Had the best two days exploring the south coast of Iceland with our guide David! The bus is small only 10 people on the tour, with Wifi and charging points. David, was a great guide - friendly and informative, and a great driver even in very windy and icy winter conditions. The stop for lunch on the first day is not to be missed. The Guesthouse accommodation is nothing special but totally fine for one night, we did however find the dinner overpriced. We had a chicken dish and two drinks each (two bottles of beer and two small glasses of wine) and it was £75! But that’s Iceland prices and totally worth it for the sights included. You can of course take a packed lunch and something for dinner and the breakfast (included) the next day is plentiful. 1000% recommend this tour!!

Best tour I could have taken. Our guide Guolli was extremely flexible and pivoted to make the most of our tour despite the weather. He took advantage of the great weather on the first day to make extra stops and allow us to take pictures, and rode out the storm on the second day when the roads closed. Each of the stops was incredible and I'm so glad I did the two day tour rather than trying to find something that crammed these into 1. The hotel we stayed at was also perfect to see the Northern Lights - didn't even have to pay for another tour! Our guide also had a phone that took amazing pictures with people in them of the northern lights and took each of our photos - I'll be forever grateful to have that photo he took!

This is a good travel experience, which opened my eyes and deeply felt the mystery of nature. The tour guide was very attentive and responsible, and arranged our trip properly when we encountered a special condition, and he handled it very well. It also led us to track the Northern Lights and taught us the skills of shooting the Northern Lights, which are beyond the preset itinerary. If you want to participate in the local tour of Iceland, I highly recommend NiceTravel, especially the guide David.

We had an amazing two day trip with Jonas! We saw so many beautiful sights and Jonás was very informative giving us a lot of information about the area. He also did a good job with adding in a few extra stops and breaking up the driving a bit. The accommodations were good - no private bathroom. The dinner and breakfast (included with the tour) we’re tasty. We got lucky and saw the northern light on our night at the farmhouse. The blue ice caves are spectacular!

This is the only tour I booked while in Iceland. I had a couple days to kill before my friend arrived and saw pictures of this blue ice cave. Based on reviews I selected NiceTravel and I'm so glad I did. Communication regarding pick up was clear and easy to follow. Our guide was full of great information and an absolute pleasure. I've waited too long to write this review and cannot remember his name. I can't count how many times I've shared tidbits of information with friends and family that I learned from him. Accommodation was nice. They did a nice job making the long drive interesting with beautiful waterfall stops along the way. The Blue Ice Cave hike had a different guide who was all so lovely. The cave in person and the cave and pictures are different but both breathtaking. In-person expect a milkier blue than what you see in pictures. Highly recommended.

Tour Guide: Eider (I might be misspelling his name) was really nice and he was an excellent driver in very windy, rainy, and snowy conditions! We felt very safe and enjoyed all of our stops. We enjoyed his tour information and he even hung out with us for a little while for New Year's Eve which was fun!

One recommendation to NiceTravel tours (if they are reading this) would be to reconsider how much time is spent at which stops. For example, our first day of the tour was spent seeing some of Iceland's beautiful waterfalls. They were lovely! However, we had 40 minutes at each waterfall and when we finally got to the World Famous Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach - we were only given 20 minutes. This really did not feel like enough time there to really be able to enjoy that destination. It was beautiful but it would have been nice to have had more time at the beach, to be able to explore the beach and actually be able to go to the restaurant and restrooms there. Perhaps one of the waterfall excursions could be long but maybe shorten the other waterfall stops a little bit so the beach can be a longer stop? Also, on Day 2, we had I think only 15 to 20 minutes at Glacier Beach area before we moved over to the Glacier Lagoon in which there we had 1 hour and 50 minutes. These stops are very close to each other, it would have been nice to have a little bit more time at the beach because we were there so early in the morning, there was very little daylight available yet for pictures of the beautiful ice chunks washing up on the beach. We very much appreciate that we were able to see so many wonderful and truly gorgeous places in Iceland! And we felt very safe and taken care of with Eider. We just wish the time allowance at a few of the stops had been divided up a bit differently to allow more time at a few of the destinations. ;)

Anyone who might be considering using NiceTravel for a tour - we enjoyed that they had a smaller tour service, more of a minibus size rather than a huge bus, so you have a more intimate tour and travel group. The other people on our bus were very friendly and after two days of traveling together, we all visited with each other, took photos together, and enjoyed all of the stops. It was a "nice" group! :)

For those traveling to Iceland, regardless of whether or not you decided to take a guided tour - bring waterproof clothing! We did have wind and waterproof coats but alas, we did not have waterproof pants. One of our days there rained ALL DAY so after a third trip off of our bus for an excursion our pants were pretty soaked, haha.

Thank you NiceTravel, Eider, and Icelanders for such a beautiful and special trip! We hope to make it back one day!

Awe Inspiring is all I can say. If your on the fence do it. Axel was our tour guide and what I appreciated about him is how cool and collected he was during some of the harsh conditions you come up against driving through Iceland. He was professional and informative. Everything we saw was breath taking and gorgeous. My husband and I agreed that the Ice Caves were the highlight of our entire trip. We loved working with Nice Travel. We had already booked two tours with them. Decided to change the date on one of them and they were very accommodating. Then we decided to expand our second tour to a two day tour and again so happy to help us out. They even offered a discount, we will definitely use them again, we hope to do a Sunmer tour as well. Everything was clean well organized. The Guesthouse (Gerdi’s) was so awesome. The dinner was so good and the breakfast that was included was very special. The beds were very comfortable and everything was pristine. They had hot coffee and tea available all the time. You won’t be disappointed by picking this trip.

If you would have any expectations, they surely will be exceeded. Two days of highlights while travellling through the magical and quiet snowy and divers Icelandic landscapes was quite an experience. Glaciers, lavafields, ice caves, waterfalls, cliffs, glacier lake, black beach, volcanoes, icelandic horses, sunsets and sunrises, quality restaurants for lunch, free clamp-ons to use for your safety, stops at restrooms, ...

All means of transports during this tour are comfortable, heated, safe and conducted by experienced drivers (shuttle + ice caves). Food and comfort during the sleepover were good value.

David was our guide and we couldn't have wished for a better one. He's a professional driver with decent historical and geological knowledge of the entire surroundings and additional knowledge about ice climbing, glacier hiking, fishing,... We did multiple extra stops which were not scheduled and even got to see the northern lights twice for free ;-) As David is a dedicated guide, Iceland-lover and people entertainer I must say that this trip with Nice Travel was very very niiiice.

Additional to this tour I would advice to book a 1 day golden circle tour + a visit to Blue Lagoon so you have a 4 day program in which you already get to see a lot of Iceland. You must of course have a bit of luck wether or not you get the chance to see the northern lights.

Unbelievably AMAZING experience!!!! This was, by far, the best part of our Iceland trip. Our guide, Christina, was THE BEST! She was so fun, played great music to fit the mood and made extra stops at viewpoints and for ice cream. She made an already unforgettable trip even more fantastic.
The scenery was STUNNING! Despite the cold and windy weather, we had a blast. Wonderful photo opportunities, Wi-Fi on the van and great stops for food. The hotel was super cute and quaint and we were even able to see a reindeer. Our favorite part was the journey to the ice cave and Diamond Beach. By the end of the trip our entire group became great friends. This trip far exceeded our expectations; it's a must for any Iceland trip!!!!! We would definitely recommend!!!

Just finished this 2-day tour with guide Gulli and it was incredible and worth every Euro!

Nice Travel is very organised and responsive and any questions we had, they were quick to respond to. The trip ran like clockwork in a new Mercedes comfortable van.

The drives are fairly long but divided with various sights and didn't feel too bad.

The waterfalls are impressive, the beaches interesting and the blue ice caves...... breathtaking.

I hesitated before booking this but I am so glad we got to experience this magic - do not think twice .... book now!

And don't forget to tip your driver!
