South Coast Classic Day Trip from Reykjavik with Guide and Touchscreen Audio
US$95.04
Overview
The southern coast of Iceland is home to the Sólheimajökull Glacier, Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, and Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, but seeing all of them in one day can be difficult. This tour lets you visit all the highlights of the southern coast with ease, providing a touchscreen audio guide and onboard Wi-Fi so you can stay connected and upload photos throughout the day. Plus, convenient hotel pickup and drop are included.
What to Expect

In the morning, depart from your Reykjavik hotel for your tour of Iceland’s south coast. Travel by bus with your guide to the lava fields in Hengill. From here, you can admire the Hekla Volcano, the Eyjafjalljökull Volcano and the Vestmannaeyjar Islands.

Pause to explore the Seljalandsfoss Waterfall. Then continue on to Skógafoss Waterfall and access a lookout point with panoramic views.

Snap pictures of the ice fields at the Sólheimajökull Glacier. Afterwards, you can walk on the dark turf of Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. At the end of the day, the bus returns you to your hotel.

Best trip during our first 4-day stay in Iceland

What can I say? It is a MUST DO. Ask for Marco as your guide. He's a specialist in volcanos, got great tips about Iceland in general and very entertaining. The Touchscreen Audio (gps activated) guide was a great inclusion.

Johanna (I hope I spelled her name right) and "Thor" were great! We did the South Coast Classic and it was a long 12 hour day but worth it. They were certainly patient with the dummies who showed up late and were late for departures,...More

It lasts all of 12 hours, collection is usually around 8.00am which means getting ready by 7.00 and you return around 7.00pm. It’s a lot of time in a bus but I guess you get to see the main sites without to much fuss. You... More
