I joined this skip-the-like Schonbrunn Palace tour with my two teenage children. The first part of the tour was ok. When we arrived at the palace, the tourist guide told us about putting our backpacks at the reception. I was carrying a small backpack so I went to ask him if I need to deposit my bag which he replied “no need” because it’s so small that it can be seen as a handbag. 2 mins later, seems like he forgot about what he told me, he asked why I didn’t deposit the backpack at the reception like everyone did. I told him I asked just couple of minutes ago and he said no need. Then he shouted at me and said I need to wear it like a handbag not like a backpack. I was totally shocked. I have never met a tourist guide so rude before. It could have been a great tour if the tourist guide was a bit friendlier.

We expected something different. The palace tour was spectacular and our guide was knowledgeable but the tour was in both English and Spanish and we only booked it in English. The city tour was also on a bus and we thought it would be on foot. It took too long! Guide was very knowledgeable of the city!

Dear Paola, thank you for your feedback. Since we want to offer the possibility to book our tours in different languages up to 30 minutes before departure, we do not limit our buses to just one language, so that all languages spoken by our guides can be offered on a daily basis on all our tours. The city tour has been developed to provide a compact overview of the Vienna Highlights in a short amount of time, and offers a fast track entry to the Schönbrunn Palace and a guided tour inside the rooms of Maria Theresia. This way, all customers who wants to see as much as possible in a short amount of time can enjoy all highlights in just 3,5 hours with the added value of a guided tour by our professional guides. We are happy to hear that you were satisfied with our tour guide. Sunny regards from Vienna, your VIENNA SIGHTSEEING team

This tour was a bus ride to the palace with info in both English and German. I wish the tour would be conducted in just English (it gets quite tiring to hear that much German). The actual palace tour wasn't very long, we visited maybe 10 rooms (out of 1500!), there was no free time afterwards. We were rushed to get on the bus and to leave so we missed the beautiful part - the gardens. It is very crowded, not sure if I would recommend this particular tour

The Vienna historical overview was rushed, the guide simply stated the buildings that we were passing by and offered extremely brief and uninteresting facts about them. The Schonbrunn Palace was worse, as the guide seemed in a hurry and we barely spent time in a the interior of the palace. It was definitely not worth our money.

Guide just went through the motion to explain in a robotic manner , rushes through the palace ... not worth it at all . Tour was short n not worth the money . City tour was just pointing out this and that and that’s it!

The tour was rushed and led by tour guides who are bored with their jobs and thus boring. The tour was supposed to be English but they combined us with a Spanish speaking group so we heard everything in both languages. It was a challenge to listen, especially given the monotone of the guide. The tour of the palace was really rushed and still somehow we were allowed only 35 minutes in the garden, which is not enough time to see much.

Well organised . Had two guides and they split the group which made it better.
We could have wished we had more free time . 40 min are not enough. By the time we waited to use the loo and hand in our back pack it was time to go inside the Palace for the tour.

The description of the tour is misleading. I booked the English speaking tour. It was in English, but also in Spanish. This meant that half of the tour was spent with the guide saying the same thing twice in 2 different languages. Pretty much a waste of time.

We booked the tour few days before the visit. The guide ( a lady) was very knowledgeable and we found out a lot of details about Viena and about Schönbrunn. The weather was perfect and we decided to visit the gardens a little longer. Original time, allocated by the tour is 40 minutes. This is very short, as the gardens are huge and interesting. We therefore gave up the return with our group and spent about 3 hours in the park. You need to have comfortable shoes! But the whole trip is worth it!

Very nice tour of the highlights of Vienna. It was very cold on the Sunday of our tour and I only had a limited time so I was looking for a general half-day tour - this suited me very well. Our guide did a nice job of explaining the sites as we passed by, and seemed very knowledgeable during our guided tour of Schönbrunn Palace. (He spoke both Spanish and English on this tour). I inadvertently purchased a tour on-line for Monday, but they were very accommodating by allowing me to use the voucher for a Sunday tour. This proved to be a pleasant and warm way to see the sites during a very cold February Sunday in Vienna.
