allows bigger groups inside. We buy tickets before tour itself, not at the entrance, that way the only waiting is the one the Alcazar personal creates controling the access to the building. We will check if that day happened something different, and if so... the reasons for that.

The queues for these places are enormous and you will be able to skip waiting time plus the benefit of a guide with head sets which makes following simpler. Very good guide Melissa. Recommended. Only complaint is that the departure time of 10.45 was not respected and guides arrived at 11.00 and we left at 11.15.

Dear visitor, We are happy to know that you enjoyed the tour with our company and Melissa. We may have had some delay on this day because of the number of participating or some people arriving late at the meeting point. We give the 10:45h meeting time we are starting with all the group prepared at 11:00h. Thank you for comenting, we hope to see you soon.

FYI for anyone that does this tour. It begins at 10.45am. Unfortunately this wasn’t communicated to us and we missed the tour.

Viator have offered a partial refund and apparently have contacted the supplier to refund the other half.
The long and short of this is on the day we had dedicated to the cathedral and Alcazar (our only day) we spent 40 mins on the phone trying to get to the bottom of our issue and then requesting a refund. Which despite the error not being ours is not being done. Viator are a TripAdvisor company so I would have thought they would handle this a lot lot better than they have. So beware when booking!

Dear visitor, We are surprised to read your comment, we don´t understand what could have happened and feel very sorry that you could not attend the tour. The meeting point and time is well indicated on the description of the tour and on your voucher. In this case, you can call our company Visitours anytime, we have a 24h phone to answer any doubts and as we are the supplier we can solve all the details directly. Best regards.

We loved very much the sites we visited. However, we had a guide that was all over the place during the entire tour. She had to jump in and replace the person coordinating all the tours as she was sick that day. Because of that, we started the tour with a delay, we were often loosing her as she was discussing with other guides and last but not least we had useless ear kits. Not only we could not properly fix them on the ear, but there was such a huge noice inside that we could hardly hear what the guide was saying. We removed them completely and only benefited from part of the guide's explanations. Apart from that, we could still enjoy the wonderful monuments!

Dear Concetta We are so sorry to read this comment about how were your experience. We are afraid that day our guide didn't feel well and you lost time when we send a new guide to replace him. About the problem with the headphones we dont know what coulded happend with them because we use the best audio systems in the market. We hope that you can return to realise a tour with us around Andalucia
