    Ishestar Horse Riding Tours
    Stop: 7 hours -
The tour starts with a shorter introductory ride in the morning (Lava tour) before we make a stop for lunch. Upon completing lunch, we continue exploring the different gaits of the Icelandic horse – be prepared to ride trot, the unique tölt or short canter in the beautiful scenery. At Íshestar we take pride in our personal service and limit group sizes to be 20 or below per riding group to ensure a safe and enjoyable tour for all of our guests. We look forward to showing you the Icelandic horse in its natural surroundings! Our stables are located a short 20-minute drive outside of Reykjavik’s city center. Please note that the riding time is 4 ½ – 5 hours, a total of 7 hours with the transfer.

Dear Diana, Thank you for your kind words, it's always a pleasure when you visit us. Lína is such an exceptionally kind-hearted horse and the relationship you've developed with her is truly beautiful. All of us at Íshestar love the care and attention you give her each time you visit. We (and Lína) hope to see you soon again, hopefully in the summer next time! Best wishes, the office of Íshestar and all the guides who've had the privilege of riding with you and Lína.

We first rode with Íshestar on 12/21/19, doing the Viking tour. We are experienced riders and were matched with excellent, well cared for horses. The morning was an opportunity to first experience the tolt but the really amazing experience was galloping in the afternoon. We have

Thank you for your writing such a nice review. We do appreciate it. I'm glad you were happy with how we matched your horse. We have all kinds of nice horses, from very steady and calm suitable for nervous riders and children up to very fast and energetic horses, suitable only for very experienced riders. Hope you got some good rest after the ride and i hope to see you again next time you visit Iceland.
