Fátima, Nazaré, and Óbidos Small-Group Day Trip from Lisbon
From US$89.17
Overview
Travel between three of Portugal’s most popular cities with ease on a hassle-free day trip from Lisbon, a great way to tick off more attractions in less time. On this relaxed, small-group excursion limited to only eight people, visit UNESCO-listed Batalha Monastery, explore the quaint fishing town of Nazaré, and discover the romantic medieval village of Óbidos. Plus, see the word-famous pilgrimage site of Fátima, which attracts millions of Christian pilgrims every year.
What to Expect

At a designated meeting point in central Lisbon, board an air-conditioned coach destined for Fátima, Nazaré, and Óbidos. The first stop is the religious site of Fátima. Hear about the 1917 apparition of Our Lady of Fátima, and visit the Sanctuary of Fátima, a world-renowned pilgrimage site.

Continue to the Batalha Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to the Founder’s Chapel, and take a guided tour. Then, travel to the fishing village of Nazaré to break for lunch (own expense).

The next stop is Óbidos, a medieval village typified by Gothic facades and serpentine streets. Stroll around Óbidos, stopping to sample Ginja liqueur and browse for souvenirs.

The tour concludes with drop-off at your original departure point in Lisbon.

Ask for Rodrigo

This day trip could not have been better. It was a highlight of our 16 day trip. Rodrigo is the perfect tour guide - and an excellent driver. He had information and stories about each place we visited. And he is an extremely kind and...More

Great place to visit but very crowded

We loved this place but be prepared to battle the crowds. If you are with a tour group, don't get separated. The gift shop is nice but be prepared to wait in line 30 minutes if buying an item. A must see while in Portugal.

Not always things turn out as planned.

We did not have a good start. Our guide and/or conductor was sick so after a couple of blocks of our pickup, he stopped the van and told us somebody else was coming to take care of us and he was going to the hospital....More

Fatima, Nazareth and obidos day trip

My wife and I took this tour today and enjoyed every minute. While the three sites were fascinating, the lovely sea-side town of Nazare and Obidos were spectacular. Our guide Pedro gave informative observations about the history, culture, and legends surrounding these sites. He also...More

A long day, but Joao made it great

Leaving at 9am and returning after 6 makes for a long day. The saving grace was our guide Joao. He was knowledgeable and engaging and made it interesting from beginning to end. I would have given the tour a 5, but Viator didn’t warn us...More

Taxis aren’t very expensive, I’d suggest them. Depending on when you get to port and can get off the ship it’s about a 20 to 30 minute walk. If you have time at the end of the day (tour gets back around 6pm) you consider... More

You would want to leave the van to go into Fatima. On our tour there would have been room to store in the vehicle, but really- ask the tour operator.
