Admire the Palazzo Vecchio, once the Florentine seat of government, and cross the Ponte Vecchio bridge into Oltrano, where locals relax and eat out.
Enjoy a delicious Florentine gelato, and stop to see the Palazzo Pitti and birthplace of Lisa Gherardini, the model for Leonardo da Vinci’s ‘Mona Lisa.’
