The views you get on this tour are breath taking. There are places on the islands you would never be able to see except by small plane or boat which makes the entire experience exceptional.
This is a small business so changes are possible but not cancelations. In their fine print it clearly explains that any refunds are at their discretion so be mindful of that.
The only thing I really didn't like and the reason I deducted 1 star is because when the trip was over and the operator had been paid we were held up until everyone completed their review and he stood over everyone in the group to ensure he only received 5 star reviews and even coached what he thought you should write. I didn't like that. If people feel pressured to write you a 5 star review, how honest is it? Let the tour speak for itself.
Also, the ad says you do as much or as little as you want, that it's a flying lesson but really its just a photo op. You really only take the controls for a few minutes. Long enough for him to take a picture of you with your hands on the controls, and he held the pictures he took for us until he got all of his 5 star reviews from each of us.
It was a worthwhile experience. Total expenses out the door including tip it was just under a $1000 for 3 people for about an hour of actual flying.

Our 5 island discovery flight was simply incredible! Three of us flew with Laura, our pilot, and it couldn't have been any better. She is an excellent pilot and I felt very safe in her care. Her attention to detail for the history of the islands and knowledge of the most picturesque spots was greatly appreciated. She created perfect photo ops by maneuvering the plane just at the right time and place. We felt welcomed from the very first interaction where she showed us where to park to the very end when we refreshed with some strawberry sodas and chatted about our flight. The plane was comfortable and it wasn't too warm. I am a local business owner and cannot wait to recommend this once-in-a-lifetime experience to all of my clients.

Great tour, with Steve as our guide. He was able to provide a lot of information about all the islands we saw, and made us feel safe for the entire flight. The sights were beautiful and the duration of the flight was perfect. We highly recommend this tour for anyone, and look forward to booking again on our next trip to Maui.

This was a simply incredible experience. While my daughter and I fly in general aviation airplanes all the time, my wife is a timid flyer. This experience was so smooth and the explanation was so solid that even she enjoyed the trip. We loved the Jurassic Park cliffs. We flew over Moloka‘i. The rim of the submerged volcano is amazing. Everything about this trip is well practiced and planned. The water is an entirely different color than you see in the whale watching or reef crawling boats. January is a perfect time to go. A whale breached in the half moon of the volcano while we orbited. It's worth the money. “You haven't seen a tree until you've seen its shadow from the sky.” - Amelia Earhart. You haven't seen the majesty of a pod of whales until you've seen them jump for joy from a plane, right above them. - Me just now

Three of us friends went for the 5 island plane ride. Eric flew us around and his excitement plus knowledge made the ride super fun for us..
My husband who sat in the front had the most fun as he got a 360 degree view of the islands.
Highly recommend for people coming to Maui to go ahead and book the ride!!

We had a great flight today with Laura. The weather was great and the information on the islands was interesting, we learned a lot. My husband really enjoyed flying and Laura gave him multiple opportunities to take over and he thought it was awesome. She made sure we were comfortable and keep checking on me since I was in the 2nd row. I’m so glad we decided to do this one versus a helicopter tour since this was private and we both had window views - I actually had views out of my left and right side windows. Hint - I think we got a better deal by booking directly through them and to save a little more, pay cash. We definitely recommend. A++

This was such a cool personalized experience for our trip to Maui. Eric was extremely accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. We had a great time seeing all of the islands and the Molokini crater. The water is phenomenal from above, and getting to see whales was the icing on the cake!

The tour guide Eric was not only friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, but also a skillful pilot. With his incredible skill, we were able to witness the sea cliff from an impeccable perspective. With his patience, we were given multiple chances to take pictures, haha. Great experience, worth spending time with the ones you love.

We had such a great time with this excursion! Eric and Steve were so friendly and knowledgeable and you could tell they enjoyed doing what they do! Steve was our pilot and gave us a great ride. We booked this trip for later in our week on Maui so we flew over alot of what we visited by car. It gave a totally different perspective of what we had seen on land! Thanks again Eric and Steve for a great experience.

A very amazing experience. The pilot Eric was incredibly knowledgeable and did a great job flying the plane. On our trip we saw all 5 islands and at each island Eric had multiple facts ready to tell us. He also took multiple pictures so we could remember this great experience

We're planning to take this trip in May (3 of us) and have a couple of questions..
1. Is there a pickup- drop service included in this? We will be staying in the Wailea area. Or will it be simpler to use Uber?
2. Assuming there will be a card machine to pay in USD at the location?

I don’t believe he offers pick-up, but he does take card using an app on his phone. We paid with credit card at the end of our flight.
