- barbaralE2876YV00Nice busesThe process was good. Clean buses. Tip-make sure you drop a pin at your drop off and pick up location. It’s a bit obscure and not marked on the map that they give you.
- T9168EUgailg00Beware of Third Party Travel Site (Expedia.Com)This was the worst experience I ever had with Expedia. They booked a flight with Air Maroc (August 31, 2023) that was overbooked. Air Maroc informed them via email that my status was STANDBY. Expedia did not inform me of such. When I attempted to check in the day before the flight, I noticed the departure date was incorrect, so I contacted Air Maroc by phone to confirm and check in for my flight. The rep informed me that I was on standby and assured me that I would not be able to board that flight. She suggested that I contact Expedia to cancel the flight and get a refund or she could book a new flight under special conditions. However, I would have to pay the difference in price, which was $649.00. Since I was attending a wedding and needed to make that flight, I accepted their offer. I called Expedia explaining what happened and they said that the flight was delayed. That was not true. Going back and forth, they finally contacted Air Maroc to arrange a voucher. This has no value to me since I don't know when or if I will go back to Morocco. I should have received some compensation for the additional money I had to pay for Expedia's deliberate mishandling of my travel itinerary. By the way, this was a multi-city itinerary. This lesson has taught me to never book with a third party travel site, such as Expedia.Com.
- gibson73700Get the AppNot a bad tour . Pro tip, get the app which tracks the time of the next bus. I didnt get an Italian Sim card and the bus I wanted didn't arrive. I was there 10 minutes early and ended up waiting an hour when a bus is supposed to come every 25 minutes. Tour hits all the main sites and gives a good orientation to the city.
- NancyR318800A pleasant surpriseThis was a pleasant surprise. We had gone into Livorno from cruise ship and was not impressed. Though I will say we were distracted. The next day we took the hop on hop off bus and realized what was fantastic about the city. We got off and walked the beach, putting our toes into the Med. The driver was very pleasant.
- K4653ZPalexn00Not as advertised. Not worth the money, book a train (less than 30 euro round trip) and go yourself. You will get the same views of the villages and sea as you would with this. The “Tour Guide” just read from a sheet a few facts along the way but otherwise did not engage with anyone. This was just a glorified shuttle. If you are looking for an actual tour, this is not it.
- lilanab202300Great way to see the cityGreat bus tour. Easy to locate and had the option of using 3 different buses, so very little time waiting on a bus! Great way to see the city
- Noreen B00Disappointing but marvellous view of FlorenceI have completed this tour in six other capitals and this must be the worst. Staff were under pressure and snappy and rushed. We prebooked tour and were not advised it was not on until we arrived to be told at a local shop all buses off until after lunch. Still we should have been advised at booking of the run in city. The company who we booked with city tours should have advided us on confirmation. We wasted time getting there. It was not managed correctly and large numbers were then waiting when started. Earphones were sloppy and not functioning in both ears for either of us and were just out of packets! The site from micheal angelo park was my high point and worth the spend.
- a1_hotel_rater00Don’t trust their advertised scheduleA very average tour bus, in which they advertise their timetable, but then remove a significant number of services from their timetable, they argue you have a 24 hour ticket so if they cancel most of the services one day you can get them the next, but that’s not that helpful when you purchase a ticket at the start of the day, and they finish their services early. I’d avoid this company both in Milan and elsewhere, as they could have told us about the cancelled services when we bought the tickets but they chose not to.
- Richard S00Great way to see the sitesBest way to explore the many facets of Verona and its history, informative commentary. All day pass two routes, hop off, takes about an hour depending upon the traffic
- TonyDrum100Just OKThere are 4 routes in Milan although a guide told us to do the yellow and blue ones. This is mainly as the routes often overlap and these two routes take you to the old and new parts of the city. We often had problems with the audio guide and when it was working it was mainly music Would avoid getting on at the Duomo stop as it gets very busy and all queuing etiquette soon disappears once the bus arrives.
- markwR4866CG00A good experience but could be better with more time visiting the attractions. The experiences was good, although not enough time in some places and the tour of Siena was rushed and not very good. The winery meal and organisation was average quality. Guide was helpful and site we visited were beautiful. Really enjoyed the world best gelato.
- ReneeOfNY00Terrible. Deserves 0 stars.I'm told the buses don't go past the actual sites because the streets around the sites are too narrow for the buses. I'm told you get dropped within a ten minute walk of many of them I can only remark on what i was told since I never actually got to ride in a bus. In the few hours i was walking around different areas of Rome, i saw one Big Bus and one Green Line bus. The rest were regular city buses. Terrible to find stops or a bus. Would not recommend this for your Rome visit.
- Alvinf00Good Option for a quick City reviewWe always try to take the Hop on Hop off bus on our first day in a city. We then have a good idea of where and what we want to visit. The headsets worked and we took both the yellow and red routes. They made sense to us.
- TonyDrum100OK bus tripsWe normally go these HOHO trips to orientate our selves. There are 3 options and we went on all of them. Each is mixed with the Green line simply a long bus ride to a royal palace and Juventus ground with nothing much in between. The red line is around the main town centre and the blue a little further out. Each had slightly out of sync audio commentary with a strange set of background music. Not the best HOHO we have been on but I’m not sure if public transport is easier.
- JDJAlain00Best of the bestStaff very friendly and always smiling, did help us from a Booking "jam" 😀 Excellent experience. Highly recommend

Went with my family and it was a horrible experience. We purchased it at the cruise port because it was advertised as coming every 20 minutes and we would be able to take 2 different routes. They didn't accept card which was a huge red flag because we couldn't chargeback. The experience started then We saw the massive line 5 minutes away from where they were selling the tickets. It took around 45 minutes to actually get on the bus and they didn't stop people from cutting. Then we got off and walked to another stop only to wait for more than an hour and see no bus show up, And the app is borderline useless as it is very inaccurate at telling you when the bus will pull up. And it seemed like only the blue line was operating for that day even though we were told both were running. Most likely explains why we were at that stop for an hour. Once we did get back on from another stop the audio tour continued. It was a very mediocre audio tour with most of it being classical music playing. Overall, you'd be better off taking a taxi or the metro buses the locals used as we saw multiple metro buses labeled 35 pass us many times when we were waiting for this tour bus. Honestly, even the local metro would have been a massive improvement. And you aren't missing out on much because the audio tour wasn't that entertaining or spectacular either.

When we boarded the bus we were given the earbud & waved pass when I try to show driver QR code on my phone. Once the audio started it was majority music and not information & history of the city. We boarded the 2nd bus for the day & was unable to hear the audio because they did not have it turned on. I know it's busy this time of year, but there were more people wanting to get on the bus than their was room.

Hopefully the company read earlier reviews. We got off the cruise ship and yes, there were crowds. But we waited about 20 minutes before boarding one of the few buses that were arriving every 10 minutes. hopefully, they planned to handle the crowds knowing the docking time. TIP for cruisers - if time allows WAIT one hour or more after the crowds get off the ship. Then head off to the bus stop and you will more likely find a shorter line. Go out during lunch and there is virtually no line. Each tour took about 90 minutes with traffic.
The tour itself moved through many of the highlights of Genoa. The audio worked well. We did not find any stops with unusually long lines and there were seats for everyone.
One suggestion - the operator should consider a rope line to keep some late comers from attempting to cut the line at the cruise port stop.

The information given on the tour was good and we enjoyed it and the hospitality, but there are some cons. Some of the headphone outlets didn't work and the app also wasn't as good as advertised (the live tracking worked sometimes, but sometimes not). The route itself was good, but the time in between busses was quite long and turns out we didn't really like the city. In conclusion it's okay for a day, but we expected more.

Please, save your time and take other company or walk. We waited for about 2 hours in a long, long line. Very dissappointing, they simply sell much more tickets than they can serve with those 3 buses they have in total (three, seriously!).

Do not use this if you are in port on a cruise. It is so busy that you will spend most of your day waiting in lines hoping to get on. After waiting in a long line we took the blue line a little down the coast. When we got dropped off the attendant told us the next bus wouldn't come for another hour. We got some gelato and were there an hour later. When the bus arrived there were 15 people waiting to get on but only room on the bus to let in 3 people. And the next bus wouldn't come for another hour. We ended up walking back.

I have taken the Hop-On Hop-Off tours all over the world. I have had a very good experience with most of them; unfortunately this was not so much. From the get go, the sound quality was terrible and it took a while to find a headphone jack that would actually work. Even then the sound was distorted and of poor quality. The narration on this tour made little sense, with the described sights being impossible to see and the audio mistimed to where the bus was. While I appreciate the screen on the upper deck given the heat, it was dirty, scratched, and essentially served as an obstruction to the view of anything. Overall, not worth the 20 euros and not up to the standard normally seen with these types of tours.

Having arrived early to wait at the starting point for the first tour of the day, we were amazed that when the bus arrived it was already completely full. We waited for the next bus and exactly the same thing happened. Fortunately we had not bought our tickets online in advance, unlike some others who were waiting who were unable to get on either. For a hop-on, hop-off bus journey to work, you need to know that if you do hop off, you're going to be able to hop back on again - which would definitely not have been the case here. We followed two guided walks from the map from the tourist information centre instead which was free.

Got off cruise and bought our tickets outside cruise terminal. Was told next bus in 10 minutes and to go across the street to the bus stop. Once we cross the street, we see a line a mile long. There has to be at least 100 people in line. 3 buses stopped by with only several available seats on each bus. After more than an hour, the line moved just very slightly and we don’t see any possibility to get on for another hour. We left without wasting more time. Went back to where we bought our tickets and no staffs was there. Even their sign is gone. Port staff helped call their office and nobody will pick up their phone. This is a total ripe off. Do not bother with Genoa Hop on hop off bus. It’s the worst experience ever. I will stop payment on my credit card .

Sold the tickets the port, but line to wait was ridiculous, abandoned in heat for well over an hour waiting for a bus, when they did arrive they were packed to a uncomfortable standard, the bus’s were grubby and dirty. Seating area very tight. Ready disappointed and poor. Definitely lots of better ways to get around…
