What to Expect
Meet your guide outside the main gates of Arlington National Cemetery at the time chosen at checkout. A small group size ensures full attention from your guide. As you pass through green fields dotted with white tombstones, stop at the final resting places of former US presidents. The guide ensures you don’t get lost in the cemetery’s 624 acres, and points out tombstones you might miss if visiting on your own. Next, make your way to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The tour is timed so that you are able to view the incredible precision of the hourly changing of the guard ceremony. Afterwards, follow your guide to the former home of Gen. Robert E. Lee and see other gravesites. The tour ends in the cemetery.
