Overview
Dive deep into the history of great art and architecture in Florence with this all-access tour to the city’s most jaw-dropping attractions. From the heights of Florence Cathedral’s enormous dome to the hallowed halls of the Accademia, this exclusive tour is an art-lover’s dream.
Highlights
  • Use fast-entry tickets at the Accademia Gallery and Florence Duomo
  • Make use of privileged access inside Florence Duomo and enjoy close-up views
  • Go straight to Michelangelo’s David on a tour of the Accademia Gallery
  • Enjoy less waiting and more interaction with your guide on a small-group tour
What to Expect
In the early morning, you’ll head to Piazza San Marco to meet your guide and head straight inside Florence’s Accademia Gallery with your skip-the-line ticket. Make your way straight to the masterpiece of Michelangelo’s David, and hear how the statue came to symbolize the Florentine Republic, before you admire the artist’s unfinished I Prigioni works.
Stroll onward to Florence Baptistery to learn about the Medici, the de facto rulers of Renaissance Florence—many of whom were baptized in the monument. From the baptistery, you’ll step inside the Florence Duomo museum and step back in time as you see how the original façade once looked. Head into the duomo itself, and get close-up looks at some of the sites that are roped-off to the general public.
Finish on a high note as you ascend to the duomo’s terraces and climb a little further, if you wish to reach the top. Your tour ends at the terraces.

Do your self a favor and book now! the climb was totally worth it. The top was breath-taking. The corridor was very tight at times and caution is aired to those with claustrophobia.

Without doubt, the best investment you can make in Florence, to truly experience the Accademia and the Duomo. Our local guide, Vanessa, was the essence of Italian hospitality who expertly educated her city's guests.

No, you can't. You go on to tour parts of Florence and, as I recall, the Bapistry and the outside of the Duomo. I suppose you could skip the rest of the tour and stay in the Accademia?
