We have just got back from a full day of activities- we started at 7.30 in the morning and didn’t get back until 7.30pm. We had four stops, including an amazing afternoon snow-mobiling with Nico! Our tour guide was called Emilia. She was wonderful! Full of energy, super kind, gave us so much information and the day went to smoothly. Thank you to Emilia for making our trip so much fun. Easy way to get to Reykjavik, you do get dropped off at the bus hostel which is a nice place to wait for the bus or a cab.

Having previously visited Iceland in 2007, I was keen to go back with my Wife. I booked back in July 5 nights in the Centre, and pre booked 8 excursions, of course I didn't then know that the Volcano would disrupt my plans. Anyway Reykjavik Excursions (RE) emailed me before I left the UK to refund the Blue Lagoon as it was closed, I rebooked for the Hammsvik Hot Spring. We arrived for an early flight from Luton, only to find it was delayed by 9 hours and actually departed after the earlier afternoon flight. So in departure lounge I phoned RE, as I had a Superjeep Northern lights trip at 8pm booked, no issue they would switch to another night , but al other nights were fully booked, so emailed me to refund and advised to book the much cheaper Big Bus tour which I did. Weds-Arrived at the Hotel at Midnight - so basically lost the first day, no compensation from Earyjet as it was due to weather. Thurs- We had a walking tour booked for 10:00am, then Hamsvigg at 2pm, then Big Bus at 9pm. All good particularly the Hot Spring, never saw the lights on the Big Bus which basically parked in a carpark with 15 other coaches in the freezing cold. Fri -Next Day, we did the Golden Circle, great trip, That night was due to do Northern Lights by Boat but RE cancelled due to cloud. Okay tried to rebook, and ended up switching around small bus northern lights with Boat trip as Boat trip fully booked next night. Sat -we did Whale Watching- school boy error, there arent whales until May to Sept; so saw nothing but freezing sea. and small bus northern lights- freezing saw nothing. Sun-Did South Shore, good but long trip, received telephone call to say Northern Lights By boat cancelled due to bad weather- received full refund. Monday flew home, then played tag about getting the £760 refunds, which after some to & fro we did. Lesson learned, whilst waiting at the Bus stops to go on the various trips, there are several local companies, Reyjalvik Excursions, Trolls, Nice, Greyline might be others. Wait until you get there to book, as its fairly clear from the weather if its going to happen or not, saves a lot of bother emailing, phoning etc to try and ger refunds.

I fantastic trip visiting lots of beautiful places on Iceland’s south coast. Our guide, Hrafn, was amazing - very knowledgeable and entertaining with plenty of Icelandic folk tales to tell. A really great day out.

Amazing trip! The views were amazing especially the waterfall😍 Transport was comfortable and the instructions on where to get picked up are super easy. HUGE thank you to our guide Oliver, he was very informative and always happy to help and certainly made our trip more enjoyable!

The day was amazing and fun. Darren was entertaining and informative and Milan was a great driver. The bus was very comfortable. The tour was well organised and safe, and delivered on expectations.

Darren and Kamil were exceptional tour guides. Darren for his chat and keeping us well informed, without boring us and Kamil for his first class driving. Would love to have these two next time as will definitely take this tour again.

This was a trip of a lifetime! We had an amazing time and it was such a wonderful experience! We were very lucky with the weather on a beautiful clear day with the sun shining! I would recommend this tour to anyone! Our host Darren and driver Kamil were great! Darren taught us so much about Iceland with his great humour and anecdotes! To top the day off we even got engaged in front of the Gullfoss waterfall! A perfect day!

All I can say is WOW! The waterfalls were amazing. Great guide who was a wealth of information. Had so e good food in the town of Vik.

I appreciate the experience of the driver and the guide was very accommodating. They made sure we got to see the lights as they were on display instead of focusing on making it to a specific destination.

Darren and Greg is awesome it was a geat experience , we want to come back to visit and spend more tome to explore the whole country

They won't refund you in case of flight cancellations and flight delays! They don't care. I will never book with them again. Flybus refunded me after my flight was cancelled, they didn't. I do not recommend!

We had the most amazing day doing the golden circle tour. We were very privileged to have Darren as our tour guide and Helgi as our driver. They instantly put us at ease. Was great to be able to explore the attractions ourselves and spend time chatting on the bus and giving us lots of knowledge and interesting facts about Iceland! There was a brilliant atmosphere and everyone was relaxed and just enjoyed themselves.
