I find bicycle tours to be the best way to get acquainted with a city on day one of a trip. Even in early February this theory proved true. Gyorge was an attentive leader as he navigated the streets with obvious awareness of traffic timings. His passion for history shone through in his descriptives. He tailored the information to the interests and origins of his riders, and welcomed queries as they arose. I look forward to returning with friends and family to share the wonders of Budapest.

Best thing we did in Budapest, Andrea was our guide and she was so helpful, polite and knowledgeable.
We had the electric bikes which takes some of the strain off the legs on a hot day. Good routes covered with very little road use so we felt safe all the time.
The tour we did covered a break and the the tour company covered a langros and drink which was lovely.
Andrea also was very good at recommending different other activities which we did and were perfect.
The bikes were in top condition and obviously well maintained too, good stuff!

We booked the bike tour with seven friends (19yo). The guides were very friendly and knew a lot of interesting facts about the city. We learned a lot, but it didn’t feel like a history class at all. Our tour lasted 2.5 hours, and that was a perfect amount of time. We saw the highlights of the city in a chill and relaxed way. We had a great experience, so we really recommend doing one!

Christian was informative and a good guide. Sister and I enjoyed all aspects of tour. The stops were at good points, information provided was interesting. Good quality bikes. Break for food and drink (no costs incurred). Would highly recommend.

We usually try to do a bike tour in each city we travel. This was by far the worst. Our tour guide went at a fast pace, she didn’t make sure the other riders were with her and often lost people, she stopped in the full sun to tell us about monuments on several occasions when it was in the 90s and blazing hot and shade was available, and the trek over the bridge to Buda to see one small statue of Sisi with very little explanation and the bridge/castle you can see from the Pest side is not worth the strenuous ride over the bridge. No warning for uphill so you can put your bike in a lower gear. Many riders on our bike tour were unhappy with the circumstances. On the plus side, our guide was very nice and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, she’s soft spoken and you couldn’t hear her 60% of the time. I read the reviews about too many people on this tour and I ignored them; do yourself a favor and find another bike tour company. There are lots of bike tours once you get to Budapest to choose from.

My husband and I LOVED this tour! It was a great way to see all the main sites in town, on the Pest side. Erika was exceptional! She was super nice and ensured my husband and I were comfortable the whole tour. She also gave a very informative history of Hungary which we felt was very beneficial to us understanding this beautiful city and country.

Having visited Budapest many times, this was the most enjoyable way to take in many sights in a 4 hour period. Our fantastic , friendly guide Hunor was very engaging and told us lots of interesting details and stories you may not find in a guidebook . The Strudel House was also a highlight. A great day out.

Thanks Anna for super 4 hour tour all at a relaxed pace with drinks and strudel cake half way round. Very informative information on buildings and history but not too deep! Everyone’s bike worked fine, nearly all the route off road on dedicated cycle paths. Enjoy !
