Vladimir is really knowledgeable and passionate about his city of Prague.
We started our tour with a lunch of duck, dumpling and cabbage with a litre of local beer which was a shock as all other tours we have been on are sampling stops ie piece of sausage on a stick system.
We then went on a 20 minute walk through Prague guided by Vladimir talking about the history of his wonderful city Prague.
Next stop we was introduced to some local canapes onto the next with Vladimir filling our minds with the history of Prague and his personal upbringing through the 80s and 90s. Next stop we was introduced to beef carpaccio which was fantastic. We then walked to 2 other establishments were we was introduced to a fantastic restaurant where we sampled a tasting plate of 5 dishes OMG fantastic but now really full followed by a local white wine, last but not least we entered a cake shop and sampled 2 types of dessert cakes and coffee. Rolled down to our hotel totally full and full of information on Prague. Congratulation Vladimir what a great way to discover the local eateries along with your cities history.

Vladimir was amazing! We had such a great time walking around and learning the history and cuisine of this beautiful European city. We went to a variety of restaurants, all walkable in the Old Town/New Town part of Prague. The food was tremendous and we couldn’t have had a better time. We have been on a couple of walking food tours and this was at the top of the list. When you come to Prague, you have to book a food tour with Vladimir!

The foodie tour was absolutely awesome and greatly enjoyable. Not only Vlad is a really knowledgeable guy, well versed in both local cuisine and local culture, but he is extremely well spoken, intelligent and fun to be around. The foodie stops were all really delicious, Vlad took really great care of us, and the tour was worth way more than its price. 100% would recommend, and 100% would do it again next time we are in Prague.

Great afternoon. Delicious and quality food in uniquely different places. Vlad is a generous and interesting host. It was a bit like wandering through Prague with a friend who lives there , updating us on the history and current cultural influences and letting us in on his favourite places to go. Definitely recommend

Vlad is a great host with an excellent knowledge of local restaurants and cuisine as well local history. This was a great experience exploring restaurants from Malestranska Namesti to the Powder tower where we ended with great pastries from Sucrar. I definitely had the most memorable food from my whole week in Prague.

Vladimir was an excellent guide for our tour, with clear explanations of the food, the history of Czechia and the local culture. He had several cancellations, so my husband and I were the only ones on the tour and we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon. I can't recommend this tour enough!

Everything other reviewers have said is true (good guide, lots of food, four stops, etc.). I’d like to add more. Most tours, even food tours, are organized by tour companies that hire guides (often college students) to work for them. The guides are usually adequate but sometimes not. It’s a crapshoot. In contrast, Vladimir is the actual owner of Prague Foodies. He himself personally leads every tour. And he is not just good. He’s outstanding. His English is superb, and as others have said, his personal stories and memories of his life in Prague greatly enrich this tour. What others have not said is that Vlad is a 40-something entrepreneur who started this business because he loves meeting people and ummasking Prague and the Czech Republic for them, through food, history and culture. His wide-ranging education and diverse life experience make him an extremely interesting person. His story of what he and his family experienced in the Velvet Revolution, for example, is riveting. Yet he knows when to be quiet as well. My husband and I are picky about guides; we can’t stand it when a guide is boorish and talks 100% of the time, for example, or just lectures us to deliger the required information without really connecting with us. Vladimir is a mature, genuine person who actually sees you and lets himself be seen by you. All the while giving great information about food, of course, because that is his focus. From that focus, there are many tangents that can be taken - and they are WORTH taking with an intelligent, gracious, cultivated gentleman such as Vladimir. HIGHLY recommended!

Vladimir was an amazing guide! He is very knowledgeable and friendly. The food and drink was fantastic and the company even better. There were 4 of us traveling together and 1 other person joined our tour. It didn’t take long for us all to feel like old friends. Vladimir is very good at keeping the conversation going. We didn’t just talk about the food but also some history, local politics, and what it’s like just to live in Prague.

Vlad met us at our hotel around 11:30 and the tour officially started at noon when we met the 5th member of the tour after a quick tram ride. I believe we stopped at four different restaurants and ate a fairly wide variety of dishes. It was a lot of food so go hungry; we actually skipped breakfast in the morning. Most memorable was definitely the tongue which I’ve never had in my life. It was pretty tasty; just don’t think about it. Also, we drank Czech beer and Czech wines which were great. We ended with coffee and dessert (get what Vladimir recommends!). We stopped at some neat spots in between as well, including the only part of the river that isn’t surrounded by walls. There were a ton of swans. I want to say it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 hours total and it went by really fast.

Also, my girlfriend is in a wheelchair and Vladimir was super awesome designing the tour to be wheelchair accessible. He called ahead to all the places to make sure they were accessible and had accessible bathrooms.
