Nice boat tour and great crew!

We saw the Flagship boat passing us in the afternoon and it looked quite cool and not as crowded as the bigger boats. We googled it and spontanously walked to Anna Frank House, where the tours start to check, if there were some spots available. First, we were a bit "shocked" because there was such a big line but one of the team members assured us, it would only take about 15 minutes of waiting. And he was right!
You are actually able to stand in line without buying a ticket before, to be more flexible, or if you want to go on the boat for a certain time, make sure to buy the ticket online in advance. They will always let people with tickets "skip" the line and fill up the seats with ppl without ticket.

Once on the boat, its full, but still comfortable. The crew on board (Anwar and Els) were very kind and told us a lot of details about the city and were very eager to explain or answer any questions. They serve drinks from beer to longdrinks, prices on board are not cheap but okay :) We were happy choosing Flagship for the Grachtentour and that everything worked out so complicated.

EXCELLENT OPEN-AIR CANAL CRUISES

Excellent option to have a different view of Amsterdam from the canals, travelling in an open-air boat during one hour from the main canals of the city. The boats have a capacity for approximately 20-25 people. They offer drinks during the trip. The skipper and the host, in our case, Elmar and Bo, explained to us a lot of interesting things about what we saw during the cruise and answered questions in a very kind manner. Flagship starts its canal cruises from Anne Frank House at Prinsengracht 263 and tickets can be purchased in advance in their web. These young people are very professional and deserve a very positive review. Very recommendable!

Highlight of our 1 day trip!

I don’t usually write reviews but this experience is worth it. My mom and I had an incredible time on July 28 with Bas and Dara as our guides. It was our first time in Amsterdam and we only had one day so we walked all over the city and scheduled the 9PM boat ride to end the day which I would highly recommend. The sun was setting so the canals were quiet and the wine and cheese were a great touch. Bas and Dara were so personable, answering all of our questions and taking the time to explain the history of Amsterdam and it’s canal system. They truly made the trip! We’re from NYC so we were expecting it to be cheesy to some extent but this didn’t feel that way at all. They were locals and we learned a lot from them on our short trip. Don’t hesitate to book this experience.

A fun and casual way to see Amsterdam from the water
Loved this canal cruise in Amsterdam! A more modern, fun and casual way to see the city from the water than the more traditional canal cruises (rondvaartboten).

The open boat was comfortable, clean and casual and our guides Melle and Morgang were super friendly fun and knowledgeable.

You can order drinks and small snacks onboard if you like and you just pay for consumption at the end.

Can highly recommend this experience whether you’re a tourist or ‘Amsterdammer’ like us.

Very pleased experience with this open boat tour
Great experience with this open boat tour at Flagship Amsterdam. The small open boat was very stable and have wide view. Both the skipper Hans and the Host Marija spoke English and told us a lot of stories about the canals and surrounding area. It was a very informative and happy trip. Amsterdam's canals are extremely beautiful. I strongly recommend this kind of small open boat rather than the bigger boat with roof.

Excellent Canal Cruise!
We booked the 1 hour luxury canal tour online just a couple hours beforehand with great ease. The meeting point outside Anne Frank’s House (the original front door opposite the canal, not the museum) was easy to find. The boat arrived about 15 minutes before departure time where we met a friendly member of staff who greeted us and confirmed our booking. We chose to do the 5.30pm slot so that we would see Amsterdam transform from day to night. Although it was a cloudy day, it was beautiful watching all the lights around the canals turn on once the sun had set. The boat itself was comfortable and fit about 20 people on - smaller but not as busy as some of the other canal cruise companies we had seen. Due to weather it was covered with a removable roof which kept us warm and dry, but still allowed us to look out clearly. We were provided with biscuits whilst the two super friendly and informative tour guides filled us with lots of information about the canals and the buildings we were passing - most of which were things we never would have known about otherwise. They kept it light hearted and funny to prevent it from becoming boring and they were also very helpful in giving us recommendations and advice on restaurants and anything else that we asked of them. Would definitely recommend anyone who wants to do a canal tour to book through flagship.

Absolutely great - a must do!
Searching for a way to do an Amsterdam canal cruise we were fortunate to discover the Flagship Amsterdam offerings. Smaller and extremely comfortable boats with heated polstered seats, cushions and blankets and fresh made drinks and cocktails served onboard match well with the "luxury" branding of the tour. It definitely felt and looked like the better option from all other tour boats that we passed. Our captain and guide, Charlie, provided the extra spark that made the entire experience shine through even though we went on a grey and somewhat rainy day.
I will not hesitate to recommend Flagship to anyone looking for a pleasureable canal cruise with that little (actually a lot...) extra that you just don't get from the large commercial operators. You really don't want to save a couple of euros to find yourself on a standard tour when you can get the luxury experience for just a bit more.

We really enjoyed this cruise. We went in the evening around 8:00 and got to see the canal as the sun was setting and the city lights were switching on. Andre and Merel were very friendly and did a great job of pointing out interesting spots along the way!

We booked a canal cruise for a certain time and reality was they either overbooked or toke anyone who wanted to ride by accepting payment on the boat. They were 45 late and should in long lines. Also very hard to hear person doing the tour.

We were a large group booking: 8, then 2 last minute cancellations due to illness. To book 8 on a Sunday meant some communications with very kind Roos, who graciously worked to accommodate an earlier time, prix fixe menu, and an advance partial payment was needed. All of that was fine with us. When we arrived, the staff could not have been more wonderful. They were efficient, knowledgeable, responsive and professional and kind throughout. The food was amazing, too. Course after course of excellent fish dishes served family style. Perfect for our group, and that approach meant that we all got to taste every delicious plate. It was just very festive, as the food contributed to our conversation throughout! A truly delightful experience. Highly recommend!
