Shark was a great guide, extremely knowledgeable, passionate and friendly. It was raining and it didn’t deter him or us. The market experience was a nice surprise, we were offered lots of different samples to taste and learnt about how the local produce was sourced.

Great tour. Started on time and very informative, open and friendly from the beginning till the end. Itineary included everything significant and possible to cover in a day. We did the walking tour of Male with Mash and had a wonderful time. He pointed out all the interesting sites and gave us many interesting Male facts. It was a very busy and interesting day as they were setting up for the inauguration of the new president.

Excellent walking tour and a lot of history being told while doing this Male’ city tour. Can not remember our tour guides name but he was a fabulous tour guide. Beautiful buildings and the park was so enchanting!! I do know if our tour guide could come to the United States, he said he would like to visit Alaska.

I have been on two tours with Secret Paradise (Snorkeling and Huraa) and if I had stayed longer, I would have loved to go on even more tours. The communication before and after booking was fast and customer oriented. The guide took time to educate about the rules of snorkeling in order to respect the nature, which I found extremely important. I felt safe at all time’s and both tours were a perfect mix in between learning and fun. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Ruth provided a great range of resorts for us to choose from and meticulously gave us a great overview of each. This resulted in us having the most fabulous family holiday. On arrival; Ruth's colleagues who were so welcoming, met us when we arrived and made sure we got to our destination. For our return leg home we were once again me and were given all the requisite information we need to check in and to get through departures. The trip through the local Maldives is surprising and recommended by the hand of Secret Paradise that cares for the environment, cares about investing in local businesses and its guides, also provide the plus of knowledge allowing you to delve into its culture and nature whatever you want.

Our tour was the most memorable part of the trip. I couldn't wait to learn more about Maldivian culture from locals, and Secret Paradise did not disappoint. My husband and I were met at the airport where our guide helped us store luggage and catch a ferry to the island of Male'. We spent the afternoon learning about everything from the history of the island to the food trends of current residents. We even got a chance to learn how to spell our names in Divehi (native language) while we stopped for tea. From the beautiful mosques to the city gardens, we got so much out of one day. Despite the packed agenda, we were never rushed and it felt like the tour was fluid, tailored slightly to our personalities and preferences.

I arranged a sunset cruise with Secret Paradise a few days before my arrival in the Maldives. The customer service was really helpful in answering all my questions and they offered an unforgettable experience during my stay. The two local guides made me feel very safe, as I was traveling alone, and I experienced everything that was listed in the tour. I would definitely recommend Secret Paradise if you are looking for a quick exploration around the Atoll.

I’m so happy to join such a meaningful Eco Tour to Villimale. I heard the detailed explanation from the founder of the NGO “Save The Beaches Maldives” what they have been doing to save the beaches and ocean of Maldives. We walked around Villimale and learned how the place changed. I also learned how they conserve the corals and educate people to protect the environment. Together with the guide of Secrete Paradise Shark, we had a tea time, enjoyed some local Maldivian snacks and talk of exchanging each other’s cultures. What a wonderful experience! I will come back to Maldives and hope to see you guys again!

This is another amazing time spent together with the guide from Secret Paradise, Shark. He is so knowledgeable and talented. He showed me around the capital Malé, explained in detail Maldives’ history and its culture. He also listened to me about how my hometown Macau is. What a meaningful cultural exchange experience. Personally I like arts and culture a lot, so we spent some time together to paint during the coffee break and learned a lot from him how to paint. We also have a walk in the local market and I bought many local snacks from there. So yummy! I highly recommend this tour to those like history and culture, and highly appreciated for the tour guide Shark for his professional explanation. He is also very friendly and polite and we become friends after the tour.
