- AbbiBettles0 contributionsAlways the highlight of our Gran Canaria holidays!!We’ve sailed with Exclusive Boat three times now - all on a private charter with family or most recently, a group of our closest friends and every time has been amazing! The boat is beautiful, the staff are brilliant, the food and drinks are always perfect. I honestly don’t think we could do a holiday in Gran Canaria now without factoring Exclusive Boat into our budget. We just love it so much! We will 100% be back (I’m hoping to make it an annual trip) 😍 Thank you again, we had the best time ever!Written 1 October 2024

- markcatto10 contributionsExclusive Boat TripWe had read the reviews and done our research into this boat trip. We felt that it really did sound exclusive and paid our 80 euros pp for the sunset cruise. We were made aware that we would not see the sunset as it would be very late, but we didn’t mind. On arriving we were greeted by the staff with a glass of bubbles or orange. We settled into an area of the boat we were comfortable with, our cruise then started. We travelled off in the direction of Mogan and told that once there we could access the water sports, we were not interested in these. We enjoyed a nice boat journey out. When we arrived the water was a bit choppy but ok to swim. I tried the snorkel equipment and 2 paddle boards but found most of it tired and needed replacing in my opinion there was only one kayak. No safety equipment was offered. We were called for our food which tasted nice but was a few wraps and a few slices of cheese ham, some crisps and cakes. Other reviews had said they had salads tuna chicken potatoes etc so we felt a little underwhelmed. We remained at the site for approximately 2 hours, then left our site and headed home. It was here I was left thinking what did our 80 euros each buy? The boat was indeed lovely but sailed out to one spot and back with some food. I guess the exclusive part was the numbers on the boat. My partner and I are used to boat excursions most recently in Thailand and Turkey sadly this trip did not reach the levels expected. That said however the staff were really great and a credit to the exclusive boat tour.Written 4 September 2024
- DayTrip570631611010 contributionsExcellent! This trip was amazing! The crew were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They brought drinks, prepared excellent food and stopped to show us wildlife. There was lots of time to swim in the sea in a beautiful spot. I can highly recommend this trip.Written 24 July 2024
- martinbS6916PX0 contributionsLovely boat, great food and fantastic crewLast year we had a half-day private charter which was the highlight of our holiday, so this year we thought we would go one better and book a full day charter. Our group was five adults and a child aged 9. The online communication was very good and the booking process was simple. We also arranged the optional jet skiing and parasailing. We were picked up from our hotel at the designated time and taken to the port where we were warmly greeted by the owner, Michelle, who remembered us from last year. After sorting out a few details, we boarded the boat and the two crew members introduced themselves over glasses of cava and fruit juice. After sailing out of the port we were met by the watersport company and the four adults doing the jet skis transferred to a small speedboat which took us to the jet skis whilst one adult and the child remained on board the catamaran. We were given a safety briefing and provided with life jackets before being helped onto the jet skis. We then followed the speedboat along the coast at “full throttle” which was quite an adrenaline rush and not for the faint hearted. This was much more “intense” than a typical jet ski hire from the beach, and more similar to the “jet ski safari” trips which we have done previously. We were on the jet skis for a bit longer than the time we had booked, and then the speedboat took us back to the catamaran. We then sailed to Perchel Beach, enjoying drinks and chatting to the friendly crew. At Perchel beach we were met by another speedboat, which two of us boarded for the parasailing, whilst the remainder of the party snorkelled, kayaked and paddle-boarded. The parasailing crew were very professional, with a good emphasis on safety, but ensuring we had good fun, including the obligatory “feet dip” in the ocean as well as plenty of time at the maximum height. We then boarded yet another speedboat (this one with 2x350 hp outboard engines!) to take us back to the catamaran. After snorkelling at Perchel beach amongst large shoals of fish, and chasing parrot fish amongst the rocks, we had a lovely lunch of tuna and chicken with potatoes and salad served up by the crew. We then sailed around the headland and at the next stop at Playa de Veneguera, we were met by a kayak delivering more fresh food, which we joked was “Uber Eats” on a kayak. The crew gave us the option of stopping at Playa de Veneguera or sailing on to “the big cliffs”, and we chose to sail on. We enjoyed more kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkelling before being treated to a delicious buffet dinner. For the return trip, the crew the asked if we would like to follow the coast back or go a bit further out to sea. We chose to go further out to sea. This is NOT a dolphin searching trip but we were extremely fortunate on this occasion to catch a glimpse of a small pod of dolphins as well as quite a few flying fish, and lots of sea birds. We then sailed into the pretty harbour of Puerto Mogan before stopping for more snorkelling, kayaking and paddle boarding. Here, our nine-year-old lost her headband which sank in almost 10 metres of water. This was recovered by one of the crew in an impressive display of free-diving, which we then tried (and failed) to emulate. We arrived back in Peurto Rico at just after 7pm just as the sun was beginning to set after an amazing 8 hours at sea. To be able to privately charter a half-million-euro flybridge catamaran in such idyllic settings is a truly amazing experience. This was, once again, the highlight of a fantastic holiday, made even more special by the wonderful crew who couldn’t do enough to make our trip so relaxing and memorable. When we next holiday in Gran Canaria another charter with Exclusive Boat will definitely be at the top of our agenda. A great big thank you to Michelle and her wonderful team.Written 21 May 2024
- I9702RAjosephineb0 contributionsIf I could give 6 starts I would. Absolutely amazing! This is the second time visiting Gran Canaria, both times being my birthday whilst we were there. On both occasions, my mum and dad have booked exclusive boats as a birthday present and I can honestly say it is one of the best gifts I have ever received. Firstly, all of the staff both onboard and off board the boat are absolutely amazing. Michelle is so accommodating and the crew are second to none. They cater for every single need whilst you are on the boat and are always willing to go the extra mile. This has been the case on both trips. Our first trip (May 2023) was a half day. We stopped off for snorkelling and enjoyed a beautiful buffet onboard made freshly by the crew. The food was fresh and delicious. There was more than enough for us all and the crew offered to make more if we wanted it. The drinks were unlimited and included in the price was water, beer, sangria and soft drinks. You can also purchase champagne, wine and other drinks if required which were very reasonably priced. The day was beautiful and we sailed back during sunset which was just a perfect end to the day! As we enjoyed the first trip so much, my parents booked the exclusive boat for a full day this year and again, we were not disappointed. It was hard to beat the first time, however we all felt that a full day made the experience even better. We enjoyed a number of water sports including jet skiing and parasailing. We stopped off at a number of beautiful locations for snorkelling and there was an abundance of fish including parrot fish. We had two meals, the first of which was lunch. This was a gorgeous selection of tuna and chicken, along with salad potatoes and other sides. The second was and evening buffet with wraps etc. Again, more than enough to go around. The views from the boat were spectacular and the crew really knew the best stops. We enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking on several occasions and the crew were always there to help us on and off the boat if needed. They were absolutely brilliant with my 9 year old daughter and one of the crew even retrieved a bandana which she dropped in the water. The boats are clean and well maintained and there are plenty of areas for sunbathing or shade if you prefer. The review of someone getting sun stroke and then asking for a refund is absolutely absurd. This is not the responsibility of the staff and there is a large area to keep out of the sun. Clearly this is your own responsibility and I cannot believe that a bad review has been left because of this 😂 All in all the boat trip is perfect in every way and as a family we would never ever hesitate to book each and every time we visit Gran Canaria. The only downside is that we can’t do this trip more often. Thank you to all of the crew and Michelle for making both experiences so magical!!! Hope to see you again very soon!Written 21 May 2024
- dowie19600 contributionsAnother great time on board7th May 2024, afternoon cruise. Picked from hotel and taken to boat. Afternoon cruise was great. Crew and shore staff were excellent. Food on board was also excellent. Did the morning cruise last October so had no hesitation this time. Would recommend highly. Gordon & Lesley.Written 12 May 2024
- kategZ2061NM0 contributionsPoor experience, overpriced!Disappointed with this experience, extremely overpriced in my opinion. Food was ok, but cold. Only two options to choose from, if vegan or vegetarian you are very limited. SUP and paddle boards were in short supply so did not get to use. I read a review that a jet ski experience would be available at an extra cost, it was not. If you are looking for a quiet and sedate boat trip/ have children and are willing to pay the price this would be ok! Not for young travellers looking for a fun tripWritten 29 April 2024
- cjc9200 contributionsGet Your Guide are dodgy. Do not book.DO NOT BOOK VIA GET YOUR GUIDE. They work on commissions via Exclusive Boat and are purposely ignoring my emails. I booked this boat trip when I was in Gran Canaria - I became severely poorly, nearly hospitalised due to sun stroke. I spoke to Exclusive Boat via WhatsApp who agreed to part refund me which I very much appreciated. However, because I booked through Get Your Guide they are now ignoring all of my emails and ‘closing my case’ when I has responded three times! Clearly do not want to refund me as they won’t get paid. I think this is disgusting when I was extremely unwell and they have no sympathy. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM. EXCLUSIVE BOAT are great but not GET YOUR GUIDE. I will be taking this further.Written 28 April 2024

- Mona L0 contributionsSo much fun!So much fun! The crew did everything to make our trip a perfect experience. As a sea lover and an adventurous person I enjoyed the windy day and big waves. Food was fresh and tasty and sangria delicious. We loved that it was really private, only like 12 of us in the boat. We met another couple in the boat and ended up having so much fun that 5h seemed like 1h. :D Would recommend definately!Written 29 January 2024
- MarineMarine770 contributionsBad experienceWe had bad experience with this organizer. The advertised pickup service in the south turned out to be limited (which they don’t mention beforehand), and they didn’t even drop us off at the same spot or warned us beforehand it would be the case. No apologies for that either. Communication was poor.Written 27 January 2024
- J3921JEkatew0 contributionsLovely day outLovely tour: the boat was spacious and spotless, and the food was delicious. My only comment is to let others know that, for the exclusive private charter, it's only the boat itself that's private: the shuttle bus picks up lots of other people (it took over an hour, for what would have otherwise been a 25-minute drive), and when you stop for the hour of snorkerlling and kayaking, etc., the tour company has other boats there at the same time so what would have otherwise been a nice secluded bay is pretty busy. That's all fine but for a £900+ tour it's not quite as exclusive/private as advertised.Written 6 January 2024

Callum and Bo really looked after us on our trip. The food was great the people we went with were lovely (we were lucky) even the music was perfect. My 12 year old daughter and I swam to the beach and made the most of swimming in the sea. The jet ski was fun too. This is not a dolphin trip (we did that too), this is a far more classy option to see the island and enjoy a cruise. Definitely recommend. Scott also really looked after us. He is down the harbour and I recommend you go and see him to book any trips, as you walk into the harbour turn right and he is on the left, just ask for Scott. Then you know your paying the right amount for any of the trips you want.

This is a lovely trip up the coast of Gran Canaria.
There are two boats that sail out together. Our family of five were in Boat 2 with a total of around 16 people on board. There was enough room for each family/group/couple to have their own personal space.
Gerry and his crew member (didn't catch his name, sorry) were really friendly and gave clear instructions on what to expect.
The first stop is just north of Mogan, where we paid €32 for the use of a jet ski (€27 for parasailing). Eldest daughter and middle daughter loved their jet ski experience. Youngest daughter and myself had the second jet ski and unfortunately it had a fault (engine kept flooding or overheating and could not get consistent power) so this was a small disappointment.
Upon return to the boat, the snorkelling gear, paddleboards and canoe were made available. This was great fun swimming in the ocean. Amazing view of the fishes.
We then cruised to the second stop, which was about 20-30 minutes away.
When the boat was anchored at this stop, Gerry declared the "swimming pool is open". A few minutes later, someone noticed a fin in the water. Apparently there were two hammerhead sharks several metres from Boat 2 circling each other. Gerry said there was no danger but unsurprisingly no one was keen to do any more ocean swimming after that.
Food was nice (breaded chicken or tuna, salad, potatoes). Plenty of drinks available.
An earlier review mentioned seasickness, and a couple of passengers on Boat 2 (wife included) were seasick.
The journey back to port was quite cold due to the ocean breeze so a warm top is advisable.
Lastly, compliments to the Exclusive Boat team for being so well organised (communicating the time of pick up, have a dedicated shuttle bus to take us to Puerto Rico harbour and then back to the hotel, and assigning people to their respective boats upon arrival).

This was an awesome boat trip. Top notch. First of all, they limited the number of bodies that were allowed so there was plenty of space for everyone to stretch out. They started with the option of a mimosa or glass of sparkling wine.
The scenery was spectacular from the water. The crew were great looking after everyone making sure we had what we needed. Unlimited beer, sangria. And soft drinks
You had options to go paddle boarding, swimming or the use of jet ski for an additional fee. Or just diving off the boat.
The lunch they served was plentiful and delicious, salad, choice of chicken or fish and roasted potatoes
I would highly recommend Exclusive Boat

We ordered this trip via web and booked it for a Wednesday which would fit us best (and were available). Shortly after we returned an email from the organizer with a request of changing to another day. I asked why and informed that Wednesday were the best day for us. In a reply Wednesday were re-confirmed and we should meet up at the harbor. A little strange when pick up service were included and we had stated which hotel we stayed in. A new email confirmed we would be picked up in the morning 10.15 at our hotel. 10.30 and still no shuttle service were arrived and a called the organizer. After two more calls finally a taxa arrived and picked us up. We left the harbor 11.15, a 45 minutes delayed. As a compensation for the pick up troubles we got a free water ski trip, fine service.
We had a nice trip, however not that exclusive. We were in total 13 passengers on board (of these 1 child). Do not know if they order lunch for all, because all food were soon eaten. There were no time to look after dolphins and whales.
The service on board was fine and the trip was good, but not exclusive. There are other (cheaper) alternatives in Puerto Rico.

We are truly sorry that you felt the need to write this review. We knew with going out late that this was not a good start to the trip and tried to rectify this by returning 45 minutes later than normal and offering your jet ski for free. We had a misunderstanding with one of our agencies over a booking and were let down very badly by the taxi company after making the arrangements with them the night before. However our excuses are irrelevant and this is a first for us, and we intend to make sure it doesn’t happen again. We will use your feedback to improve ourselves. If you visit Gran Canaria in the future, please contact us and we would be delighted to invite you as our guests.

We wanted a boat trip that was relaxing but also things to do if we wanted, we weren't bothered about dolphins as we had both swam with them. Getting picked up and dropped off at our hotel was great service. The 2 boats were going out at the same time and I think It was really great service when I worked out that planning the trips they had put couples on one boat and families on other other, small things like that show you that the company go the extra mile for your comfort.
Upon arrival on the boat we were greeted with either OJ or Cava then you were able to choose your seat/bed. The guides then introduce themselves and explain the lay out of the day so that people know what's happening.
As soon as the boat sets off the drinks start flowing, unlimited soda, water, beer and sangria which is always a bonus. The weather was a fantastic 27° on our day so glad of the plenty refreshments, we had chance to chat to the other guests as we took in the lovely views of Gran Can and the ocean. The guides then asked who wanted to partake in jet ski or para sailing (at an extra reasonable charge)
At the first stop we could go paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling and swimming. We chose to stay on board but had fun watching other enjoy it and the freezing water was always a giggle.
Back on the boat and going towards the next stop we had the pleasure of seeing dolphins in the water, for the first time the crew advised, this was a really nice bonus on the trip as it wasn't a dolphin spotting trip. We reached the second stop and it was lunchtime, we had the choice of chicken and tuna, even after asking at the start of the trip you chose one option, when it arrived there was plenty that if you wanted extra you could. The canary red sauce is also very nice, (I managed to get some from the shop to take home) food was all amazing.
After lunch, time to have a leisurely sail home to finish the day. There was some nice music in the background, loud enough to hear but not too loud it spoilt the atmosphere. The website boasts exclusive boat trip and it certainly was, it was well worth every penny we spent on it and more, if and when we come back to Gran Canaria we would 100% book a trip with this company again.

The absolute highlight of my entire holiday. There were 10 of us on board and we left right on time, heading up the coast to our first stop, where you could try kayaking or a dip in the sea. Jet skis and parasailing are also available at extra cost - €50 for both, which is very reasonable, compared to other places I’ve been. The parasailing was a first for me - absolutely amazing and highly recommended! From there, onto our next stop where a delicious lunch of chicken, tuna, potatoes and salad was brought over to the boat on a kayak and served up. All those I spoke to on board said it was like having your own private yacht for the day, which is really true. The crew were great, they were very welcoming and ensured your safety at all times. I can’t recommend this highly enough - it was worth every penny.

The boat trip corresponds to the information of the organizer.
Everything was very well organized from the pick up to the return transfer.
Food on board was fine. The crew of two was pleasantly reserved and friendly.
The only minus point, from our subjective perception, was the first stop of the boat for about 1 hour.
There the atmosphere of a small exclusive boat trip disappeared. It was a mass anchorage of several providers of boat trips. Furthermore, jet ski rides were offered there for an additional fee. You could also enjoy the sight of a large number of filigree shaped snorkel trips. On the deck of one of these boats you could witness the filling of so-called vomit bags. Some excursionists were probably "surprised" by the sea of an Atlantic cruise.
But as I said, that was our subjective perception. Others may find such observations, as described, quite great.
On the trip you could see other boats that had slightly more private anchorages. We think that would fit better with the concept of an exclusive boat tour with few people on board.
Conclusion: A very well organized boat trip of just under 5 hours, with friendly crew, max. 18 participants, adequate food for such events, and the opportunity to experience the coast and the Atlantic from a different perspective.
P. S. We were lucky enough to observe flying fish.

The day started great as we were picked from our hotel at the right time. It was our first time in Puerto Rico port and when we saw the boat we were amazed how good and clean it looked. Guys from our boat were very friendly and polite. For extra price we did parasailing and it was a nice - flying up quite high. It happened on different boat and then we were taken back to our luxurious boat with smaller one enjoying extreme speed driving. We parked near the coast and were able to paddle board, swim and do snorkelling - that was really nice. Then we had lunch which was tasty and well earned after water activities. Then we had slow cruise towards our starting point when we were sunbathing, enjoying unlimited drinks and being amazed about such a good day. I really appreciate the crew as we really felt that this is a luxurious cruise.

Booked a trip via our rep on the Exclusive Boat trip and wasn't disappointed.
The boat takes a maximum of 18 passengers so plenty of room to sunbath and sit. Nice stable ride as it's a catamaran and very impressive level of service by the crew who are friendly and informative.
Time to snorkel, sunbath and have dinner delivered by kayak from a local restaurant along the coast.
Very good value for money and pound for pound best boat trip to date.
Thoroughly recommend

Excellent customer service, good food, nice boat, got picked up outside the hotell ( included in the price). The time you get on the jetski was very short compered to what you pay, but it was nice that they had padle boards and snorkel gear for activities. Food was very good!
