- 662stephaniey0 contributionsToo much time spent on bus, content and sites were not interesting or impressive.Too much time spent on bus, content and sites were not interesting or impressive. It was confusing with 4 different languages to cover. Botanical Garden was disappointing with most of plants and flowers can be seen through out the island. This was not really a guided tour since we were dropped off and to roam around without much suggestion or info. We do not recommend this tour.Written 3 October 2024
- I9754XEmichelles0 contributionsBest experience ever! This tour was absolutley amazing! Certainly a tick off your bucket list experience. Views were second to none and the tour guides (Vicky & Daniel) were fab! So helpful and informative. Made everyone feel comfortable 5*****Written 2 October 2024
- cameronb7030 contributionsShambolic and poorly organisedBooked the trip via Zerger on the coast, she explained that we would pay deposit and then we would pay the remainder there would be on a two hour boat trip picked up at 9:45 am and back for 1 pm When we arrived at 9:40 am to be picked up and then we were held in a chew for over an hour waiting to pay the remainder in 30° heat with no shade before entering onto a boat with no shade it’s ridiculous that you have to pay a small deposit and then I made to wait an hour at the bay is boiling heat with everybody struggling to pay the balance on their cards, this is a poor business model Then we were offered a free drink but the catch was you had to pay one euro for a cup and when you went to pay with your card they Internet was not working out to see and therefore they wouldn’t give you the free drink which was another Paul business model we saw some dolphins which were over 100 m away and you needed eyes like binoculars to see them, It took an hour and a half to get there and an hour and a half back we over an hour late getting back to the bay and then they expected us to sit on a bus which will take over an hour 20 minutes to drop us back to our destination Whilst they cater for the masses the business model is pathetic outdated and doesn’t represent good value for your experience The boat itself was amazing and the music was amazing, but the rest was just shambolic from start to finish I hope this realises that in the end they will lose customers who will get wise to these tacticsWritten 24 September 2024
- P6174WHhannaht0 contributionsLovely scenery but very rude tour guideWe were misinformed regarding the coach travel time. We were told it was a hour when in fact took just over two. Guide was rude and told us to be back at the coach in half an hour, however became very irate with passengers after only 22 minutes had gone by. All felt very rushed and like we were a total inconvenience to his day.Written 24 September 2024

- kmm1880 contributionsRomana was the loveliest person in the world!Wow what can I say. This trip was the highlight of our holiday! All staff members inside the dive centre were so happy and friendly. My sister and I, got a very detailed introduction (being new to snorkelling) and then met our wonderful guide Romana. She was the loveliest lady we have ever met and made our whole experience so calm and fun!! She made sure that all our equipment fit and when in the water guided us to amazing spots to see all kinds of fish. Every so often Romana would check that we were ok. Unfortunately we didn’t see any turtles, however this didn’t matter to us as the whole experience was INCREDIBLE. Just want to say a massive thank you to Romana for being an incredible human being and all of the other wonderful people at the dive centre. We will definitely be returning when we are next on the Island and will be trying scuba diving😍 Thank you again!Written 23 September 2024

- MrsMUk0 contributionsStunning sunsetWe booked this excursion via a ticket office, it was sold as a 2 hour sunset dolphin cruise with meal and drinks priced at €50pp including pick up from nearby locations to the harbour. We set off with the guide briefly explaining we may or may not see dolphins. After an hour or so we struck lucky and were treated to a magical display as a pod of dolphins swam beside and in front of the boat for quite a while, jumping and diving as if they were putting on a show for us! We then sailed back to face the oncoming sunset, the meal turned out to be a small piece of sponge cake accompanied with a glass of cava! Overall, it was a fantastic evening for us. I would’ve given 5 stars but the cake and cava didn’t quite cut it.Written 19 September 2024

- simonmX6702HT0 contributionsNot worth the moneyVery disappointed no caves as stated and told by the crew via there on board announcement took to a little bay to swim for a hour but hard to disembark and very slippery jetty and dangerous to get anywhere to explore we then had a 90 minute cruise back along the coast looking at houses along the coastline straight back to playa de Muro to the caves as was stated at the start. There was no explanation about the caves so feel cheated and not worth nearly 50 euros.Written 16 September 2024
- Explore625261236520 contributionsGreat experienceIt was a wonderful experience. The guide, Vanessa, is very kind and sweet, speaking both English and Spanish, explaining everything in detail. The driver, Adrian, is very skilled for the mountains. We tasted honey rumm and cheese, we saw amazing views that we wouldn't have been able to see without this trip. If there's one trip to take on this island, this is it. Thank you, Vanessa and Adrian for today, you were delightful!Written 16 September 2024
- J9326QYheatherb0 contributionsCancelled on us last minuteWe were really looking forward to this tour and made a trip to Mallorca just for this cave. The tour company cancelled on us only 5 days before and now all other tours are booked so we are unable to change our days because we have flights and hotels confirmed. They also emailed me a month ahead to confirm our tour for 8/19 instead of 9/19 and I had to send them the confirmed date of 9/19. My feeling is that they do not have a good system. That does not seem safe for a cave tour.Written 15 September 2024

We went on the boat trip and the weather was extremely bad - there were huge waves (as occurs often in the atlantic) and there were pany people vomiting on the boat. In the end we had a terrible trip for 3 hours and didn't see any dolphins - so far so good, of course its not 100% guaranteed to see dolphins.
Then we wanted to use the voucher they gave us as an excuse to go again and give it another try, but you can only use the voucher within the month! So we paid a lot of money for nothing and the voucher is practically useless - I mean, who has the time and interest during their 10 days holiday to invest 2 full days in trying to see dolphins. It would be more than appropriate to offer the clients a voucher that can be used for a longer time, because in the end we paid 70 euros for nothing.

We didn't see any whales or dolphins, but we were rocked back and forth on the sea for 3 hours. Several passengers had to throw up. The boat was so overbooked that we had to sit in the disabled seats. The snacks were limited to a small bag of chips (for a fee). There was also no alternative entertainment or information program during this time. A complete waste of time. No possibility of watching anything underwater through a window or anything like that. Bad luck🤷♂️ Completely overrated. Never again.

What a brilliant experience. Had to be rescheduled due to a crew member having a nasty accident on the Sunday but she's on the mend now thankfully.
I booked for Sunday 2nd but actually went on Monday 3rd July for reasons above. Booking was easy , company sent me emails with confirmation and then another with my my pick up was from and a link so I could see it on a map .
Once there , check in as such , was quick and easy and lady was very friendly . Onto the boat now you can sit downstairs or upstairs , but be advised if you get a little sick you'd be best downstairs . I sat upstairs at the front to get a good view of everything and had the advantage of what breeze there was into my face . We stopped around 6 miles out to see if there were any dolphins around , unfortunately not . We went out to 10 miles when the captain announced the dolphins were in front of us . We stopped the engines and waited for couple minutes then there they were !! A pod of about 30 with adults and youngsters , going down the side , round the boat and turning away then darting back again . Beautiful to watch .
We left after about 15 minutes or so and headed back towards the harbour . On the way back we had a short 15 minutes stop for anyone who wanted a swim in the sea .
The commentary by the captain was great , Informative and at times funny. The crew were great at serving drinks and just in general .
If your thinking of doing a trip like this , make it with this company . You won't regret it at all

Horrific. 70%, of the boat were vomiting. Tye boat was literally rocking from side to side. Never known sea sickness like it. We do a boat trip every year we go away but this was the first time iv seen so many people vomit. Myself and my three kids were all sick. Adults were vomiting, 40 minutes there and 40 mina back and 20 mins of seeing dolphins..absolutely waste of 85 euros. Do not take if you re not used to the waves or have kids.

A fun boat trip with experienced and friendly staff. Free soft drinks available on board. Depending on the day booked it may be a 2 hour or 3 hour trip. Only the 3 hour trip includes some time swimming in the ocean. We booked the 2 hour trip on which we didn't see anything but almost spotted a whale close to the boat. Only had a very quick moment when it surfaced to spout water and then left. Even with this however, the crew offered everyone aboard a voucher to book a second trip for free due to not spotting anything. The second free trip we came on was a 3 hour trip (no extra fee but had to pay for the included hotel pickup and return bus). This 3 hour trip did not seem as rushed and we spotted dolphins and flying fish.
It was a nice relaxing experience to have the boat trip and opportunity to spot whales, dolphins, flying fish or turtles in the area.

The boat was packed full of people - most of whom were being sick. This is of course noone's fault, but made the trip very uncomfortable - the sounds were people being sick and children crying, the smells were people sick, etc. The crew did find some dolphins but by this point noone was really bothered.
It's a lovely idea and the crew were great, but in reality I'd give this a miss - unless you go out of season when there aren't as many people on.

Spirit of the Sea’s staff took excellent care of us from the moment we checked in until the end of the trip.
The crew kept the boat ship shape and kept us all entertained, providing plenty of drinks.
They communicated clearly and managed expectations well.
We spent about an hour looking out to sea and observed Manx Sheerwater birds and then it was a thrill to see flying fish. The crew had told us us to be patient and just when our eyes were imagining dolphin fins in every wave, they announced that they had spotted a large pod of 300 Atlantic Spotted Dolphins.
Seeing the speed they swam at on and under the water was incredible. From the catamaran base, you can see through the glass bottom to see them swimming together. It was incredible.
On the way back the crew spotted a Loggerhead turtle caught up in a plastic bag and turned back to rescue it. They were very efficient in the rescue mission.
The swim stop was just that, I had hoped it would have been in a better snorkelling spot but there was nothing to see.
All in all, it was a great trip. It was a thrill to see the dolphins and to do it in good company and with respect to the environment.

As with all these trips you never really know if the wildlife will make an appearance!
Fortunately for us after about an hour into the three hour trip they did show up - perhaps 10 - 15 dolphins on three separate occasions came right up to the boat. It was quite something to see and an experience we will never forget.
Obviously you are traveling a fair distance offshore and the Atlantic can be rough, also take something warm as the wind can be a little chilly in March.
The crew were very knowledgeable and friendly and very conscious of the environment, even stopping to collect floating bits of plastic on the return to port.
Disappointed not to see any whales but the dolphins certainly made up for it!

Great morning out with a crew who obviously care about the environment around the whales & dolphins (fishing plastic from the ocean etc).
We had lovely weather and were lucky (? or perhaps it was down to the captain's expertise) to see whales & dolphins.
If you're prone to seasickness make sure that you take something for it before boarding - following the mammals can mean that the boat crosses waves which can mean that the boat rocks and rolls.
All in all I'd highly recommend.

I won't comment too much on the experience itself as the fact that we didn't see any dolphins or whales is ENTIRELY AND ABSOLUTELY independent of the crew's will.
These animals are free and while the point of the experience is to see them, you know when you book this type of experience that there is a risk you won't be seeing any animals.
The Spirit of the Sea was very clean and comfortable and the crew was nice and helpful. Supporting people who got seasick with much care. They were able to talk multiple languages to accomodate everybody on board.
The drinks on board are free, which is always nice. I'd recommend the experience to anybody who doesn't have sea sickness.
