A big Yes!
Nov 2020
I love MC Escher so this lovely palace museum was all the more tantalizing and wonderful for me. Each room is full of elegant decor of the time made more magical by his works hanging there just asking to be gawked at. A great way to spend an afternoon. (the interactive sections were also good.)

An interesting experience
Sep 2019
I was very interested in visiting this museum, but once inside it can get a little bit repetitive. It is nice to see a few of Escher pictures, but after you have seen a few rooms it get less and less interesting. It did not help that I visited it with my daughters, which also lost interest after a few rooms. Still is one of the best museums in The Hague.

What a way to discover the fabulous work of Escher. His art must have been very time consuming. So happy I learned about this brilliant Dutch artist. There is a good short film about his life as well. Highly recommended.

The amazing work of Escher
Aug 2019
This work is of the highest level and is a must see if you are anywhere near Den Hague. If you do not know his works read up before your visit. Do not miss this museum! I missed it twenty years ago from ignorance. This time it was a must see and we stayed in nearby Delft to make the visit simple. If you have time do not miss Delft either.

Two for the price of one

As well as seeing so many of Escher’s fascinating pictures it was just and added bonus to view the old Royal Palace. The museum was fascinating. I was totally unaware of Escher’s work but was completely taken with his view of the world.
Definitely well worth the entrance fee!!!!

One of the most stunning collections of Escher
Dec 2019
We bought a combo ticket for Escher palace and Madurodam. The place was filled with striking sketches of Escher. Some of the sketches were mind bending. My favourites were the famous tessellation and "the circle limit". There were many sketches of dreamscapes and landscapes. Some intriguing self portraits of Escher were also there. To beat this all, there was a souvenir shop selling postcards of Escher sketches. There were also some clever multimedia installations and illusions in the top floor. Do not miss the opportunity to get your own photograph in "Escher room"! This place was totally worth the spend.
