Cover much more terrain than you would on foot during this Segway tour of Uluru. After detailed instruction from your guide, feel safe and comfortable navigating the two-wheeled, self-balancing, electric scooter around the base of the monolith while listening to the area's ancient aboriginal history. Round-trip transportation from Ayers Rock Resort means you can focus on the sights, not on directions.
  • Segway instruction and safety equipment means beginners welcome
  • Stress-free travel with hotel pickup and drop-off
  • Small group tour means an intimate atmosphere
  • Learn about the ancient history of Uluru through guided commentary
What to Expect
Begin your day at Uluru with convenient pickup at your Ayers Rock Resort hotel. Relax and enjoy the outback scenery on the journey to the Segway base, where you'll learn how to operate the scooter. Listen to a safety briefing, take a few practice loops, and head for Uluru. Riding a Segway allows you to cover a lot more ground than you would on foot. Head to the famous Mutitjulu Waterhole first, then complete the 6.2-mile (10-kilometer) loop around the enormous monolith. Along the way, listen to in-depth commentary from your guide about the ancient history of the Anangu aboriginal people, their reverence for the site, and the local flora and fauna. On the way back to the resort, relax and ask any questions you may have.

Hi, Thanks for the incredible review! We are so pleased and excited to hear that this is one of the best things you've done in your extensive travels. It is also brilliant to hear that you enjoyed your time with your guide Bree! She is so full of knowledge and a really good Segway riding instructor. Great tip about the nets for the flies - if you forget to bring one, we actually sell them from our site base also. We hope you are staying safe and well during this time and are dreaming about travels for the future. Cheers, From all of us at Uluru Segway Tours.

What an amazing experience. Initially we were worried about how we would go on a Segway and how safe they would be. Honestly, the are no problem at all and really safe not exceeding 10 km per hour. After a quick lesson we were off and the Segway soon becomes second nature. This

We were Segway novices but had been recommended by friends that this was THE way to visit Uluru, they were right! We were fortunate that it was just us two on the tour, with two guides, one to lead, one bringing up the rear, so we had 1-1 tuition on the little practice course

Hi Sarah, Thank you for your compliment. It is the coolest way to travel around Uluru. Your friends are totally right. Yes, during our tour the customers will learn about the sensitive sites of Uluru which our guides will explain the cultural reasons as to why no photos or video are allowed. It is a great idea to bring your own fly nets which can be worn over or under the helmets. We hope you have a wonderful day. Kind regards, Thomas Uluru Segway Tours 08 8956 3043 #ulurusegwaytours
