Ayoub is a great host.
I took this tour with Ayoub immediately after COVID during a low tourist season. I was the only one on the tour but Ayoub was extremely personable, funny, and informative. This was one of the highlights of my time in Marrakech.

The Amazing Ayoub
Jul 2021 • Family
This is our first vacation to Marrakech (visiting from the US with our children) so we decided to book this tour on our first evening in town to help us learn our way around. Our guide, Ayoub exceeded our expectations, he was very knowledgeable, made sure we were comfortable & very attentive to our children. The food was amazing, the stops were spaced out well and allowed for lots of questions, pictures etc... The dinner at the end of the tour was one of the best meals we have ever had and the view from the rooftop was great. We highly recommend this tour especially if it’s your first time visiting and if possible ask for Ayoub he is simply the best. Also we are very cautious of Covid and he wore us mask the entire time & provided hand sanitizer at every stop we made.

I really enjoyed the food tour we had with Omar, he was the perfect guide, knowledgeable, funny and encouraging! It felt like he had time for everyone and it was great to see how much the local sellers liked him too. The foods were all delicious and it was cool to see them being traditionally cooked (bread and lamb) as well as experiencing both market stalls and a restaurant. Highly recommend this tour.

Excellent Experience!

Mohammed was our guide on this tour. If you have ever gone around Djemaa El Fna on your own, you will understand how scary it can be!. So to do it with a fantastic guide makes all the difference!!. He took us all around the area sampling sweet treats, soup and snails!!. Also, delicious mint and herbal teas and olives. And finishing off with tagine in a local restaurant. Make sure you are hungry before you go!. Well worth the money. :)

Great food evening with Omar
A great way to navigate the hustle and bustle of the main market and the side streets. Omar our guide was excellent and has great historical and current knowledge of the city and its people.

You get to try all sorts of food and see how some of it is made and obtained by the residents. Who knew that the unmarked donut shop is the equivalent of a pub at the end of the day for working people...

There’s lots to try and a dinner at the end.

Top tip: don’t worry about saving too much room for the dinner as three main plates (tangia) and three side plates (veg tagine) are shared between ten people - so embrace the snacks as you go.

Excellent trip over 3 hours around the very busy main square in the evening. Enjoyed a thorough tasting of what and where the locals eat . Omar was very interesting, personable and knowledgeable not only of the food but the culture of the Medina too.

Great Introduction
Jan 2020 • Solo
I took this tour in my first night in Marrakech. It was informative not only on foods but also on culture. I felt like the places we went to eat were more local and not touristy. There were both sweet and savory items we tasted and definitely more than enough. It was a really great experience and would recommend this tour.

Good value and overview
This is a good tour if you have just arrived in Marrakesh. This is not only about food and tasting local delicacies, the tour guide also provides tons of historical info

I recommend this tour to be taken the first day you arrive to learn the how/what/when/where for the remaining of your visit
