About
On this trekking tour you will hike Caminito del Rey (King's Little Pathway), a narrow-gauge service railroad that was built for workers to get to El Chorro hydro-electric plant. With a rich history, this pass was the only railroad access to Malaga from the inner cities of Andalucia. Once known as ´the most dangerous hike in the world´, this experience is one to excite your senses as you discover The Gorge Desfiladero de los Gaitanes. The Caminito del Rey has been fully renovated and is safe and ready to accommodate our small group on this amazing pathway. You will be accompanied by a guide who will help you along the way. This excursion includes round-trip transportation from Seville.

Great experience
Aug 2020
I participated in the Tour with the guide Miguel and I loved it. The experience itself is breathtaking, it is very worth it for the magnitude of the place. Miguel did a great job, both explaining the historical context of the place at the beginning and during the tour. In Covid's time, both naturanda and the local entity ensured all the required safety standards. I strongly recommend it.

Trip Caminito del Rey
Great experience very well organized by Naturanda. Pablo drove us from Sevilla to the Caminito, and took us back to our hotel. He is a great guy, very professional. We did the Caminito with a group of 20p. The guide Carlos did all the explanations in Spanish and English. Perfect trip: we leave the hotel at 8.15 en we came back at 18.00. Do not hesitate!

Great experience and Peter adjusted the trip so I could catch a bus to Ronda instead of coming back to Seville. I really appreciated his efforts to make this happen. Naturanda turismo office found the bus option for me: thanks to you too! Caminito del Rey is stunning! Worth the trip

THRILLING!!
Oct 2019
This experience was unbelievable! The Caminito Del Ray was absolutely amazing. This was on my bucket list and the experience was totally worth it.

Naturanda arranged everything and it made the experience so seamless! The bus we took was brand new and very clean. When we arrived there was a short time to get a coffee and snacks before we started the Caminito. Our group was only 9 people so that made the experience so much more enjoyable. There was a group in of 50+ in front of us and we were counting our blessings.

The Caminito was spectacular! the views were unbelievable and the new pathway felt safe and easy to trek. The mountains and rivers made the landscape look like an oil painting. It was so cool to learn about the history and our guide was very knowledgable in both the Caminito, flora and fauna of the land.

Overall and wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend it too anyone.

Spectacular once in a lifetime hike but the crowds!
Oct 2019
We went from Seville so it ended up being a 10+ hour day with the bus ride being not that interesting and the crowds were unbelievable. Probably 250 people jostling for position at the start.
However, the hike itself is spectacular and a once in a lifetime experience. Would suggest getting there from somewhere closer like Malaga or Ronda and going as early as possible.

Incredible and Unique Views!
Oct 2019
Caminito del Rey is an absolute gem! The views are stunning and the history of the old path is incredibly interesting. It is indeed a very safe walk now and I would say that it is accessible to most people regardless of age or ability. Our tour guide, Reyes, was especially wonderful and knowledgable. We had one small hold up in which our driver thought we were going to Ronda and we had to turn around. This set us back about half an hour. Since the park only allows a certain number of people to be on the path at a time, we had to wait an additional ~1.5 hours to start the walk after arriving. The park staff didn't want to admit us at all, but Reyes fought for us and made it happen! The transportation was nicer than I expected. It was a very nice van (not a mom-style minivan like I expected). It was clean and spacious and I felt very safe. The lunch at the end was not too great and the service was slow so I would recommend bringing your own lunch/snacks. This was a great tour overall, especially for a solo woman traveler. I would recommend it!

Amazing daytrip!
Sep 2019
Took off in the morning for a 2-hour drive, time to take a nap. Our driver/guide pointed out some places of interest and little facts along the way. The hike itself was amazing, loved to see the views like that and also the history behind the first part of the hike. Unbelievable how nature created itself like that. We had a cloudy day with a little wind, which was very welcome. Once returned to the meeting place you can take lunch at the local restaurant, which we didn't, we chose to get a little downhill by the water to eat our sandwiches, it was an amazing view to take lunch like that.

Awesome tour guide and great trekking experience
Our guide Miguel is very friendly and passionate. He was on time to pick us up and there were only very few other stops to pick up other people (perk of small tour group). The Caminito del Rey is a very awesome place to visit if you love natural scenery and a bit of adventure. The trek takes around 2-3 hours to finish and the beautiful scenery along the way makes it worth every moment. The walking platforms are very stable and safe. Unless you are (very) terrified of height, I’ll definitely recommend this tour.
