We had saved Apeldoorn. It is close to our hometown of Ede, but the train connection is poor, the station is difficult to reach and parking is expensive. In retrospect, we should have parked in the center parking garage because it is close to Coda (trail starting point). We parked at Orpheus, which was a bit of a further walk but fine. (€7/day)
As far as CODA is concerned: a great starting place. It is really a center for the "Apeldoorners?" With a large, cozy and relaxed café. So we started there with a cup of coffee. The center of Apeldoorn is full of beautiful large houses. We have been to the Oranjerie shopping center a lot in the past and it is a shame to see that many shops are now empty. We were amply compensated in the longest shopping street in the Netherlands.
What we think is a shame nowadays is that there are more and more time questions in the qula trails. That takes a lot of searching (walking) without knowing what you are looking for. Probably has to do with our age and the fact that we are not very good at it 😭🤣.
The selfie still does not work with the new Oppo phone despite advice and help from Media Markt. There is progress; I now receive an unsolicited photo of my cover page.

a family outing, everyone initially thought, we know the city, but at the end we all discovered something we didn't know yet.
