Excellent time on Santa Bernarda ship yesterday evening. I have a fear of boats and getting sea sick, so I was nervous about going onto the boat. However, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The boat sailed very smoothly and I felt relaxed and safe. It was really cool to get onto a smaller boat to be able to see the caves, again I was nervous about this but the staff reassured me and helped you get on and off the small boats.
We were able to see the sunset and actually sail towards it, this was a beautiful experience and feel very lucky to experience this and share this moment with my family.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and approachable. He could speak many languages and spoke very clearly. The facts were extremely interesting.

It was really easy to book, Paula was very quick to reply by booking via WhatsApp. We went with our teen boys who loved jumping off the pirate boat! The caves were great and a small selection of sandwiches and drinks onboard. Would recommend to take your own too.

This is quite possibly the best €35 I have ever spent. The whole trip was superb, all the crew were engaging and fun. If your in the area I would highly recommend spending an afternoon on a pirate adventure. Life is about creating memories and today was a memory.

Had a fantastic afternoon out on this ship and then on the wee boat going into the caves. It was a lot of fun and very exciting and a totally great experience. The staff are very highly skilled and experienced and I would put my trust in every single one of them. We were very impressed with them all. We then had a very lovely bonus when the dolphins rocked up and joined the party. The skipper knew what he was doing and slowed the boat down so the dolphins loved this and hung around for ages. Very delighted 😁😁😁

It's a nice trip on the "piraten-ship" with a friendly crew. During the trip you change the boat for a smaller one to enter the caves. It was windy but I felt completely safe, these people are very expeienced! The best attraction in Portimao and surroundings.

Many providers for the same tours, i.e. boat + caves but NO ONE matches this! What about sailing on a boat that look likes the Black pearl (well, Brown Pearl should be more appropriate for this one...). All people from the other tours were taking pictures of this amazing boat. Absolutely massive and beautiful. It felt like we were max 10 people while we were probably around 40 or 50? great space, many places to be and have a wonderful look over the coast and the caves. it is really a special experience and you feel you have made something different. Like you took a break in your crazy life and just took time for something special. Not sure you will have the same feeling with the other tours when you are shoulder to shoulder to visit one cave after the other on a small speedy boat bumping over the sea. I could take hundreds of pics during our 3+ hour tour, which would not have been possible on fast boats. This is really something special, out of its time, and different. We ALL (wife + kids) LOVED it.
Staff is friendly and relaxed.
Chose this one to make a special day count.

Probably the best way to experience the caves around Portimao, the ship looks like out of an movie the small boats get into all the caves, and the crew is very friendly and helpful. The captain also gave us plenty of information about our surroundings. We booked our tikets with Paula from Portimao she was also very helpful in assisting us making the right choice :)

The boat was novel and it was an enjoyable trip. However the crew were not very friendly (perhaps channelling their inner pirates) and although there was cursory information provided in English, the focus was far more on providing information in German (the German commentary lasted far longer than the English). The trip round the caves in the small boats was interesting although the boats didn't feel very safe at times and we ended up soaked through. Was glad we saw the caves but probably wouldn't join the Santa Bernarda again.

El tour es en inglés y portugués pero hablan otros idiomas e intentan explicar lo mejor que pueden en español, francés, alemán y otros idiomas. They speak several languages and do their best to try to explain in spanish, english, portuguese, french, german... Not perfect but good enough.

The tour takes from 2:30 hours to 3 hours. Yes, there's shade for the little people, but just to be sure about it, be on time to be one of the first ones. The families with children always enter first anyway.
