Maria is the perfect host and guide
Mar 2020
Triana isn't part of Seville that a first time visitor would typically go to, so this tour was fun, informative and delicious. Teetotal and veggie members of our group of 8 were well looked after too. Big thanks to Maria.

Amazing Tapas Tour
Feb 2020 • Couples
Had a fantastic time on our Tapas tour on 27 Feb. Megan was a great guide. Lots of detail around the history of Tapas, Triana and Seville. Our group was great fun - a mix of Americans and Scots!!! Would highly recommend.

Hola Julie! Thanks for the great review of your time on tour with Megan! She is certainly a passionate and knowledgable person to show you around Seville. I'm really glad to see how much you enjoyed exploring Triana; it is a super unique part of town and a great place to have an authentic local "tapeo". Thanks again and I hope you can join us on another Devour Tours experience in the future! Cheers!

OK but not cheap
Feb 2020 • Couples
We were recommended this trip, which lasted about 2 hours. Our guide Meghan was very friendly and informative but the tour didn’t quite work somehow.

We met as planned and went to a nice old tapas place that we revisited afterwards. A selection of Spanish meats (very good) and a strange bread with soup/cheese (not so tasty or popular) but traditional.

2nd stop was like a UK fish and chip shop. We had 2 or 3 small prawns each and I do mean small. We also had salt cod which was widely agreed to be inedible. Way to salty to taste the fish. No one enjoyed it or liked it. Apart from the taste it ruined the taste of the next stop a bit

3rd stop (Las Golondrinas) served fantastic pork escalope on bread. Fantastic. Accompanied by a plate of ‘sweet pickled’ carrots. Again we returned here the next day.

4th and final stop was a course of pig cheeks and one of spinach.

We had a beer or a glass of wine in each place. Price £67 each. Price doing it yourself (missing salt cod and pickled carrots) about £30.

We’ve been on other food tours and this one missed the mark in quality and price.

Hi Mark, Thanks for leaving us a review, we really appreciate you taking the time to give us your honest feedback. I'm glad to see you liked Megan and found her to be friendly and informative, and also that you really liked the cured Iberian pork products at our first stop and the grilled tendorloin from Las Golondrinas! It really is an absolute must-eat dish in Triana. I'm disappointed to see that you didn't find the experience to be a good value for money. We work really hard to price our tours fairly, and truly believe in the product that we are offering. You're totally right, our Tapas Like a Local Tour is more expensive than the average dinner in Seville, but for us, the tour value doesn't just lie in the food and wine that we provide. All of tours are led by trained professionals such as Megan, who come with a wealth of experience and local knowledge. We make sure to pay them a fair wage for their time, as well as to comply with all of our local tax obligations. As you also point out, you were lucky enough to revisit two of the stops from your tour with us. This is also part of the value of the tour! We dive into truly local and authentic tapas bars, and not only introduce our guests to places they would never be able to find by themselves, but also arm them with the knowledge of how to handle a typical Spanish tapas bar by themselves. I hope this explains the value behind our tour prices. If you are ever back in Seville, we would love to have a second chance at showing you a five-star time, so please let us know if you ever pass this way again. Cheers, and safe travels, David Pope, Assistant Operations Manager, Devour Seville.

Wonderful tapas tour
Feb 2020
Really wonderful tour with Megan! We visited several amazing tapas bars that I would not have found on my own. Plenty of food and drinks, we were stuffed by the end. Megan was very knowledgeable about Triana and the various tapas bars and was a very fun guide. Highly recommended.

Brilliant night out and great intro to eating and drinking in Seville
Our group of four joined the tour led by the lovely Elena who is super passionate about her home city and introduced us to a wide range of food and drinks. The evening was very well paced, informative and great fun. We also used the breakfast, bar and dinner recommendations in the tour handout and they were all great.
Thank you Elena!

A great way to eat our way through a neighborhood
Jan 2020
Our guide, Pablo M, did a fantastic job of introducing the Triana neighborhood to us. We enjoyed the 4 stops we made, and trying lots of foods that are special to Seville. We would definitely recommend this tour to visitors who want to experience 4 very unique tapas restaurants in a short amount of time (while not feeling rushed at all!)

Our 3rd Devour Tour!
Dec 2019
My husband and I did this food tour while on vacation in Seville. We highly-recommend this tour. We had a great host/guide in Marco who had a particularly extensive knowledge of the city and food. We loved the small group size which made it feel intimate like you were just hanging out with a bunch of friends. We also loved that the tour was in an off-the-beaten path neighborhood, which made the experience feel more local and less touristy. The tour included a great variety of both food and types of restaurants.

Triana tour
We took this tour as we usually do when we get to a new town. Megan was our guide and she took us to some really cool spots that we would not have probably ever gone to. It was early, so not overly crowded. Each place had a different vibe and we got a different drink and tapas at each one. I think some were able to pay for an extra drink. Definitely come hungry because there is plenty of food. They have option for vegetarians also. Megan is knowledgeable in wine and sherry, so we learned a lot about that and other things Seville. She handled a large group very well (9 people). I really enjoyed meeting new people and trying new things.

All around outstanding evening
Dec 2019
The Tapas Like a Local tour was outstanding. Irene was a great guide, making everyone comfortable and easily managing the flow of the small group. At each stop you'll have two tapas plus a beverage pairing. By the end of the evening, you'll have a good overview of the range of some of Seville's best tapas, and you'll be ready to dive into the crowded local tapas bars on your own. The pace of evening is lively - before you can think it's time to move on, you're back off to the next destination. While primarily food/wine, Irene also had lots of interesting information about the Triana neighbourhood. This is a strong RECOMMEND!

Hola! Thanks for writing us such a warm review of your time on tour with Irene. As a born-and-bred local, she's the perfect representative for our city! The pace of a classic tapas crawl really is electric—locals love visiting their favourite bars and getting all of their favourite dishes. I hope that Irene was able to teach you some of the tools of the trade and get you ready for dealing with Seville's tapas scene during the rest of your trip! Cheers!
