- LibbyC26900A truly fun and unique experience- when in Rome!It was such a fun experience! Our family of 4 poured in and laughed and laughed. Francesco was an amazing guide.
- PRA6000You must do thisAbsolutely fantastic afternoon with Alex and the pink machine bringing out our inner Barbie . Tons of laughs despite the protests today. A few improvisations and a really fun afternoon. So many smiles from passers by and having to wait while people photo bombed the car was great. Excellent birthday present for my wife Thanks guys.
- 1warrenh00Just Great FunHaving visited Rome on four occasions it was great to do something different being driven around Rome in a 1960's Fiat visiting less travelled sites. Was not only enjoyed by us, as was constantly attracting the attention of others all over Rome. Great fun and recommend.
- LizzieOHLondon00Don’t visit Rome without booking this trip!My husband and I booked this trip and our tour guide was Alex. He was so friendly and knowledgeable, and it was a pleasure to be shown around Rome by him. Alex judged my hubbies driving skills and took us down appropriate roads that were super exciting, especially the Trastevere area. All in all an excellent trip and well worth the money would definitely do again.
- victorsO9871YC00Fun, historic and unique tour of RomeThe tour was absolutely worth it. Our tour guide Francesco was funny, knowledgeable and patient driving through Rome. They were accommodating and very courteous. Our guide took wonderful photos and was informative of the places we got to visit. The tour was our favorite of our trip to Rome. We would recommend to anyone who loves vintage cars and history.
- Vika_vikovna00Amazing experience, thank you MaxThis experience was really amazing Our guide Max was very friendly and positive One of the best memories about Rome Max gave us a lot of recommendations and it was very helpful Hello from Ukraine❤️
- Crenetraveller00Amazing way to see the city!We really enjoyed out Fiat 500 tour of Rome in the beautiful pink Sophia Loren! Alex was an awesome guide and chaffeur and we saw some great sights of the city outside of the normal Colloseum and Pantheon. We booked the option with the wine tasting afterwards - my only feedback is to be really clear that the wine tasting is after the 3 hours in the car as we were meeting friends and not realising it was 3 hours plus the wine tasting caused some confustion and timing challenges for us. Otherwise brilliant!!
- Thomas-in-Oslo00Three fabulous hours in Rome in a red Fiat 500.Driving around in Rome with a Fiat 500 together with the knowledgeable guide Alexis Leonardo is a fun and exciting way of exploring the interesting and slightly less famous parts of this marvellous city. You'll see and visit things you'll otherwise miss out on: the pyramide, the Caracalla baths, the San Sebastiano gate, and the noon salute, to metion some. Not to forget being in the midst of the caotic Roman traffic. You'll remember this trip more than anything else! Three hours will fly unexpectedly fast.
- 321beem00Such a fun and informative tour!Alex was an amazing tour guide, I am a very anxious person in general so driving in a city I have never been to before was scary, however he made me feel very safe and made the whole experience so fun. Looking at the 7 hidden wonders of Rome was so interesting and full of information, we got to see so much that we’d have never thought to have seen for ourselves. 10/10, five stars all round, give the man a raise!
- CMJTBS00Driving Vintage Fiats Around RomeMy wife and booked the Fiat tour as part of our Silver Wedding anniversary trip to Rome and it was such great fun. Before we arrived Alvise made sure we had all the information we needed about the cars and tour, as well as recommending local eateries and microbrewery for us to visit! His son Alex was our tour guide. Really personable and very knowledgeable. Like his father, a top fella! The cars were great to drive and it was wonderful to get a different perspective on such an amazing city. When we return to Rome we’d definitely like to to another trip in the Fiats.
- Travel4215015781800AmazingAlex was our guide and he was exceptional. He gave great instructions at the start about the car. He then asked what we wanted from the trip. As we’ve been to Rome several times we asked for different sights. Alex did not fail to deliver. His knowledge where to take us and the extra information you just don’t get. At the end we did all the narrow streets. That was an experience we never expected. The roads at times were pretty spicy but Alex guided us through. Would 1000% recommend this company. Thank you so much Alex
- RobertsonSarah00Great fun 🤩This was great fun, got to see many places we hadn’t been to before, and well organised. Only issue was the change of venue at the last moment, as we had to get a taxi, which added more cost ! As was way out of central Rome.
- thomascY4983EY00Awesome!Awesome! Funny, entertaining and hillarious way to see Rome. The guide was excellent, the tour was great and the car was insane. Can not recommend this strongly enough and will try to find similar experiences anywhere I travel from now on.
- H1557HUseans00ExcellentFantastic tour by Max endless knowledge of Rome full of passion and enthusiasm. Showed us some lovely spots worth every penny!
- 425maea00<3 Rome and FiatsExcellent tour! Wonderful guides, great sights, and awesome cars. Our guides were Max and Marcus - very knowledgeable and friendly! Good balance of information, sightseeing, and photo ops. Would definitely recommend, especially for anyone seeing Rome for the first time. We booked the evening tour as well, which was gorgeous!

I have no words for this. If you have the opportunity, do it. Its one in lifetime experience due to the fact that not only you learn a lot about the history of Rome, but also you have the opportunity to drive a fiat 500 antique. We booked for 7p.m in the evening, so we started with daylight, witnessed a majestic sunset at the garden of oranges and drove through ancient Rome that was lighted during night. We were very pleased with Emanuele, the smiley tour guy, because he just gave us every information we asked about Rome. Except of that, he also took some photos of us in different spots that only locals could know. Needless to say that Emanuele is a guy that we will stay in touch and we hope him the best. He is a professional. Just to mention that driving an old fiat 500 is easy, so dont be afraid to try it. Greetings from Greece.

What an experience! Definitely 1 of the highlights of our trip to Rome and a must do activity!
We were greeted by Alex who showed us around the car and how it works (it is old so slightly different to driving a modern car) and put us at ease with how the tour will operate driving around Rome. We were also greeted by Fernando who would follow the convoy via a Moped and would assist with any issues you have including if you stall or if cars try to push into the convoy, he would race ahead and block them. This meant that you do
Not have to panic or worry at all about losing the convoy or getting lost.
The cars are manual so if you can drive a manual (stick), you will have no issues. The way the gears work are very 1950s but after you have changed gear once or twice it becomes natural.
The drive was amazing and extremely fun! Alex lead the convoy and ensured any manoeuvres he did we could all do without losing the convoy (examples including turning onto a road or going through traffic lights)
We visited numerous sites that gave us amazing views of the city as well as some historical sites that you wouldn’t visit if you had to make your own way. The highlight for me was the keyhole where you can see 3 countries at once along with the drive around the colosseum!
Everyone on our tour loved it and I was sad when it was over. I can’t stress enough how much fun this was and it was worth every penny!
Thanks to Alex and Fernando for giving us an experience of a lifetime that I will never forget

Our group of four couples were guided around some of Rome’s highlights by Alex and his wing-man Nando who rode his Vespa as interference for us at intersections. After a briefing at the start the four husbands drove their wives around in convoy behind the lead car driven by Alex. We had walkie talkies to stay in touch and receive instructions and commentary from Alex. There were a few stops along the way to look at some particular monuments and historic sights and we finished the tour knowing a lot more about Rome.
The cars were all in good condition and fun to drive, even for us Aussies who drive on the other (correct 😉) side of the road. Other motorists were generally patient with our convoy even as the roads became busier during the later afternoon. Pedestrians never failed to smile and wave, and many took photos with the cars each time we stopped. All in all a fabulous experience.

Alex was amazing. His positivity and professionalism beamed. We had a blast driving these beautiful little beasts through back streets of Rome’s lesser touristed neighborhoods and really enjoyed the family friendly atmosphere. I would 100% recommend for travelers looking to scratch the itch of driving a classic Fiat 500, where they are meant to be driven, in the Eternal City.

Booked directly with the company. Very flexible with regards to payment options. Can pay in advance or pay a small deposit with the outstanding balance paid on the day (in cash). Purchased a group tour but on the day became a private tour which made the experience even more unique! Alex was very welcoming and approachable. His instructions to use the cars are very clear and has a wide range of knowledge when explaining the history of Rome (with some added humour along the way). Plenty of opportunities to park the cars and take photos. (Alex is a very willing photographer!). Would highly recommend this method to explore Rome (so long as you can fit in the car - drivers must be able to drive a manual gearbox).

Make sure you book this as a part of your Rome visit, it was certainly one of our highlights. The owner took us out and was charming, friendly and so enthusiastic. We saw places we would of never found without him. My son drove the car which was relatively easy and it was a bit of a squash for the 3 of us but it was really a lovely way to see Rome. We stumbled upon a wedding in progress so we got some really beautiful extra photos and memories. We stopped at a stunning café for a coffee and pastries. Our convoy was only 3 cars long so it was easy to keep up, highly recommend this.

Great tour, and a great experience much thanks to our fun and full-of-knowledge guide Max (Massimilio). Takes you to gems on the outskirts of the city during the 3 hour tour which is a lot harder to catch by public transportations. Unique to experience it by a vintage Fiat 500, which also catches the interest of a lot of the public you pass.
Thanks again, Max!

The tour was the highlight of our trip!
Mimmo was very welcoming and showed us how to work the car. Driving was easy and not stressful and Mimmo always stayed close by. He took us to Rome’s famous sights, but also hidden gems! Mimmo’s knowledge of Rome was great and we learnt lots about the city. We stopped for a lovely slice of pizza at a local’s cafe. Mimmo gave us a walki talkie so it was easy to communicate. The fiat was a dream and Mimmo took lots of photos for us to remember the experience!
Would 100% recommend booking this trip for a unique way to see Rome!!

Such an incredible experience and what an addition to a Roman Holiday! Manu was a fantastic tour guide and we got to see some attractions off the beaten track that we would have missed otherwise. The cars themselves are the best, they're a lot of fun to drive and they look great. I was nervous beforehand having seen how busy the roads in Rome are but I'm so glad I went for it anyway. I would highly recommend to anybody visiting Rome looking for an unforgettable experience!

We had most amazing private Fiat 500 tour with Max in the red car! We had 3 people in the car plus Max driving us around Rome and yes we all fitted into one small car, unbelievable! This was the highlight of my trip to Italy! Max was an amazing guide and driver who took us around Rome and showed us so many different sites, he was great source of information and recommended beautiful restaurant for our lunch, even made reservation for us - what a service! Definitely worth the money. Thanks Max! See you next time

So does the non driving passenger need to pay full price too? That’s how I’m seeing it, but just want to clarify

Good afternoon: I have a driver license from United States. Will that work for your requirements? Thanks
I have been driving a manual car for 9 months. Is this sufficient experience to drive on the tour?
Thanks

We are a family of four, two kids. All less than 5'4", can we all fit in one car???? I'm good with manual shift, my wife....not so much.

There is a back seat but small .. depends on how old the kids are...two small kids may fit. Unfortunately we didn’t get a picture of the back seat. For sure one will fit in the back... I don’t know if they’ll allow it but maybe one of the kids or your wife can ride with the guide, so you can have one in the passenger seat and one kid in the back?

Hello! Wanted to know which all sites do you cover in this particular tour? Since we have only 3 days in Rome, want to see as much as we can.

The tour lasts for 90 minutes and starts at the coliseum. They take you up to the “keyhole” the knights of Malta which is worth a visit and then through to Trastevere, old town for a little way to a wonderful panoramic viewing point by the borghese Park looking down to the river Tiber and across to the city of Rome. It’s a wonderful fun and interesting tour. The tour leader gives good information at each stop. I highly recommend it if you are in a large group. If you are just a couple on your own then I think you are better getting the hop on hop off 24/48 hour big bus city tour ticket as this gives you the opportunity to see all the major sites to view and explore.

These vintage cars are pretty tiny and I think it would be impossible for someone weighing 115kg to manipulate the pedals, etc.

So driving on the left side of the road in Italy, the driver is on the right side of the car? If so, how does driving a manual transmission work? Is it confusing?

Italy drives on the same side of the road as the USA. You just need to be able to use a manual (stick shift) car. If not the guide will drive you.
Do you just need an English licence .. my son will be on honeymoon. Is this trip appropriate foe them. Thak you for your help

I was told prior to arrival via the company's website that I would need an international driver's license if I wanted to drive my own Fiat. I was also told that I would need my own from state of issue printed in roman lettering. Therefore an English license WITH an international will be needed if your son plans on driving himself. The website was incredibly helpful and the owner of the company is excellent with getting back to you about questions, as I had several.
That being said, my wife and I were given a radio to communicate with our guide (the owner), who was chauffeuring another couple, and it was amazing. I highly recommend doing this tour.
