The medium difficulty route develops in the northern part of the Volcano, starting at an altitude of about 1700 m, at the Rifugio Alpino Salvatore Citelli in Via Mareneve, Sant'Alfio CT (GPS: 37.7651447, 15.0596647) until reaching the ridge of the Bove Valley, extensive depression that occupies most of the eastern flank of the vol- cano, where you can see many lava flows.
Along the way you will encounter lunar landscapes and rich Etnei woods, as well as a 350 m long cave, which can be visited with helmets and torches.
