The tour guide Ana is really great, super knowledgeable and really mixed some history of the city with the history of the food and local produce. There is really a lot to eat in this tour and the wines we tried are wonderful
This tour is perfect for someone that is not familiar with Italian produce and for people that want to learn more about the food and history of this very unique city.
Italy is different from region to region and from city to city and this was a great overview of the food and traditions of the city of Venice.
We learned so much about the city and the food eaten here!

Do this tour!!! But come hungry!

Ana is an amazing tour guide who truly wants you to learn more about her city and the food it offers. She will answer any question you have and does a great job of teaching you about the history and culture as well.

The food was all delicious! You will be full I promise. And if you like wine then she will keep bringing it for you to try more!

One word of guidance - the market is closed on Sunday and Monday so you may have more of a Rialto Market experience going on a day where it is open.

Definitely come to this tour hungry because you will be given an opportunity to eat lots of food and drink lots of wine, prosecco, and spirits. It's hard to come across bad or even average authentic italian food, and of course this tour did not disappoint.

What we also liked about the tour was how grounded our guide was. She did more than give us information about the people in the market and at the restaurants, but was also very open about the lives of every day Venetians. It's become very well known how crowded Venice can get (we went in super off season and there were still a lot of tourists), and those crowds are both a boon and a curse for the locals. We recommend coming into this type of tour with an open mind and a willingness to put yourself in the shoes of a local...you will learn a lot!

A wonderful tour. Great experience, lots of food, exceptional wine, Ana(tour guide) was a true delight. The best guide, I recommend requesting her for your tour host. Wear good walking shoes and be sure to pace yourself and come extra hungry. Many stops are in close succession.
Very informative each stop was fun and filling!
Open minded food lovers with zero food restrictions will make this experience a true delight!

Warning - do not book this tour!!! My husband and I booked, paid for, and received confirmation for this tour almost a week in advance and Stefania texted us less than 2 hours before the tour and cancelled. We had nothing else planned for the day and with less than 2 hours notice we were not able to book anything else. When we asked for the list of restaurants and dishes so we could do the tour ourselves she didn’t even give us the dignity of a response. We will never book another Raphael Tour event again.

With less travellers and Venice unusually quiet, even late in the season, this tour was an absolute delight. Our guide, Valentina, was engaging with her stories of Venice and it's history. The markets were interesting and, not being rammed, you could take the experience in on a leisurely stroll. The various food and wine stops were superb. from the simple hole in the wall wineries to sitting outside in the sunshine for a leisurely lunch, followed by Ice cream. Whilst none of the food portions were a 'man V food' wad, there is plenty of 'little and often' which mounts up. The food itself is very good. Valentina paired the wines with the food and her choices were spot on. As a very late booking this fell just right and is an excellent way to spend lunchtime.
You may well skip dinner after this trip too.

We had a great time on this tour with our guide Monica and the rest of our group. We learned about the history of Venice and the Rialto Market, and we explored some food spots that we never would have found on our own. Everything was tasty and authentic. All around awesome experience.

Stopped leaving reviews quite a while ago but had to leave one for this tour. The best food and wine tour that I have ever been on. Probably my like 20th plus... Ana out guide was great although she had lost her voice. Stopped at 5 different stops and each one was really really good. Quality locations that we would never had seen. Walked by a few of them many times and never realized they were there. No signs or anything outside. Based on reviews they take you to different places but I'll show where we went. Wine was very good and food was excellent. Pastas were terrific and probably one of best risotto and Tiramisu ever... Would go back again and again. Was stuffed by the end of 3rd stop... 5👍👍👍👍👍

2 Things...
1) Rialto Market closed on Sundays but we were OK with that.

2) WHERE'S THE LIMONCELLO WITH TIRAMISU!!!!! 😁😁
