Big Bus Washington DC Night Tour
From US$45.00
Overview
Washington DC transforms at night when its national monuments and memorials are illuminated. Avoid the hassle of navigating the city in the dark with this convenient 2-hour bus tour. The top deck will provide sweeping views that you wouldn’t be able to see on foot, and on-board commentary will give you context as you pass each landmark.
What to Expect
Start your evening at one of two convenient pickup locations—the Willard Hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue, or Union Station. Climb aboard and settle into your seat on the top or bottom deck. Seats are first come, first served, so get there early to secure your preference.
Depart at sunset, just as the national monuments begin to glow in the evening light. A guide will provide live commentary in English as you pass each point of interest, but recorded commentary is available in a range of other languages.
Gain a new perspective on the city as you pass the Capitol Building, Washington Monument, various war memorials, and the White House.
Weather permitting, step off the bus at the Lincoln Memorial. The nighttime tour gives you the opportunity to see its striking illuminated pillars reflected in the water opposite the memorial. End the evening back at your pick-up location.

Although it is advertised that it leaves at 6:30p, apparently that time is for when the “queue” stats to form. We eventually started moving by 7:20pm. The tour itself is very nice to see with live english commentary, and I suggest that you do this...More

Yes! That is what we did. If you buy through the sightseers pass you must check in at Union Terminal for the night tour.
